Life with two familiars was… complicated.
Yelena was clingy, smothering me with constant attention. Katie was protective, shadowing me like a thorn-covered guardian, never letting me take a step without reminding me how fragile she thought I was. Between the two of them, my house that once felt peaceful now felt like a battlefield.
Katie had a sweet, maternal way of speaking. Always gentle, always smiling. But behind that smile was iron resolve. She believed the world outside our walls was cruel, dangerous, and designed to hurt me. Every stranger was an enemy, every errand a risk. In her mind, only she could keep me safe.
When I protested, she would lower her gaze, her vines curling around my waist, her breasts pressing against my arm as she whispered, "Master, please don't put yourself in danger. Let me protect you. Let me be your shield."
The problem was, she wasn't asking.
One morning, I tried to slip out quietly. Just a simple trip to the market—bread, herbs, and lamp oil. Nothing dangerous. I figured if I left early enough, maybe I could avoid both of them.
But Katie was waiting by the door.
Her pink eyes were soft but unyielding as she blocked my path, her vines slowly creeping to close off the frame like bars of a cage. "Master, where are you going?"
I sighed. "Just the market. It's safe."
Her smile didn't falter, but her hand slid across my chest, pushing me gently back inside. "Nothing is safe. Even a trip to town could take you from me. I can't allow it."
"Katie—" I started, but her lips pressed against mine before I could finish.
Her kiss was slow, lingering, her tongue brushing softly against mine. Her vines wound around my wrists, not tight enough to hurt but firm enough to hold.
Before I knew it, she had guided my hands upward, pressing them against her chest.
Her breasts were enormous, warm and soft, filling my palms completely. She moaned softly into the kiss, her vines trembling as if the sensation was overwhelming her too.
"Stay here," she whispered against my lips. "Stay with me. Let me make you happy. The market doesn't need you. I do."
My heart pounded, my resolve crumbling under the heat of her body pressing against mine.
"…Fine," I muttered, flustered. "Just this once."
Her smile widened, victorious, as she nuzzled my cheek. "Good Master."
And just like that, I'd lost another battle.
Of course, Yelena wasn't blind to this. She hated it.
The two of them clashed constantly—sometimes in words, sometimes in glares, and sometimes in sheer physicality.
One night, after a long day of quests, I collapsed onto the couch, hoping for a moment's peace. But peace was a luxury I no longer had.
"Master," Yelena purred, immediately dropping onto the couch beside me, her tail wagging. "Come here. Let me cuddle you."
Before I could respond, Katie swept in from the other side, her vines wrapping gently around my shoulders. "No, Master. Rest against me. You'll be safer in my arms. I won't let anything harm you."
I tried to lean back, but both pressed closer, their breasts pushing against me from both sides, their glares locked on one another above my head.
"He belongs to me first," Yelena growled, her tail lashing against the cushions.
Katie's smile never faded, but her eyes sharpened dangerously. "A servant can be replaced. A shield cannot. I am what Master truly needs."
"Don't call me replaceable, you overgrown weed!" Yelena snapped, her claws flexing against the couch.
"And don't call me clingy, mutt," Katie shot back sweetly, her vines tightening around my waist.
I groaned, my face buried between their chests, muffled by the softness pressing from both sides. "Aren't I supposed to be the master here?"
Neither of them listened. Their argument escalated, my body squeezed tighter between fur and vines, my head spinning from the warmth, the scent, the suffocating softness engulfing me.
It wasn't a battle of blades or claws. It was a battle of devotion.
And I was the prize.
Two weeks passed in a blur of quests, meals, and arguments. Life with Yelena and Katie was never dull. I had grown used to their constant bickering, their possessive glares, their suffocating devotion. But even I wasn't prepared for what I woke up to that morning.
Warmth pressed against me from both sides. I blinked, groggy, only to freeze when I realized I wasn't alone in my bed.
Yelena lay on my right, silver hair spilling across the sheets, her golden eyes half-lidded with hunger. On my left was Katie, her vine-like hair curling lazily around my arm, her pink eyes glowing with the same intent.
Both of them were naked.
My breath caught in my throat as I sat up, only for Yelena to straddle my waist, her tail wagging eagerly. "Master…" she purred, leaning down to kiss my throat. "I want you. I need you."
Katie slid closer, her soft chest pressing against my arm as she whispered, "Master, don't waste yourself on a mutt. Let me show you how it feels to be cherished. Let me shield you with my body."
Yelena hissed, pulling me closer into her arms. "He doesn't need a shield—he needs love. My love!"
Katie's vines wrapped tighter around me, tugging me into her embrace. "Love means nothing if he isn't safe. And only I can guarantee that."
Their eyes met, and fire sparked between them.
"Who's sexier, Master?" Yelena demanded, arching her back to push her breasts against me. "My face, my boobs, my ass, my thighs—they're all yours!"
Katie smirked sweetly, but her tone dripped venom. "Please. My curves, my softness, my blossoms—no man could resist me. Not even Master."
The bed shook as they began shoving against each other, their bodies pressing tighter into mine. My head spun as their words escalated.
"Better wife material? Me, obviously!" Yelena snapped, her tail smacking against Katie's hip.
"Ha! You can't even keep him fed," Katie retorted, curling a vine around my leg possessively. "A wife cares for her husband, body and soul. And that's me."
It was suffocating. Their warmth, their arguments, their absolute fixation—it was like drowning in devotion.
I finally snapped. "Enough!"
Both froze, their eyes flicking to me, their chests heaving with heat and fury.
I glared at them. "You two are driving me insane. You're both important to me, but this fighting has to stop. Find some common ground. Work together. Because when I come back, I want to see you two getting along."
Yelena pouted, Katie tilted her head with a deceptively sweet smile, but neither argued.
"...Fine," Yelena muttered.
"If that's what Master wants," Katie cooed.
I got dressed quickly, desperate to escape the tension.
The guild was loud as usual, but today felt heavier. Whispers followed me as I entered, the weight of dozens of eyes on my back. I ignored them and stepped to the quest board.
That's when I heard the laughter.
"Well, look who it is."
I froze. That voice.
I turned and saw them.
Hadrick, Serena, Liliana—my old party. My betrayers.
The knight smirked, his flask clutched in one hand. "Still breathing, huh? Guess the wolves weren't hungry enough."
Serena leaned against the counter, her painted lips twisting. "Surviving on scraps, as usual. Beast Tamer suits you. Nothing but dirty pets to keep you company."
Liliana crossed her arms, her eyes gleaming with cruel satisfaction. "The guild should've struck your name off the rolls. You're a liability."
Their words cut deep, sharper than blades.
Around me, I felt the weight of the other adventurers' silence. Pity hung heavy in their eyes. They didn't laugh with my old party, but they didn't speak for me either. Not one of them.
My fists clenched, but I turned away. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of seeing me break.
I took a quest slip from the board and walked out, their laughter echoing behind me.
When I returned home, dread sat heavy in my chest. I expected more arguing. More jealousy. More suffocation.
Instead, I froze at the door.
The sound of laughter drifted out—light, melodic, and strangely warm.
I stepped inside. Yelena and Katie sat together on the couch, their bodies relaxed, their faces glowing with amusement. For the first time since they met, they were smiling at each other.
"What… happened?" I asked cautiously.
Yelena grinned, sliding up beside me and clutching my arm. "We talked."
Katie wrapped a vine around my waist, pulling me close as she giggled softly. "We realized something, Master."
They both leaned in, their voices overlapping.
"We love you."
"We want to protect you."
Yelena's tail wagged, Katie's blossoms swayed, and their gazes locked on me with unified fire.
"And together," Katie whispered, her vines stroking across my chest, "we can protect and love you better than either of us could alone."
Yelena nodded firmly. "You'll never be alone. We'll always keep you safe. Always keep you happy. Together."
I swallowed hard, a chill running down my spine despite their warm smiles.
This wasn't peace. This wasn't reconciliation.
This was a truce.
An alliance of thorns and fangs, all wrapped around me.
"Of course…" I muttered. "Of course you did."
They leaned closer, their voices in unison. "Master, what happened at the guild today?"
I shook my head quickly. "Nothing worth mentioning. Just noise. What matters is we've got a mission tomorrow."
Their eyes narrowed with suspicion, but they didn't press. Instead, they pulled me down onto the couch between them, their bodies curling around mine in perfect, suffocating harmony.
I should've felt relief.
But as their warmth pressed against me, I realized something terrifying—
Together, they were even more dangerous than apart
