Pokémon World — Sinnoh Region
The Sinnoh region lies in the northernmost part of the Pokémon world, where the latitude is high and the climate cold.
It is winter, and most of Sinnoh is blanketed in snow. This forest is no exception.
In such conditions, unless one has a special purpose—such as training their Pokémon—few would venture deep into this dangerous forest.
Yet today, this usually inaccessible forest received a group of unexpected visitors.
"Garchomp! Draco Meteor!"
Accompanied by a deep and commanding young voice, a terrifying dragon's roar echoed through the still forest.
"ROAARRR!!!"
The earth-shaking cry made the silent woods tremble. Pokémon hidden within fled in terror from the overwhelming Dragon-type aura.
Then, a glowing meteor formed in the sky, rising high before exploding with a thunderous bang.
Countless blazing meteors rained down like a true shower of falling stars—beautiful to behold, yet carrying a deadly, destructive intent.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!"
In an instant, the forest quaked under the impact. The shockwaves tore through the trees, mixing with icy wind and shards of snow that stung against the skin like needles.
A group of people in silver-gray uniforms shielded themselves from the onslaught, squinting through the mist.
Among them was Mars, a Team Galactic Commander. She clenched her teeth, eyes narrowing as she stared at the white silhouette emerging through the storm.
Who is that?!
Mars was one of Team Galactic's top executives, serving the mysterious leader Cyrus. Earlier, she had suddenly received an order to gather in this secluded forest.
It seemed strange that Cyrus would choose such an isolated place without warning—but given his secretive, ghostlike nature, she and the other commanders had learned not to question his orders.
Still, she hadn't expected to be confronted by such a terrifying opponent the moment she arrived.
Her face turned grim.
Even through the blizzard and debris, the sheer pressure radiating from that figure was undeniable.
The oppressive Dragon aura weighed heavily on her chest.
At last, the storm began to settle. Snow drifted lazily from above, no longer obscuring their view.
The Galactic members stood battered and disheveled, but alive.
Their mysterious opponent, a young man accompanied by a mighty Garchomp, looked on with satisfaction.
He began to clap slowly.
"Not bad," he said with a faint smile. "To remain even somewhat calm in this situation… Congratulations. You've passed my test."
Mars scowled, her crimson eyes narrowing.
"A… test?"
She looked at the cratered battlefield around her—the trees shattered, the ground torn apart as though by falling meteorites. Her pulse quickened, her breath misting in the freezing air.
That was just a test?
Her voice was sharp as she demanded:
"Who the hell are you? Why are you here? Don't tell me you're with the Pokémon League!"
The young man arched a brow, his smile turning cold.
"Don't insult me by comparing me to those pitiful League dogs, Commander Mars."
The atmosphere grew tense.
Sensing his master's irritation, Garchomp's crimson eyes burned with killing intent, glaring down at Mars.
Her breath caught in her throat, panic seizing her as she stumbled back a step.
The stranger's smile widened.
"As for why I'm here… Well, that's a good question."
He gestured around them.
"Didn't you find it odd? That sudden message calling you here—to such a desolate place?"
Commander Saturn, who had been silent until now, suddenly stiffened. His pupils shrank as a dreadful realization struck him.
"Wait… you mean… you're the one who sent that message?!"
His face paled. "That's impossible!"
He stared at the man in disbelief. For someone to infiltrate Team Galactic's secure communication network—unthinkable!
Their organization was a force rivaling the League, hidden in the shadows of Sinnoh. Such a feat should have been impossible.
But the man only laughed softly.
"This world is vast. Nothing is impossible. The only reason you're so shocked… is because your perspective is too small."
Just as he was preparing to continue his display of dominance, another figure finally stepped forward.
He had been standing silently at the back until now, calm and unreadable. His eyes were like still water as he fixed his gaze on the intruder.
"Enough games," he said flatly. "Tell us. What is your true purpose here?"
The young man's expression darkened, then twisted into a sharp grin.
"My purpose?" He spread his arms wide.
"Simple.
Submit to me… Team Galactic!!!"
