Andrea was never a fan of makeup or extremely tight dresses, she couldn't even breath properly but if all this made her friend happy so be it.
Andrea stood in front of the full length mirror, scanning her powered face. She had to admit, charlotte did an excellent job on her makeup. She looks absolutely gorgeous,Andrea's curly hair was packed into a sleek ponytail leaving few strands to frame her diamond like face, her lips were painted red matching her red shiny mid length dress.
Charlotte wasn't kidding when she told Andrea she would look like a hundred bucks.
The dress felt both itchy and uncomfortable but for the sake of charlotte happiness, she couldn't complain.
"It's just for tonight"she assured herself. Andrea was about to take another look at herself in the mirror when charlotte voice chimed in.
"Enough self admiring,It's my turn, move"charlotte exclaimed, playfully pushing Andrea out of the bathroom as she started applying powder on her face, the floral scent filling the room.
With a chuckle,Andrea exited the bathroom and settled on her bed bringing out her phone to check her notifications but she had none,it was always that way with Andrea.
She has nobody except charlotte, charlotte has been her only friend for as long as she could remember.
An idea popped to her head as she kept scrolling through Facebook. Her mind went back to the man charlotte kept yapping about. 'Liam Walton'
The sound of her keyboard filled the air as she searched his name in the search bar,a series of accounts popped up on her screen.
They all looked like fan accounts because they all had the same profile picture, she clicked on the first one zooming in the picture.
She was quite impressed with what she saw,she hated to admit it but she has never come across any man this good looking in her 25 years on earth.
He has the looks of a Greek good, his piercing black eyes held no emotion, his black hair perfectly styled,no stray strand spotted. A small smile was plastered on his thin lips, not reaching his eyes.
Andrea couldn't tear her eyes off the screen of her phone. How can a man look so good? She now understands why her friend got so excited at the mention of his name.
He is probably one of those proud rich men who are too full of themselves, she thought to her self as her eyes kept scanning the picture.
"How do I look" charlotte asked, startling Andrea, she was too lost in the picture, she didn't notice charlotte enter the bedroom.
The fruity smell of cologne hit her nostrils as her eyes scanned charlotte. She looked absolutely stunning
Her long brown hair was straightened, left to cascade down her back, her makeup looked a bit heavy, her pink heart sharped lips were extra glossy, her eye liner was drawn thin giving her brown eyes an almond shape and lastly her dress. It was a black off shoulder mid length dress that hugged her curves perfectly.
Words couldn't describe how beautiful charlotte looked.
"Who let the angel out of heaven?,you look absolutely stunning"Andrea praised, earning herself a wide smile from charlotte.
"Let's go"charlotte said excitedly, dragging Andrea out of the apartment.
She halted a taxi and they both got in.
…
The taxi stopped in front of a small building. The cold breeze slapped Andrea's skin, sending shivers down her spine as she gazed at the building in sight.
'Walt's bar'was written on top of the building in big bold letter. Blue and red light flashed from inside the building, making Andrea nervous,in front of them stood a long line.
"Follow my lead"charlotte said, holding Andrea's hand as she walked past the people in the line.
"Get back to the back of the line"A man's voice boomed from behind them.
They turned their head to see where the voice came from. It was a huge looking man who looked to be in his early thirties, his muscles pulped out of his black shirt,in his hand was a black gun.
Fear set in as Andrea watched the huge looking man walk towards them, his steps slow, his face rough, holding no emotion. Andrea feared what the man walking towards them was capable of doing.
The crowd in the line looked unbothered, paying them no attention. Some were too busy staring at the screens of their phone while some were making small talks with each other.
she looked beside her to see a smiling charlotte.
"Get back to the back of the line ladies" the voice sounded again but this time,he was standing right in front of them, earning himself whispers from the crowd. Everyone's attention was now fixed on them.
"I'm Charlotte Vince and this is my associate Andrea jones"Charlotte introduced, stretching her hand for a hand shake and to Andrea's surprise, the man in front of them took charlotte's hand.
"We came from New York and we have a business proposal for master Liam Walton,a proposal that could change this whole bar and not only that but it will also be beneficial to the workers"she continued with a smile.
Andrea stood still next to charlotte, her mind racing with confusion,as she watched a small smile appear on the man's lips.
"I'm Louise, the bars bouncer"he spoke softly, his voice no longer holding a loud tone.
"Nice to meet you Louise, could you please direct my associate and I to the vip lounge,we were told that's where our meeting will be taking place"
"May I see your ID? Please"Louise asked nicely
"One minute"charlotte searched through the small black purse in her hand, she brought out a black and yellow card and showed Louise,a smile appeared on his lips as he scanned the card with his eyes.
"Right this way miss"he said, leading charlotte and Andrea inside the bar leaving the crowd in shock as some yelled behind them.
"This should be illegal"a voice yelled
"You can't just cut them to the front of the line,it's not fair" another yelled
"I've been standing here for an hour and they just got here, this is bullshit"
The voices faded as they made their way inside the club.
Red and blue lights flashed as bodies moved excitedly to the loud booming music, the smell of alcohol heavy in the air.
Andrea's eyes moved around the bar, this is her first time in a bar and she feels suffocated by the crowd and smell of alcohol.
Her eyes landed on the ladies dancing half naked and the men lavishly throwing bundles of cash at them like they were worthless.
That is the problem with wealthy people, they always feel like they own the world with their luxurious lives,it's sad and pathetic how they will never be able to look past the money they have. Andrea thought as she tore her eyes off them.
As they made their way further into the bar,the people started to reduce and the music fading down as Louise led them up the stairs. They stopped in front of a black door 'VIP' boldly written on it.
Louise brought out a small black card from his pocket and pointed it at the door handle,it opened immediately and they both got in.
"I asked to be left alone"a voice yelled, his face red with rage.
