The evening sky dimmed into shades of violet, and a lone figure trudged down the quiet street. Her fiery-red hair drooped wearily, and her pale face looked drained of life.
"Ugh… this is inhuman. I've been burning up all day," Agni Moon grumbled, her voice heavy with exhaustion.
In her arms, she hugged a roughly shaped clay pot. Her steps wobbled with every few paces, as though she might collapse at any moment.
Behind her, a young girl with a wooden bucket in her hands hesitated for a moment before running up to her.
"Master Agni," the girl called softly, "do you need me to help you get back?"
Agni blinked, confused. "Little Moon Lord? Are you… talking to me?"
Sophia nodded innocently. "Yeah."
For a second, Agni was stunned. Then, despite her fatigue, she chuckled. "Hehe~ That's the first time someone's ever called me that."
