Susan head toward the kitchen... but froze when she saw someone lounged lazily on the couch.
"Oh? Welcome, brother Xavier," she said with a sweet smile.
But the smile vanished instantly when Xavier blurred forward and slammed her against the wall, his forearm pinning her throat.
"You shouldn't go around killing people carelessly," Xavier hissed through clenched teeth. His grip tightened, cutting off her breath.
"She... she saw me... she found out," Susan choked, struggling beneath his hold. "That's why I had to kill her."
Xavier's eyes were ice cold as he studied her face, searching for a lie.
Then he released her abruptly, shoving her aside roughly.
Susan staggered, coughing hard as she clutched her throat, gasping for air.
"If haven't gone there to erase the CCTV footage, do you really think you wouldn't have been caught?" Xavier asked coldly, his voice sharp. He scoffed when Susan's eyes widened in realization.
She had completely forgotten about that.
