"Alright! Alright! Calm down, I'm coming!" I get up, having to pause MrTommo's video. "Just when he starts to explain Gerard's piece."

"Christ! If this guy rings that bell one more time," I grumble, finally reaching the door. "Can I help yo-"

That was the last thing I remember. Truck-kun visited me, and now here I am in the world filled with quirks, superheroes, and supervillains. I was reborn as a baby named Keigo Kurosaki. It's been about four years since I was abruptly reincarnated here. Meaning that anytime now, I should be manifesting my quirk. In fact, I should probably finish getting ready for the check-up.
"Please, gacha gods, just one last time, please give me a quirk," I prayed while putting on one of the many superhero shirts Dad got me.
"Kei-chan, you ready?" That was my mom.
"Yep! Coming down in a second." Putting on the necklace my dad got me for my fourth birthday. It reminded me of a Quincy Cross from Bleach. Dad was adamant when he told me to wear it wherever I go, or at least keep it close all the time, no matter what. It's probably nothing, but where's the harm? Plus, I'd rather not give my old man more stress; hero work is already a lot.
Entering the living room, Mom is ready to go. "Ready, Mom!"
Sae Kurosaki
Quirk: Acceleration
Description: She can speed up whatever she touches with her hands. Like speeding up plant growth or healing.
"Alright, let's go," My mom said as we headed to her car, "Your dad's already started his patrol. He said he'll be back for lunch, so we'll just grab some ramen from Old Man Yama's shop." Hearing her say that as we got into her car almost made me not want to go to today's check-up.
"Do we really have to go to Old Man Yama? There are plenty of shops around his place that we can try out," I watch as the city of Musutafu passes by, "And I'd rather not get another lecture for being 'too rowdy'."
"You've got no say in this, little man. You can't deny that the Old Man's cooking is something very special. Also, it's your fault for not listening to your dad and me when we told you to slow down." What a cruel woman! I can already feel that fiery stare he always gives me.
...
As mom drives us to the hospital, I can't keep my thoughts in order. I'm so excited to get my superpower, if I get one. But, I'm kind of nervous. While I know the world of My Hero, there are some inconsistencies that I've noticed when I compare this place to what I can remember about the show.
For example, UA is now a university, with dorms and all. At least that means fifteen or sixteen-year-olds won't be sent to war now...if that still even happens. Then there's also the fact that I've been seeing some heroes and villains that should not exist in this world. Marvel and DC heroes exist here, along with their rogues' gallery; furthermore, I've noticed that these heroes and villains don't seem to be as overpowered as their original counterparts. But that's not all. There are also characters from other anime that exist here, with them getting the same power treatment as the comic characters. How considerate of this world's creator.
Although that's not the end of the differences. Because if you think about all these new, maybe replacement, heroes, one must ask...where are the likes of Batman? Or The Flash? Well, to answer that, it's simply that this Earth is somehow larger than my old world.
Should that be possible? I don't know.
How much bigger is it? I just know it's not as big as Jupiter.
There are some big questions here, and I am not smart enough to know the answer.
(AN: No, seriously. I don't know, I just want to make a fun story... besides, it's fiction anyway.)

"So, what quirk do you want to get, Kei-chan?" My mom asked as we waited for my results.
"I don't know. Hopefully not something lame." My legs feel like they'll fly off anytime soon, since I've been swinging them back and forth in my chair due to my anticipation.
"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get an awesome quirk! Maybe you'll even get your dad's quirk," She points at my shirt. Yep, that's right. The superhero shirt Dad got me is one of his merch items. This one had him flexing his muscles. "If you get your dad's quirk, you guys could be a father-son superhero duo. Wouldn't that be so cool, Kei-chan?"
"Come on, Mom. Let's be honest, if I get his quirk, his stupid ego probably comes with it." I grumbled. "I'd rather get your quirk."
"Aw, don't be like that. Your dad's got a cool quirk. Although now that you bring up his ego, maybe I would rather you get my powers." We laugh as finally, the door to our room opens.
"Doc, you're back! So what quirk do I have?" Damn, I can't keep my excitement down. Not only do I have the chance to get superpowers, which in itself is very exciting, but being reincarnated as a child is messing with my brain, and I feel like a kid from way back when.
"Alright, little buddy, calm down. Good news is you do have a quirk." He sat on his stool as he kept his focus on the clipboard he was holding. Thank you, gach gods! Wait, why does it sound like there's a b-
"But...there is a little bit of, not so good news." The doctor finally set his clipboard down as he looked at my mom and me. "Don't worry, it's not anything bad, worrying, or dangerous. It's just that, while you definitely do have a quirk, we don't know what it is."
"Huh?" My brain feels like it's malfunctioning.
"It's strange, but basically, while you do have a quirk, it just so happens that for some odd reason, your powers are...locked away."
"Huh?"
Keigo Kurosaki
Quirk: Unknown
Description: While being confirmed to have a quirk, his powers are currently locked away. It is currently unknown why this is happening and what his true power is.
