The air inside the dungeon felt fresh and cold. It made me feel woken up, and I inhaled the fresh air to get my nerves under control.
The bottle in my pocket wiggled, and I opened it to let Kuro out of the cage I was keeping it in.
"I am freeing you now. But if you betray me, then that would be the last thing you ever do."
I told Kuro, and he scoffed at my words.
"Don't worry, human. Betraying you is the last thing I want to do. Let me take a look around so that I can familiarize myself with this dungeon… Hmmm, how interesting. This energy in the air feels very… familiar."
Kuro sounded genuinely surprised to feel the air around, and I watched as his eyes widened as he looked in a single direction.
He started to walk, and I grabbed hold of his collar before he could go too far.
That snapped Kuro out of the daze he was in, and he shook his head with a slight frown on his face.
