Chapter 180 - Chapter 180 Luna's Revenge

After seeing Agamaggan off, Gale turned his gaze to Kazzak, but Kazzak had already run far away. Gale looked at Cenarius, "Why didn't you stop him?"

Cenarius wanted to say that his entire mind had been focused on Gale's battle just now. However, saying so would clearly not fit the image of a demigod.

"The flames from Mannoroth's death blocked my vision."

Gale said nothing. Although Kazzak was strong, he was only a Dread Lord, not worth a major fuss.

He raised the eternal spear and teleported Cenarius into Sin'dorei, then went to teleport other troops.

In the sky, the Dragon Legion was the king of aerial combat. With their powerful strength, they routed the Doom Guard Legion, quickly dominating the entire sky above Sin'dorei.

Without Deathwing's massacre, the Blue Dragon Legion became the main force in aerial combat. Their Arcane spells were excellent for both offense and defense, making it difficult for the Doom Guard to harm them.

If not for the large number of Fel Cannons within Sin'dorei City, Malygos would have probably led the Blue Dragon Legion to the Well of Eternity long ago.

Luna followed the Dragon Legion into aerial combat. Smaug's body was larger than that of an average adult dragon. However, the dragons were very disdainful of this shameless, mute dragon. In front of Luna, it was like a greedy hound, completely disgracing the dragons.

But the dragons also had to admit that Smaug was very powerful, and its cooperation with Luna was extremely tacit.

The Hurricane Crossbow also had immense power; wherever its arrows flew, a Doom Guard was sure to fall from the sky.

"Oh, roar—"

Smaug dove into a group of Doom Guards, and a single breath of dragonfire annihilated a dozen of them. Luna, with one foot wrapped around Smaug's reins, constantly shrieked as she spun her body, firing arrows.

Wherever they passed, no Doom Guard could safely remain in the sky.

Luna thoroughly enjoyed such an exciting battle, and Smaug also roared in excitement.

As she was cheering, Luna suddenly noticed a familiar-looking Dread Lord in the city, the very one who had schemed against her that day. She dropped her smile and vigorously patted Smaug's big head: "Let's go down!"

Smaug was puzzled; it had been sleeping that day and hadn't even woken up when the cave collapsed. However, it sensed Luna's anger and immediately dove down.

"Luna!" Ysera loudly warned, "There are Fel Cannons below."

Luna ignored her, raised the Hurricane Crossbow, aimed at the Dread Lord, and shot three arrows.

Varimathras felt the danger and immediately put up a Fel Shield, blocking the arrows. He looked up at the diving Smaug and a smirk appeared on his lips: "Aha—it's the Dragon Slayer Luna, long time no see."

Luna was furious and once again condensed energy to form three arrows. However, before the arrows could be fired, a Fel Cannonball hit Smaug, injuring it.

Smaug endured the pain, twisting its body in the air to shield Luna, allowing itself to crash onto a Mage Tower.

Luna was heartbroken, "Smaug, are you alright?"

Smaug struggled to get up, glanced at Luna, then abruptly turned its head and spat dragonfire at the approaching demons.

"Fall into slumber!"

Varimathras approached, simultaneously casting a Sleep spell on Smaug.

Smaug shook its head, trying to resist the drowsiness, but couldn't open its eyes. In a moment, Smaug lowered its head; although it could still hear sounds, its body stopped moving.

"Luna, I truly admire your courage, knowing there are so many Fel Cannons in the city, yet still daring to land. Though somewhat foolish, at least it's braver than those dragons."

Varimathras used magic to bind Luna's body before walking up to her.

He put on an admiring expression, "Azeroth is destined to be destroyed, and the elves will be no more. Join the Legion! The Master most admires warriors like you."

Luna glared at him, "Demon, I will kill you sooner or later."

"Tsk tsk…" Varimathras sounded a little regretful, "A captive should act like a captive. Now your fate is in my hands; no amount of stubbornness will change your outcome."

He clenched his fist slightly, and the magic binding Luna began to compress.

Luna cried out in pain from the magical pressure: "Ah—"

Smaug heard Luna's cry and tried hard to open its eyes. However, Varimathras reached out and intensified the Sleep spell, rendering Smaug's efforts futile.

"This is just a small punishment!"

Varimathras looked at Luna with disdain: "In my opinion, you are not a qualified warrior at all. Hatred has blinded you, making you foolish, and foolish people don't live long."

Luna gnashed her teeth, glaring at him, and struggled to break free from the bindings.

"Don't struggle, no one can escape my bindings."

Luna's angry expression suddenly vanished, and then she looked strangely at Varimathras's right rear, "I'm afraid you'll be disappointed."

Varimathras felt a premonition of danger and quickly turned his head.

But there was nothing to his right rear!

He'd been tricked!

Just as Varimathras was about to dodge, a flaming arrow pierced his chest. The flaming arrow was imbued with Sun Power, which perfectly countered the fel energy within him.

With the energy circulation disrupted, Varimathras's ongoing spell was interrupted.

Freed from the bindings, Luna shouted, "Smaug, Dragon Breath!"

Smaug suddenly leaped up, its large head nearing Varimathras, and spat a large stream of dragonfire. The dragonfire enveloped Varimathras, almost burning his body to a crisp.

Fortunately, Smaug's injuries shortened the duration of the dragonfire, giving Varimathras a chance to survive.

After enduring the dragonfire, Varimathras knelt on the ground, utterly weak.

Luna walked over, raised the Hurricane Crossbow, and pointed it at his head.

Varimathras quickly said, "Wait, I surrender, as long as you spare my life."

Luna sneered and pulled the trigger, piercing his skull.

Varimathras fell straight down, somewhat confused as to why Luna insisted on killing him.

Luna gave him the answer: "This arrow is for the fallen Kaldorei refugees."

Just for that?

Varimathras couldn't believe his ears. Just for those refugees? Were those refugees more important than him, a high-ranking general of the Legion?

In his confusion, Varimathras transformed into a swarm of bats and dissipated into the air.

Luna frowned slightly. Did Dread Lords not leave corpses when they died?

Salador led his troops rushing over, looking at her anxiously, "Luna, are you alright?"

Luna looked at him with a radiant smile, "I'm fine."

Salador sighed in relief, "It's good that you're alright."

Smaug, nearby, was filled with jealousy. It crawled a few steps forward, nudged Salador aside, and whined pitifully at Luna.

Luna quickly comforted it: "It's alright, I'll heal you very quickly."
