They finally arrived; it was on the outskirts of Gravemire but close to the docks. The cold air from the bay wafted over the inland; it smelled like water, seaweed, and salt. The sound of seagulls and seahawks cut through the area as if the city was dying and thieves were picking it dry. The road stretched ahead, lined with corrugated steel fences and hollow warehouses, their windows blacked out and their walls tagged with fading gang marks.
It was like a thousand pairs of eyes were watching them. It seemed to be affecting Lucan the most as they walked into the gravel-paved road leading to a warehouse that had a small sign reading, "Tidegate Freightworks. Trespassers will be prosecuted." Nova scoffed at the sign, "If they don't like visitors, they shouldn't be doing illegal shit." She muttered as Aria turned to them, "Like I said, you two's job is to watch."
They moved ahead as a man came out, then 6 people, one guy was about 6'8 300lbs, with a scar across his face and seemed to be more muscle than fat, "Aye! Can't you read the damn sign? Trespassers ain't welcome." Aria spoke up first in retaliation, "Not when you plan on starting a gang war, we welcome." A girl with bright red hair and pigtails walked up, "We don't know what you are talking about."
"ABPU! Surrender now or Suffer Serious Setbacks", Lucan proclaimed. Kairo looked ready to throw down despite his job to hang back; four of them started to form a circle, the big guy, the girl, one lanky guy and a short, skinny guy. The big guy started to move; it was swift for a three-hundred-pounder. However, Lucan shoved his fist into the big man's face, and the guy bounced off Lucan's face and stumbled back.
"Let's go!" Aria started running to the building as the 3 others started to approach Lucan to take the hero down. The other three guys standing closer to the entrance were shocked as the 3 APBU agents rushed at them. They whipped out pistols, but they all exploded in their hands.
