Chapter 79 - 《DXD: Transfer Student》Chapter 79: Standing on the Female Side

The moment Rias and her team breached the enemy's defenses, they unleashed hell.

Akeno was a storm incarnate, lightning crackling around her as she hurled a massive thunderball straight into the heart of the fallen angels' ranks. The blast swept through them, paralyzing bodies mid-spell—an entire formation frozen in place.

Koneko was next, small fists flying. She crashed into a stunned fallen angel, sending him screaming through the air like a cannonball—over a hundred meters before he skidded to a stop, carving a trench in the floor. Without missing a beat, she snatched another by the arm, swung him overhead, and slammed him down in a perfect arc. Two moves, and the poor bastard was left twitching on the ground.

It was almost comical—this much destruction from such a tiny girl.

Holy light flashed. The enemy rallied, two fallen angels summoning sacred magic. Even corrupted by desire, their powers still drew on divine energy; radiant beams exploded toward Koneko, her pupils narrowing in response.

High-ranking angels. No joke.

She barely had time to cross her arms before the holy blasts hit, sending her flying back dozens of meters. But as a Rook, Koneko's monstrous strength and defense let her tank the hit. She checked herself—just a scratch on her forearm. Her clothes, though, hadn't fared so well. The lower half was shredded, exposing her slim waist and flat stomach, skirt hanging in tatters.

Draconis saw Koneko deep in enemy territory and didn't hesitate. Sword in hand, he jumped into the fray.

He wasn't built for brute force like Koneko, but with the Sacred Gear—Aegis of the Virtuous Monarch—he matched her in both attack and defense. With every battle, its power grew clearer: the Regalia Blade shattered even holy armor, and when Draconis went all out, his destructive force soared.

But the real core wasn't the sword—it was the silver shield, once stained with a Virtuous Monarch's blood. The Divine Lament Shield's true power, Citadel of Endless Dusk, was something Draconis could only tap into a little. If he ever unleashed it fully, he'd be unstoppable.

This Sacred Gear was born from a king's will to protect the world—a weapon forged from pure intent.

Draconis didn't need the shield's deepest power today. Just its protective field was enough to let him walk through the enemy's formation untouched. Since reaching mid-class devil, fallen angels' attacks couldn't even scratch him.

He still wore the title of low-class devil—no chance yet for promotion. But that didn't matter; his strength already put him near the top of the mid-class bracket.

With Draconis and Koneko holding the front, Asia kept them patched up from behind, her Twilight Healing working overtime. Rias and Akeno, free to cut loose, unleashed their full magical fury.

The fallen angels were terrified.

BOOM!

Explosions rocked the chamber, lightning snakes dancing overhead. Akeno's sweet smile never faltered as she dropped seven enemies in one strike.

"Why are they so strong?" one fallen angel gasped, electricity crackling across his body.

Akeno's eyes sparkled. "Ara, you seem lively enough!" Her words were gentle, but her attacks were merciless. The surge of power around her made the fallen angels flinch.

"Wait! Let's talk! Fallen angels and devils don't have to fight anymore, right? The war ended centuries ago…"

Akeno answered with a lightning bolt thick as a tree trunk.

BOOM!

The poor guy collapsed, smoke curling from his body.

Akeno tilted her head, all innocence. "Oh? Was he asking for mercy? Oops. Too late now."

With the devils rampaging through their ranks, the remaining fallen angels realized escape was impossible. Desperation flared.

"Fight to the end! Lord Kokabiel will avenge us!"

Divine power surged, growing wild and unstable—they were ready to go down swinging.

Draconis glanced up at the few female fallen angels overhead, their sacred energy boiling. He flicked his wrist, summoning a purple-red magic circle. A silver sigil materialized in his palm.

"Go."

He tossed the Sigil of Suppression. His little familiar zipped forward, wings fluttering, stamping the silver seals onto the angels with rapid-fire precision.

As the anti-magic field and sealing power erupted, the fallen angels' spells fizzled out.

Rip—rip—rip—rip—

Fabric tore. The female fallen angels' clothes exploded off, leaving them stunned, each marked with a glowing purple "正" character across their skin.

"Wha—?"

They stared in disbelief as their sealed bodies dropped from the air and crashed to the ground.

"What kind of power is this?"

"Bastard! You animal!"

Death in battle was one thing. This humiliation was another. The angels shrieked, furious.

"Pervert!"

"Degenerate!"

Their curses rang out, worse than any wound.

Draconis kept his composure. Koneko, standing nearby, added her own commentary:

"That's awful."

Draconis blinked. "Koneko, whose side are you on?"

"I'm on the female side," she replied coolly.

"…It's not like I'd use that move on you."

"Doesn't matter. It's still awful." Koneko pursed her lips.

Draconis sighed, flicking the buzzing Sigil of Suppression as it hovered like an annoying bee. His voice was dry:

"My reputation's doomed. All thanks to you."
