Chapter 198 -  Ash: Rayquaza! Primal Reversion, You Two Idiots!

[Professor Oak]: "I'm actually quite curious about this so-called 'Pal' world. The name doesn't sound like something Arceus created."

Giovanni (main world): I'd like to know too…

[Blue]: "What I'm curious about is what Red will do next. Is he just going to charge in like before? Charizard's strong, sure—but those are Dialga and Palkia."

[Alder]: "And I've got a feeling Dialga and Palkia won't be the only gods showing up. With those two from Hoenn around, they might really bring out Groudon and Kyogre."

[Archie / Maxie]: "Don't insult Lord Kyogre (Groudon)!"

[Steven]: "No need to worry too much. Wherever Groudon and Kyogre appear—Rayquaza will follow."

[Alder]: "Rayquaza has bonus damage against idiots, right?"

[Professor Juniper]: "Legends do say that whenever those two clash, Rayquaza descends."

[Leon]: "But this is a different dimension. How would Rayquaza even get here?"

That question stumped everyone.

Unless—

Ash summoned it?

Ridiculous.

…Right?

And yet, after so many times saving the world—

Summoning Rayquaza didn't seem that impossible anymore.

In the Scene —

Two figures approached from mid-mountain.

One red. One blue.

"Figures. Team Rocket can't be relied on. We'll handle this."

"I'm busy expanding the seas for Lord Kyogre."

Maxie and Archie of this alternate world.

Hands in pockets.

Utterly unconcerned with Ash and Red.

They possessed divine power now.

Mere humans were beneath them.

Without another word, they raised their Orbs.

The Red Orb blazed like molten magma.

The Blue Orb shimmered like the deep sea.

"Witness the power of the world's creators!"

Maxie produced a strange sphere—

Not a Poké Ball.

Where Poké Balls represented technological limits—

This object radiated something closer to magic.

A Pal Sphere.

It split open midair.

In a burst of blue particles—

A scorching beam shot forward.

"ROOOAR!"

A presence like a living volcano descended.

Crimson body.

Massive spikes.

Grey underbelly.

Heat distorted the air itself.

Groudon.

"Lord Groudon! Accept my devotion!"

Maxie raised the Red Orb high.

Scarlet light enveloped the sky.

Even chaotic space was pushed aside.

Groudon expanded—

Molten veins igniting across its body.

Primal Reversion.

Desolate Land activated.

In a sunless world—

Groudon became the sun.

The earth cracked.

The world trembled.

A living volcano stood reborn.

Not to be outdone—

Archie mirrored the action.

The Pal Sphere opened.

A deep oceanic radiance flooded outward.

Even Desolate Land's heat was suppressed.

A colossal whale-like form emerged.

Kyogre.

But when it appeared—

It wasn't calm.

It was furious.

Archie lifted the Blue Orb.

"Lord Kyogre! Reveal your true form!"

Azure brilliance engulfed it.

Its body transformed—

Glowing yellow veins within translucent blue.

Four tail streamers unfurled.

Primal Kyogre.

Primordial Sea activated.

Black clouds swallowed the sky.

Rain became a torrential storm.

Within half a minute—

The mountain's base was submerged.

Two primal gods.

Two natural disasters.

And—

They immediately locked eyes.

"ROAR!" — You lookin' at me?

"WHOOOM!" — Yeah. What about it?

Before Ash or Red could even act—

The gods lunged at each other.

Volcano met tsunami.

The world darkened.

Armageddon.

Maxie and Archie panicked.

They raised their Pal Spheres desperately—

Trying to assert control.

But the spheres' influence was faint.

They could capture the gods—

But not command them.

Especially not in Primal form.

Now?

They were begging.

"Lord Kyogre (Groudon), please calm down!"

Their earlier arrogance—

Gone.

Replaced by frantic pleading.

Across worlds—

The Hoenn counterparts went numb.

Even they hadn't expected this level of unreliability.

At the summit—

Alternate Giovanni watched.

He had known they were unstable.

He hadn't expected this.

Still—

The apocalyptic clash below should stall Ash and Red.

That was enough.

He turned to the bound Dialga and Palkia, restrained by red chains.

"Cyrus. How long?"

"One hour. Just one more hour to fully open the gate to the 'Pal' world."

Giovanni frowned.

One hour was too long.

Especially against Red.

He stepped to the mountain path and released a Poké Ball.

A yellow-and-black striped figure hovered behind him.

"Old friend. Hopefully it won't come to you."

He adjusted his red tie.

Not nearly as calm as he looked.

Back at mid-mountain—

After minutes of struggle—

Kyogre and Groudon finally stopped trying to kill each other.

Now—

They turned toward Ash and Red.

The comedy portion was over.

This was war.

Red patted Mega Charizard X.

Even he felt pressure.

These were sentient gods in Primal form.

"Groudon! Precipice Blades!"

"Kyogre! Origin Pulse!"

The world moved.

Groudon slammed its arms down—

Magma surged—

Rows of colossal stone blades erupted toward Red!

Kyogre gathered oceanic power—

A concentrated torrent blasted toward Ash!

Red's mind sharpened.

Evade Kyogre.

Protect Ash.

This was divine power.

A single mistake—

And it was over.

But Ash?

Not a second of hesitation.

He raised one arm—

Pointing straight at the heavens.

And shouted with absolute conviction—

"RAYQUAZA!"

His eyes burned with determination—

Like someone about to swear an oath that would shake the world.

The storm clouds churned.

The sky—

Seemed to answer.
