Chapter 260 - Chapter 260 Ancient Winter Coffin

The Sea Monster Killer couldn't harm Ragnaros, but it was enough to catch his attention.

"Weakling worm! How dare you challenge the majesty of Ragnaros? You are seeking your own death."

Ragnaros glared at Salador, raised his hammer high, and roared, "Fire Elemental, destroy them."

Magma surged towards Vashj'ir, and countless Fire Sprites advanced through the lava. Blazing flames rained down from the sky, and Vashj'ir completely ignited, as if transforming into a city of fire.

Flashes of light continuously appeared on the dock, as the belated Mages quickly boarded the ships.

Salador brought the Sea Monster Killer's retrieval casing, jumped onto the cruiser behind him, and shouted, "Set sail!"

All ships started moving, departing from the port.

Vashj'ir was too large a target and was destined to be destroyed by Ragnaros. Salador merely accelerated this process, but he could draw Ragnaros's attention, making him ignore Gale's Tower.

Relatively speaking, Gale's Tower's importance far exceeded Vashj'ir's. Even if Vashj'ir's mines were far superior to Gale's Tower's, they couldn't compare to the stone well within Gale's Tower.

If Ragnaros obtained the Well of Eternity's water, it would greatly enhance his strength.

The fleet gradually moved further out to sea, but Salador still didn't forget to provoke, as the Sea Monster Killer continuously attacked the Fire Sprites. Whether they were Fire Elemental or Fire Sprite, if they were shot by the Sea Monster Killer, they were either dead or injured.

Gale hadn't expected that the weapon he designed to deal with the Naga witches would become a sharp tool against elemental creatures.

"Boom--"

A Rainbow Bridge came from the west and landed on Salador's flagship.

Gale looked at Ragnaros on the mountain, his brows furrowing.

If the Reality Gem still had energy, dealing with Ragnaros would be an easy task for him. If the Hammer of Kaz'goroth was still with him, dealing with Ragnaros wouldn't be difficult either.

But now, the Reality Gem had no energy, and the Hammer of Kaz'goroth had been given to Tydasshid, making it very difficult for him to deal with the Fire Lord.

"Your Majesty!"

Everyone bowed, and Antaria reported to Gale, "All the civilians of Vashj'ir have boarded, only those in the mining area have lost contact."

Gale's eyes were like torches, and he pointed at the Fire Sprites, saying, "They have perished. Kill those trolls and avenge the fallen!"

Salador immediately looked over, only to see a group of over a thousand Fire Trolls among the Fire Sprites. Trolls certainly weren't Fire Sprites; they must have been those troll slaves, promoted by Ragnaros to become Elemental Ascendants, thus becoming Fire Trolls.

"Kill them all!"

The Sentry Shooters immediately turned their ballistas towards the Fire Trolls. After a few volleys, the Fire Trolls directly collapsed; how could they resist the Sea Monster Killer's attacks?

Although Salador had misjudged Ragnaros, he hadn't killed the wrong targets by eliminating these Fire Trolls. The Fire Sprite Gehennas had captured them, transformed them into Ascendants, and used them to expand his army.

The Fire Sprites arrived at the port, pacing back and forth restlessly as they looked at the seawater. The seawater was too cold for them and would severely affect their strength.

Just then, the Fire Sprite Gehennas jumped into the seawater. Fire Sprites were amphibious; although they would also feel uncomfortable and weakened in the water, the impact would be much smaller than for other Fire Sprites.

Gehennas was a low-ranking officer; although very strong, he had never been promoted. Now that he finally had a chance to earn merit, he immediately seized it.

After capturing the trolls, he didn't kill them all, but rather killed a portion to establish his authority, and then brought the remaining trolls under his command. He believed that a thousand Fire Ascendants constituted a considerable force. However, before they even engaged in battle, they were wiped out by the elves.

Without an army, he could only enter the fray himself. After entering the water, he quickly approached the fleet.

But unfortunately, a Sea Monster Killer round pierced his head, turning his dream of promotion and wealth into a daydream.

Like demons, high-ranking Fire Elemental would also resurrect in the Fire Elemental Plane. But he was destined not to participate in this war.

Gale gave the tide stone to Antaria, "Temporarily send the civilians to Darkmoon City for resettlement. You all use the sea to hold off Ragnaros. Before I return, prioritize your own safety and do not put yourselves in danger."

Antaria: "Yes, Your Majesty!"

Gale summoned the Rainbow Bridge and left again; this time he arrived at Dragonblight. Gale needed an artifact that could deal with Ragnaros. The Guardian Dragons had many artifacts, perhaps they could provide one or two.

Alexstrasza learned of Gale's purpose and shook her head, saying, "You should go find Malygos; most of the artifacts are stored in The Nexus."

Saying this, Alexstrasza opened a portal to The Nexus.

Malygos was busy with the construction of The Nexus. Ever since the Well of Eternity exploded, Azeroth's Arcane Web had also shattered. Restoring the Arcane Web became the Blue Dragon's first priority. After inspecting the entire world's Arcane Web, Malygos believed that a new Arcane Web center should be built, and thus The Nexus was established.

To build The Nexus, Malygos had connected himself to the Focusing Iris, making him unable to disengage even to deal with Yogg-Saron.

Regarding Gale's visit, Malygos expressed his helplessness.

"Our artifacts are all being used in the construction of The Nexus and cannot be lent to you."

The Blue Dragon Queen Sindragosa walked over at this moment, "Gale, perhaps you can forge an artifact yourself."

Gale spread his hands helplessly, "But I have no idea how right now."

Sindragosa took out a box, "This is an ancient object we obtained during our battle with Galakrond. It was swallowed by Galakrond and fell out when Galakrond died in battle. It is filled with cold and, judging from the runes on it, seems to be related to the Old Gods. You were able to re-seal Yogg-Saron, so you should be able to use it."

Gale took the box and curiously examined it. It was indeed related to the Old Gods; the runes on it should be primitive Shadow Runes, of the titan runes level.

It felt icy cold to the touch, and it could indeed store cold air. It was indeed an item to deal with Ragnaros.

Moreover, its appearance was somewhat similar to Marvel's Ancient Ice Coffin.

Gale searched Norgannon's memories in his mind and quickly found a way to modify it.

"Thank you very much. It can indeed be crafted into an artifact to deal with the Fire Lord." Gale thanked Malygos and Sindragosa, "I need to forge the artifact as soon as possible and send the Fire Lord back to the Firelands."

Malygos: "It's good that we could help you. The construction of The Nexus leaves us no time for other matters, otherwise, we would definitely lend a hand."

Gale smiled, "You've already helped a great deal. If you need help, I can send some Liches over to assist you in building The Nexus."

Malygos shook his head, "We can still manage."

Clearly, he didn't want outsiders to interfere, to prevent the secrets of The Nexus from being leaked.
