Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Are You from Team Rocket?

"Mr. Cyrus, please think carefully. Otherwise…"

"I would be very disappointed."

Jimo spread his hands casually, his tone relaxed as he addressed **Cyrus**.

Though his words sounded light, no one present dared to dismiss them. Instead, the tension in the air only grew heavier.

Even Cyrus himself suppressed the rejection that was on the tip of his tongue.

The reason was simple—**power**.

The man before them possessed strength far beyond anyone else present.

---

As he waited, Jimo studied the members of **Team Galactic**, especially Cyrus himself.

Jimo was not from this world. In his previous life, he had lived on a world called Aquamarine. After an accident, he found himself reborn here, in the world of Pokémon.

And the man before him—Cyrus—was just as he had learned from his past life.

A man without a heart.

A man without emotion, who faced all things with cold, logical words and actions.

Even confronted with Jimo's **Garchomp**, baring its fangs and claws at his side, Cyrus showed not the slightest change in expression.

---

Jimo wasn't worried. He remained relaxed, confident that his earlier declaration would force Cyrus and Team Galactic to submit to him.

For although Cyrus lacked emotions, Jimo knew that the man had ambition—an obsession.

And to realize that obsession, he had to survive.

That was why Jimo wasn't panicking.

Even if Cyrus refused to yield…

At worst, Jimo could simply kill him.

What he wanted was Team Galactic as a whole—Cyrus himself was not irreplaceable.

---

Unlike Jimo's calm composure, the other **Commanders** were visibly shaken.

His white coat billowed in the snow, his aura detached and overwhelming.

"Damn it… where did this guy come from?!" **Mars** hissed through gritted teeth. "How dare he act so arrogant!"

She had lived in Sinnoh for years, yet had never heard of anyone like this.

Normally, she would have rushed forward to put such a brat in his place—to show him the cruelty of the world.

But not this time.

The only reason she was holding back was simple: she knew she couldn't win.

---

The three Commanders—**Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn**—glanced nervously at the shattered forest around them.

The landscape was a ruin, the ground scarred by craters from Garchomp's *Draco Meteor*.

Their throats tightened as they imagined what would have happened if even one of those meteors had landed closer to them.

They shuddered.

They would have been reduced to dust.

As Galactic Commanders, they were used to clashing with the Pokémon League, even holding their own against the Elite Four.

But this…

"This is champion-level power…" the thought echoed in all their minds.

And that realization terrified them.

---

A Champion.

One of the few individuals at the very peak of the Pokémon world.

That was the level of strength they were facing.

When had such a person appeared in Sinnoh? And how had they never heard of him?

The three Commanders exchanged tense glances.

They were proud, arrogant even. They would not bow down simply because of a few words.

A sharp light gleamed in their eyes—they were preparing to attack.

Their hands slid toward their Poké Balls.

But just as they were about to strike…

A gentle voice cut through the icy wind.

---

"A word of advice—don't do anything foolish."

"Otherwise… I can't promise what he'll do."

"Believe me, that's an outcome none of you want to see."

Though the voice was calm and almost conversational, the meaning behind it made the Commanders' blood run cold.

They had been discovered.

Their hearts sank.

---

At that moment, Garchomp's gaze sharpened.

Its oppressive aura and killing intent pressed down on them like a storm.

Even hardened veterans like the three Galactic Commanders trembled under the dragon's glare.

**Saturn**'s face twisted. He had seen many powerful Pokémon before, but never one this terrifying.

"Even the Sinnoh Champion's Garchomp…" he thought bitterly, "can't be stronger than this."

Crushed beneath Jimo's "gentle" words and Garchomp's not-so-gentle intimidation, the three Commanders slowly withdrew their hands from their Poké Balls.

Still glaring at Jimo, Saturn finally spoke.

"Who the hell are you?"

---

"Hm? Who do you think I am?"

Jimo finally shifted his attention away from Cyrus, raising his brows at Saturn. He was already treating these Commanders as his soon-to-be subordinates.

Yes—he was certain of it.

Team Galactic would belong to him.

Not even Arceus could change that.

---

"Since you're not with the League, then who are you?" Saturn pressed. "What organization stands behind you?"

He refused to believe someone this strong was acting alone.

There had to be a powerful group supporting Jimo—perhaps even stronger than Team Galactic itself.

How else could he have infiltrated their communications so easily?

How else could he stand here so confidently?

No… there had to be an organization.

And in Saturn's mind, one possibility loomed larger than all others.

His eyes widened, his voice dropping low.

"Could it be… **Team Rocket**?!"

---

The thought hit him like lightning.

The villains of Hoenn—the Aqua and Magma Teams—were too busy fighting one another.

As for other regions like Unova or Kalos—they were too distant.

Only one group fit the bill.

The Kanto-based Rockets.

Not only were they powerful, they were even more notorious than Galactic. Their ambitions could no longer be contained within Kanto—so it was natural they would turn their sights on Sinnoh.

Saturn felt certain he had guessed correctly.

---

But Jimo only stared at him in stunned silence.

Then, slowly, he began to laugh.

"Hahahaha…"
