Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Shaman King

"The essence of advancement rituals lies in maintaining sufficient rationality, but I can ignore this constraint because it stems from changes brought about by my transmigration. Although I'm using characteristics from other pathways to undergo qualitative transformation and accommodation, as long as it remains within the framework of uniqueness, there's no need to worry about initial pollution."

"These low-sequence Beyonder characteristics are perfectly suited to my symbolism and authority. Middle and low sequences are manageable, but high-sequence characteristics won't be so easy to obtain."

"Despair Witch... now why would witch characteristics exist? Is it because of mastering authority related to mirror domains? If I accommodate this characteristic, I shouldn't undergo a sex change, right?"

The thought made Nimrod feel a chill in his crotch, as if he could see Chick from the depths of the star realm waving and smiling: "Oh my, you've come too."

"Ancient Scholar characteristics—apart from Zaratul, the Secret Order should have them. Finding high-sequence Beyonders of the Seer pathway won't be easy either."

"George III will soon hold the Black Emperor ritual. Perhaps I can use this opportunity to detonate William I's gold coin."

"Speaking of which, that 0-08... according to the current timeline, its holder Ince Zangwill is currently in Tingen City. Maybe I can settle for second best, using this writer characteristic to replace the Mercury Snake characteristic."

A smile curved Nimrod's lips as he laughed softly. "If I can't explode your humanity side's gold coin, can't I explode your divinity side's gold coin?"

He didn't care about the changes that destroying Adam's schemes would cause, but obtaining that writer characteristic would be extremely difficult with his current strength. Besides Adam, the Goddess of Night was also orchestrating this incident.

Unless he found sufficient allies—ones capable of delaying both the Goddess of Night and Adam.

"The God of War would be a good choice. His contradictions with the Night are irreconcilable. I could also utilize the contradictions between the Eternal Blazing Sun and Adam, but how can I—someone branded with outer god labels—persuade them?"

"Hmm, Azik Eggers is connected to that Death uniqueness's whereabouts. I could work from that angle. As for the Eternal Blazing Sun, his performance in the original work was minimal—practically nonexistent. I can't place my hopes of confronting Adam on him, especially since this writer characteristic is something he needs too."

"Forget it, I'll take things one step at a time. Right now, the priority is increasing my strength and gathering enough anchors. First, I'll gather the Abraham family members and obtain the remaining sealed artifacts in their possession. I'll have them secretly spread my name and doctrines in the shadows."

"These Abrahams enjoy taking outsiders as students—heh, that's quite a network of connections."

Nimrod chuckled softly, left the illusory mirror kingdom, and reopened his eyes.

Just as he straightened his wrinkled suit, preparing to use his bloodline connection to begin wandering, his angelic spiritual intuition made him look toward the curtain-blocked path leading to the plantation garden.

There stood an elderly man in a black hooded robe, his face pale and aged. The old man was bent like straw about to break in the wind, seemingly ready to shatter at any moment yet stubbornly walking toward the manor step by step.

Perceiving the old man's figure, Nimrod's eyes narrowed slightly. His powerful angelic spiritual intuition told him this was a demigod, and within that old man's body resided a moon—a blood-red full moon.

As if realizing something, he sighed and gently raised his right hand. A burst of brilliant starlight suddenly flashed, illuminating the dim study.

Outside the manor, the demigod walking along the road suddenly froze. He discovered in terror that his body was beyond his control—a powerful force had instantly suppressed all his Beyonder abilities.

Then he felt the world spinning and found himself in a study, standing before Nimrod.

This was the Planeswalker's ability. Nimrod had used his angelic position to forcibly teleport this demigod before him.

"Shaman King Klarman?"

Looking at the old man, Nimrod directly stated his identity.

"Yes, Your Highness. Being able to see you is my honor, great son of god, favored one of the Primordial Moon."

Hearing his identity exposed, Klarman showed no panic. Instead, he knelt on both knees and, under Nimrod's confused expression, began kissing his shoe tips.

"Damn, these are leather shoes I bought last month—Honachis wild buffalo leather, high-grade goods worth 10 pounds of Ruen gold per pair. After you lick them like this, can I still wear them?"

With a disgusted expression, Nimrod withdrew his right foot, cleared his throat, and asked in an indifferent tone: "Did mother send you? What instructions does she have? Why not speak to me directly?"

Hearing the divine soul's triple question from the son of the god he believed in, Klarman maintained his kneeling prayer posture and replied respectfully: "Respected Highness, I received the divine oracle last night, uh..."

Klarman paused, lifted his head to look at the young, handsome youth, then continued: "Your Highness should be clear about god's will. It concerns the Earth Mother Church and the blood race matter."

"Mm, I know. What else?"

"Apart from this, my lord's divine oracle also instructed that Your Highness should be careful of the PMother Tree of Desire worshipped by the Rose School of Thought and their current leader, divine offspring Suah."

"Rose School of Thought?"

Hearing Klarman's answer, Nimrod raised an eyebrow. "I remember you're also in this organization. Do they have some contradiction with us?"

"Yes, Your Highness. I am indeed a member of the Rose School of Thought, but unlike those different species and demons, we members who believe in the lord are not valued—we even have irreconcilable contradictions with them in certain aspects."

"In the Rose School of Thought, there's a distinction between the Indulgence faction and the Temperance faction. With the Temperance faction leader's disappearance years ago and the Indulgence faction's suppression and elimination of Temperance members, the current Rose School's true power holders are a group of lunatics led by Suah who worship the PMother Tree of Desire."

"The struggle between the Fallen Mother Goddess and the PMother Tree of Desire. The latter seems to have occupied a portion of Moon Sequence 1 characteristics and can use its position to influence Moon pathway sequencers."

Nimrod nodded slightly, looked at Shaman King Klarman making prayer gestures on the ground, then continued: "How much power do we currently have? I mean high-sequence Beyonders who believe in the Primordial Moon that can be mobilized."

He didn't take the struggle between the Fallen Mother Goddess and PMother Tree of Desire to heart. What concerned him now was how much cannon fodder was under his command.

Hearing the son of god's inquiry, Klarman dared not neglect and respectfully answered: "Apart from me, there are two other demigods in the Southern Continent. One is a Classical Alchemist, the other a Corpse Bearer. They each individually manage regional cults."

"Unless there are major matters or divine oracle transmissions, we only meet on each full moon night, mutually conveying our devout faith to our lord."

"As for the Northern Continent, we cannot infiltrate too deeply. We only have one demigod in Intis—a Summoning Master, a vampire marquis. He was attacked by an Eternal Blazing Sun Church archbishop in his early years, suffering severe trauma with greatly reduced lifespan. To survive, he abandoned his faith in Lilith and converted to believing in our lord, obtaining the same grace as me."
