A long time had passed since the incident at the Technology Expo, and Hammer and his bodyguards were recovering in the hospital.
However, he became even more distressed, as he was now constantly met with sympathetic glances.
He hated this situation, even more than being ridiculed in the past.
All the media outlets were now broadcasting news about the Technology Expo.
And while reporting, the news anchors always imitated him.
They recounted his experience with sympathetic expressions, detailing how he was kidnapped by Terrorists and replaced by an imposter at the Technology Expo.
Ultimately, he was rescued by Stark, who brought him and his bodyguards to the hospital.
This plunged Hammer into deep despair; he had originally intended to mock Stark with those battle suits at the Technology Expo.
But now, not only had he failed to achieve his goal, he himself had been saved by Stark.
He now felt like a Joker, performing a ridiculous show on stage for others' amusement.
To avoid hearing these things anymore, Hammer left New York.
He was going to travel the World, to forget everything.
Hunters Tavern
A disgruntled Stark sat across from a similarly displeased Ivan.
Although their relationship was not as tense as before after their fight, it hadn't improved much either.
They never expected to encounter each other here.
"What are you doing here?"
Both spoke at the same time, their tones exceptionally stiff.
The atmosphere between them grew quiet, and after a moment of silence, Ivan, unable to bear it any longer, glared at Stark.
"Andy arranged a place for me to live; I'm working here now."
He hadn't expected to run into Stark here. Although their relationship was no longer tense, he still found Stark annoying.
Hearing Ivan's explanation, Stark said flippantly:
"Ha~ You're finished. I'm the owner of this Tavern."
With that, Stark whistled. He had finally found an opportunity to show superiority in front of Ivan.
Just as he was about to mock him, he noticed Ivan's strange look.
He felt like Ivan was looking at him as if he were an idiot. "What's with that look? I'm your boss now!"
Stark was very displeased with Ivan's disrespectful behavior.
He had to make Ivan understand who the real boss was now.
But Ivan showed him no respect, still pulling a long face and looking at him like an idiot.
"Boss? You weakling, you want to be my boss?
I work here, but I'm not an employee of Hunters Bar. My workplace is the auto repair shop next door."
When Ivan came here with Andy, he originally wanted to join Hunters Bar.
However, he could only join Dr. Ethan's research lab, but Ivan didn't like working in a lab; he preferred mechanical repair and modification.
So, after understanding the situation in Hells Kitchen, he borrowed some money from Andy and opened an auto repair and modification shop near Hunters Bar.
His repair shop was very popular with the residents of Hells Kitchen; people here often needed car repairs and modifications.
Especially after Dominic proposed racing competitions, car modifications here reached new heights.
However, not many people in Hells Kitchen would open an auto repair shop.
Opening an auto repair shop here was practically throwing money away.
Those who could afford the modification and repair costs were all gang leaders.
These people would pay if they wanted to, but even if they didn't, no one could do anything about it.
And the other group of people couldn't even afford the repair and modification costs. They only had one goal for modifying their vehicles.
That was to make their cars go faster, to help them shake off the Police pursuing them.
Therefore, auto repair shops were a rare sight in Hells Kitchen.
Most people could only modify their cars in their own ways. Never mind the performance of the modified cars.
Just the appearance of the cars became bizarre under their modifications, presenting a steampunk style.
Such unusually shaped cars, let alone the Police losing track, anyone would remember such vehicles.
The rear of the car, full of exhaust pipes, would leave a sufficiently deep impression on everyone.
It's unclear where these guys got their bizarre theory that the more and larger the exhaust pipes, the faster the car would go.
Upon hearing such a theory, Ivan couldn't help but shake his head.
Especially one guy who modified the rear of his car to look like a Hive. After bringing his car in,
he confidently explained this bizarre theory to Ivan, even using space shuttles as evidence.
Ivan found it impossible to communicate with this guy due to his illiteracy.
He could only let him promote his bizarre theories, and even had to occasionally nod in agreement with them.
It was only because Ivan's auto repair shop was located near Hunters Bar, and Jessica and the others would occasionally visit the repair shop and ask Ivan to help modify their cars.
Otherwise, Ivan's auto repair shop would probably have been smashed by the unruly hooligans of Hells Kitchen on the very day it opened.
However, over these days, many people had come to understand Ivan's importance.
All vehicles modified by Ivan had achieved breakthrough improvements in performance.
Therefore, Ivan's auto repair shop was implicitly designated as the official modification spot for racing competitions.
Everyone watching the races in Hells Kitchen took pride in having their cars modified by Ivan.
Because some busybodies had compiled statistics on the vehicles personally modified by Ivan, these cars showed a significant increase in win rates after modification.
This made the racers even more excited, and they brought more cars for Ivan to help modify.
Ivan also made a fortune from this, not only quickly repaying his debt to Andy.
He even expanded his auto repair shop. Besides helping these people with car repairs and modifications,
Ivan was also redesigning his own equipment, preparing for a new round of competition with Stark.
So Ivan was not worried about Stark's threat; he lived here, but he was not an employee of Hunters Bar.
Looking at Ivan's disdainful expression, Stark suddenly felt a lump in his throat.
From Ivan's indifferent expression, it was clear that Ivan truly wasn't worried about him causing trouble and getting him fired.
Perhaps Ivan had other assets here. Thinking this, Stark snorted at Ivan and raised his glass to drink deeply.
He needed to vent now, and drinking was a good way to do it.
With a dull thud, Stark slammed his glass on the table.
"More drinks!!!"
Seeing Stark chug an entire glass of beer, Ivan, not to be outdone, tilted his head back and emptied the large glass of beer in front of him.
The two began to compete in drinking again, a competition to see who would give up first and go to the restroom.
"Are they really okay?"
Looking at the two foolishly competing in drinking, Dr. Ethan seemed a bit worried.
From the moment they met in Hunters Bar, they had been at a stalemate. They had just managed to start talking.
But before they could exchange more than a few words, they fell into a stalemate again. Now, a few gambling customers in Hunters Bar were even betting on them.
This made Dr. Ethan a little headache. To be honest, he preferred Ivan over Stark.
Stark's venomous tongue could only be countered by Andy from various angles.
Ivan, however, was different. Aside from showing disdain towards Stark,
at other times, he always appeared very willing to communicate with people, like a warm-hearted strongman.
But now the two were sitting together, like two beasts ready to fight at any moment.
Regarding Dr. Ethan's concerns, Andy appeared quite unconcerned.
He knew these two wouldn't fight; they just disliked each other.
"Don't worry! They won't fight at all."
Andy glanced at the crowd cheering beside Stark and Ivan, then looked at Dr. Ethan with a smile.
There was no need to worry about the two of them; this situation would last for a long time.
Unless one of them completely conceded, this situation would continue indefinitely.
Withdrawing his gaze, Andy looked at Dr. Ethan with a hint of curiosity.
The reason they were in Hunters Bar was because Dr. Ethan had suddenly contacted them.
He wondered what urgent matter Dr. Ethan had that made him contact them so anxiously.
"You contacted us so urgently, is something important happening?"
As Andy asked, Dr. Ethan pulled out a thick stack of documents.
These were the materials Frank had obtained from the guy who attacked the Technology Expo, after various interrogation methods.
As he flipped through the documents, Andy's brows furrowed.
The documents indicated that this incident was orchestrated by an organization called HYDRA.
Andy knew some specific details about HYDRA.
It was a pro-war organization that emerged in Germany during World War II, and the warmonger who triggered the World War was their leader.
However, Andy remembered that this organization had been eliminated by Captain America. Why would it reappear now?
And judging by their various actions described in the documents, this organization had been lurking in the World for a long time.
The guy interrogated by Frank had lived in a HYDRA training Base since he was a child.
By his age, HYDRA must have been dormant for at least thirty years.
Perhaps they had only gone from overt to covert after the World War, lurking in this World.
Putting away the documents in his hand, Andy knew this organization was not something they could handle.
Such organizations naturally had corresponding organizations to keep them in check; they only needed to secure their own territory.
However, what worried Andy now was that HYDRA had obtained the designs for the mechanical battle suits, and they were very likely to make a comeback.
Andy glanced at Stark and Ivan, who were still competing, and called out, "Stop playing around, there's something here you two need to see."
The two, who were still in the drinking competition, clearly couldn't drink anymore. They felt relieved when Andy called them.
With slightly bloated stomachs, the two slowly walked towards Andy.
"What is it? I was about to win."
Although he couldn't continue, Stark remained stubborn.
And Ivan glanced at Stark disdainfully, "Weakling..."
Looking at the two who clearly couldn't drink anymore but were still trying to hold on,
Andy could only sigh helplessly and say, "These are the confessions Frank forced out of the attacker. I think you two might be interested."
Hearing that they were the attacker's confessions, both immediately became interested.
They picked up the documents Andy handed them and started reading. The more they read, the more serious they became.
HYDRA. What a distant name.
By the time they were born, this organization had already been destroyed.
It was eliminated by the legendary soldier, Captain America, leading his army. But in the documents, they saw information about HYDRA.
This made them feel incredible. Such an organization, even more insane than Terrorists, had not been destroyed but had merely gone underground in the World.
Thinking back to HYDRA's various insane actions during the war, both their faces suddenly changed. They both thought of a serious problem.
