*~Gabrielle's POV"
Just when you thought it was over… it is just starting.
"Gabrielle is dead and you are…." That stuff was ringing repeatedly in my head. What was that old frail lady about to say? What did she know? And why was she claiming to be Penny?
Penny sat me down on the bed and gave me a glass of coffee while the other wolves came to pack away her body.
"Who is that?" I asked, and Penny blinked.
I asked, and Penny blinked.
"You mean that old lady? She's one of the wolf prisoners who escaped from prison. She's mad. You don't have to take anything she says seriously. " She brushed her hands away.
"But she's pretending to be you." I raised my tone a little.
"Don't take her seriously. The more you do, the more confused you'll get about this old thing. She's insane, and she escaped from prison. I don't know why the wolf guards aren't taking their job more seriously. Just because the Alpha isn't around, they've decided to misbehave."
