Lucas (excited): "Deal! I know a karaoke place nearby; it could be fun."
Mateus (looking at Claws): "And you're coming with us, right? No excuses this time."
Claws (taking a deep breath, then smiling slightly): "…Okay. I'll go."

Class ends. They walk together, laughing and playfully arguing down the street.

Rafaela (laughing loudly): "Wow, violence! Report him!"
Lucas (singing off-key): "A² + B² = C², it's love…"
Isa (holding back laughter): "Oh my God, Lucas, shut up before someone calls the police."
They arrive at the karaoke, a small, somewhat hidden place, with colorful lights and the smell of fried food in the air.

In the reserved room, they start singing and letting loose.
Diego (holding the microphone, theatrical): "Ladies and gentlemen, the next song will destroy hearts!"

Rafaela (shouting): "I want to dance, not sing! Play funk!"
Mateus (trying to suggest something calm): "Guys, let's pick something decent…"
Lucas: "Rock!"
Everyone together: "NOOOO!"
The room turns into chaos. Claws, leaning against the wall, watches his friends. He even lets out a few quiet laughs. For the first time, he seems to forget the weight he carries.

Lucas: "I can already imagine us doing this in third year too. It's going to be awesome."
Mateus (looking at Claws): "So, finally enjoying yourself?"
Claws (with a sincere but restrained smile): "Yes. You guys are the good part of my day."
A brief silence falls over the table. They understand the weight behind the words, but no one pushes.
Diego (breaking the mood): "Look at that, the tough guy confessing! I should record this."
Claws (playfully threatening): "Record it and I'll break your phone."
Everyone bursts into laughter.

Late at night, the group goes home. Each heads to their own house, sending messages in the chat, laughing about the songs and teasing each other.
Claws walks alone through some darker streets. His smile slowly fades as he notices figures watching from a distance — members of the rival gang.
He doesn't react, just slips his hands into his pockets and keeps walking. The shadow of the street seems to swallow the smile he had.
