Mikoto Uchiha tilted her head slightly, studying the small white-haired girl in front of her. Her expression softened, her eyes narrowing in quiet curiosity. "No, I'm not sure that we've ever met before, Mrs. Uchiha," Raven said, her voice calm though her posture tightened slightly. Mikoto bent her knees, lowering herself to eye level with the girl. "Hmm… you remind me of an old friend I once had. There's just something about your eyes."
Raven took a cautious step back. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Mikoto's lips curved faintly. "Relax, I'm just teasing you."
Raven forced a small laugh, tucking a strand of white hair behind her ear. "Who do I remind you of?"
Mikoto's gaze shifted toward Naruto, her smile fading into a sigh. "Not someone I can talk about in front of others."
Raven's violet eyes glowed briefly, though her expression remained steady. In that moment, she understood exactly who Mikoto was talking about—Kushina and Minato Namikaze. Her past self and her husband. The memory pressed down like a whisper against her mind, but she hid the emotion behind an easy smile.
Nearby, Naruto and Sasuke were squared off again, glaring at each other like two miniature warriors. "Naruto, why do you think Sasuke is your rival?" Raven asked, folding her arms.
"I'm not sure," Naruto admitted, balling his fists. "I just know he's my arch-nemesis—and someday he's going to be my best friend."
Sasuke crossed his arms, scowling. "Who wants to be friends with a stinky ramen lover like you?"
Raven, Mikoto, and Ino all burst out laughing while Naruto pouted indignantly. Before he could respond, a sharp voice cut through the air. "My lady, you're being summoned back to the Uchiha compound. Your husband requests your immediate return."
A uniformed Uchiha officer stood at attention a few feet away, his posture rigid. Mikoto's smile evaporated as she turned toward him. "Tell my husband I'll return when I'm ready."
"My lady, please—you must return at once," the man pressed, glancing uneasily at the children gathered around her.
"Shut up and get out of my sight," Mikoto said coldly.
Raven watched in silence, her eyes narrowing. Fugaku Uchiha—the clan head and chief of the Konoha Police—has clearly sent this man to fetch her.
"Do you have to leave so suddenly?" Raven asked softly. "I was hoping you could join us on our outing."
Mikoto's irritation eased. "Of course I'll join you."
"My lady, Lord Fugaku—" the officer started again, but Mikoto's tone snapped like thunder. "Tell Fugaku I'll return when I'm finished."
Sasuke sighed, folding his arms. "Mom, I don't want to hang out with Naruto."
"It's good for you to spend time with kids outside the clan," Mikoto said firmly. "Too many Uchiha act like stuck-up old men."
"I agree," Raven said, her expression sharp with amusement. "I've met a few Uchiha before—most of them act like they've got a permanent stick stuck up their butt."
Naruto instantly collapsed to the ground laughing, rolling back and forth on the street. "Oh my god—that perfectly describes Sasuke! He's got a stick up his butt!"
Sasuke's face twisted with outrage as he held his backside. "I do not have a stick up my butt!"
Mikoto burst into open laughter, her eyes watering. "Ha! He's not wrong."
The officer flinched at her tone, shifting awkwardly on his feet. "My lady—"
