Chapter 29 - I'm Gonna Close A Gate

The Forgotten Space.....

"What?!!!"

Jaden roared, causing a massive shockwave that sent some floating rocks flying.

Tamara smirked, obviously satisfied at feeling his troubled reaction.

She was well delighted in feeling his troubled emotions that seeped in, from the gate in front of her.

"Tch"

Tamara hissed in response to his outburst.

Jaden went quiet for a while before asking.

"Don't tell me that you are talking about the gate in front of you".

Jaden stated, still doubting Tamara's proclamation.

"Yes. Got any problem with that".

The indifference in Tamara's voice may have made Jaden seriously enraged.

Jaden growled furiously, especially hearing Tamara's words.

"Yes I do". Jaden spoke, his loud deep voice suddenly becoming dangerous with rage. "But I wouldn't worry myself too much, because I know you are not really capable of closing the gate. This particular gate links the human world to Nashdrad, and if you close it, there would be undeniable consequences".

"And so!"

Tamara's voice was sharp, her smirk already wiping off.

"And so, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to close it. You wouldn't want the City of Angels to fall into utter panic and confusion. And you know very well that it's going to be very hard on the Angels in the human world, who wouldn't be able to return to Nashdrad".

Jaden said, his voice, despite the rage was very persuasive.

But Tamara wasn't convinced or persuaded. She held firm on her decision to close the gate in order to prevent Jaden from accomplishing his evil plans.

If doing this might affect the Angels in the human world and those in Nashdrad, then she will.

The Angel of war must be reborn at all costs.

That was the motto that kept her going and she'll see this mission in which fate bestowed upon her, to the end.

With a hard expression, she stared at the gate with a narrowed eye.

"That's where you are wrong Jaden. I'll do anything to prevent you from killing those reborn versions of the Angel of war".

"You really are a tough nut to crack, Tamara". Jaden said with a vicious growl. "Wait till when I come and get you and you will be dead meat..... I was about carrying out my plans of killing those reborn versions of my brother but I'll put that on a halt. Killing you will be my number one priority because you are the real reason I have this problem now. If you hadn't known about the reason for my brother's disappearance, you wouldn't want to be doing this to bring him back....I'll come get you, Tamara".

"That's if you'll get here before I close the gate".

A malicious laughter was heard from the gate.

"Don't overestimate yourself Tamara. There's no way you will close that gate before I get to the forbidden space. Only strong and powerful Angels like my brother and I can close the gate in less than 20 minutes. You are considerably a weakling in my sight. Let's see you close the gate before I get to you".

Hearing, Jaden's words, Tamara grinned.

"If I close this gate before you get here, I'll make you eat your words".

Tamara huffed while boasting.

Jaden laughed mockingly. His laughter causing little shockwaves.

And in no time, his voice faded away and wasn't heard from again.

A wild wind blew over the dark forgotten space.

The golden gate with Jasper hedges shimmered uncontrollably, upon contact with the wind.

"Mistress, it's best if you close the gate now". Unknown finally spoke when he was certain Jaden's voice wasn't heard again. "We don't want Jaden coming here and stopping us from closing the gate".

"You're right. I better hurry".

Tamara said in response.

Without wasting time, she quickly summoned her inmate magic, once again.

The magic coursing through her with ferocity.

Her purple eyes started glowing brightly.

Her purple wings spread out and they also started glowing with purple light.

Purple sparks of electricity coursed around her and through her wings.

Both her hands were also covered with purple flames that held sparks of electricity.

The whole forgotten space once again, responded to her powerful display of magic.

The floating rocks and boulders started rotating rapidly around the air.

The floating bridges were as well coming together.

Then to top it all, the rocky ground of the space shook violently as if there was an earthquake.

Which there actually was.

Unknown struggled in vain to keep himself standing still.

The whole space was shaking with ferocity as if the space had come alive.

All in response to Tamara summoning her inmate magic.

Eventually, Unknown lost his footing and fell to the rocky ground.

He almost hit his head on a rock as a result of all the whole shaking. If not for his horns that had protected him.

He struggled endlessly to get up on his feet.

As for Tamara, she was quite oblivious of the chaos that was ongoing as a result of her summoning her inmate magic.

But after a while she successfully summoned her inmate magic and was ready to close the gate.

Once done, she gave an exasperated sigh.

She could feel the power coursing through her veins, through her body and through her wings.

The purple electricity alongside with the glowing of her wings increased drastically.

Taking her gaze to the opened gate, she stretched her right arm out, her palm that was covered and coated with purple flame spread out.

"Angel Magic! Beam of inmate magic, Beam of spiritual energy!!"

Tamara chanted with a loud voice that shook the very grounds of the space.

A beam of purple spiritual energy with purple purple electric bolts sticking out of it, shot right at the opened gate with jasper hedges.

The gate pulsed violently upon the purple beam of spiritual energy hitting it.

It glowed and shimmered uncontrollably with the beam of purple spiritual energy hitting it's metallic gold bars.

However, with Tamara's beam of purple spiritual energy hitting the open gate, the gate did not show any signs of closing neither did it budge.

Tamara noticed it and frowned.

Her purple glowing eyes still glowing otherworldly.

"Angel Magic!!"

Tamara chanted as she shot another beam with her left hand.

The purple beam of spiritual energy with purple electric bolts sticking out, shot right at the open gate and hit it.

The open gate shook violently with two beams of purple spiritual energy hitting it.

Somehow, the gate seemed to repulse both beams of purple spiritual energy, but Tamara didn't give up.

She added more spiritual energy to both beams, combining the beams to become one enlarged beam of purple spiritual energy.

With that enlarged beam of purple spiritual energy shooting out of her hands, the opened gate started showing signs of closing.

The jasper hedges that were once glowing brightly, started dimming and both side of the opened gate started coming together.

Meanwhile, the forgotten space wasn't in a good condition.

With Tamara shooting out a large beam of purple spiritual energy, the whole space was in utter chaos.

The rocky ground of the space shook considerably violently.

The floating rocks and boulders, for some reason, were exploding frantically in the air, causing massive shockwaves in the space.

The floating bridges, unlike the floating rocks and boulders were not exploding.

Instead, the floating bridges were melting into sand and pouring from the air.

The floating rocks and boulders exploding in the air, coupled with the floating bridges melting into sand, the whole scenery triggered even more with Tamara discharging more raw spiritual energy into the beam of purple spiritual energy.

As for Unknown, he tried protecting himself from the rapid explosions of floating rocks and boulders, while keeping himself steady to avoid falling to the ground.

He did this by creating a little barrier around himself. The little barrier did well in keeping him safe while he watched as Tamara displayed the power and might within her.

The golden gate, though it was closing, it did this at a very slow pace.

Despite Tamara unleashing a very terrifying beam of surplus purple spiritual energy, the open gate was still closing at a slow pace.

At this rate, Jaden, the Angel of Destruction, would surely be able to get to the forgotten space before Tamara even closes the gate.

If that happens, Tamara wouldn't be able to close the gate fully, because Jaden would surely stop her.

And if that also happens, there's a possibility Jaden would kill her in order to let the secret of his brother's disappearance die with her.

"Aaahhh!!!"

Tamara shouted loudly as she released more spiritual energy into the beam of purple spiritual energy.

The purple spiritual energy beam enlarged even more, hitting the still open gate with more ferocity.

Nevertheless, the gate still closed at a small pace.

"Hey, Mistress!!!"

Unknown shouted as he struggled with the shaking ground.

"What?!!"

Tamara shouted back, her focus and concentration never leaving the gate she was firing purple spiritual energy at.

"Do you need any help?"

Tamara answered right away as it seemed the gate was really giving her a hard time. "Yeah, I really need some, especially since this damn gate is giving me a hard time".

"I'll be right there Mistress".

Unknown shouted back.

He quickly got rid of the barrier covering him with the wave of his hand and once again stepped into the chaos of the forgotten space.

He sprinted immediately to Tamara's side as he landed effortlessly beside Tamara.

Although, he was just a few feet from Tamara. Maybe four feet.

Taking a deep breath, Unknown decided to transform into his full demonic form.

Black spiritual energy exploded out of Unknown's eyes as he let out a primal roar.

His eyes became dark with black spiritual energy as he continued roaring loudly.
