"What is this?"
"What.....?" Vernon said nonchalantly as if he didn't abduct her there.
"I cannot be in the same place as you! I am leaving!" Raina made to leave,but Vernon easily spun her around. "Let go, you bastard!" Anger bubbled deep from within her soul.
He ended their relationship in a cruel way.He made it crystal clear that he was done with
her and wanted her out of his life.What then was all this? Why did he appear all of a sudden,to break her again?
Raina did not care that they were getting attention.She wanted to get as far away as possible from him.They were all coming back.The last scene of their breakup.The hurt.
"Still as childish as ever." Vernon scolded,his voice laced with annoyance.He easily restrained her hands by holding them tightly.He pressed her body to his quite intimately. "You are about to be the global ambassador to SILVERIST." He tsked. "Do not tell me you will chose to lose that because of an irrelevant past?"
'Irrelevant past?' that was the phrase he used to describe it.Raina clenched her fists to rein in the different emotions coursing through her at that moment.
"They seem close!"
"Is she his girlfriend?"
"But I thought he was dating that supermodel.What was her name? Astrid Neol?"
The people around which were employees of SILVERIST whispered watching the scenerio playing in front of their very eyes.
Raina and Vernon were in an eye lock.One eyes held too many sad emotions and the other pair was simply blank.Yulia Silver made to intercede but was cut off by Raina who marched off towards the exit.
Vernon followed in a few long strides and intercepted Raina.Throwing her small slender frame over his broad shoulder.His movements was so fast and precise that Raina did not see it coming much less fight him.
Gasps of surprise were heard.This was fire hot entertainment breaking news! But no one dared take out a phone to film it.If she was his secret girlfriend and he did not want her face out on the internet,he could sue them.
"Let me down! Let me down bastard!" Raina shouted as she kept on hitting his back.But her fist blows were like a pat to Vernon who kept on walking.He did not bring her here to have her walk away without doing what he brought her for.
Vernon went into the elevator with Luke, leaving Yulia and her entourage who were also supposed to ride it with them looking like fools.He knew his way around the company although he had only been there once before.
He put Raina down inside the elevator and was met with a slap that sent his face whipping to the side.The metallic taste of blood greeted his taste buds.Luke was petrified.He should have just stayed out there like Yulia and the others.
"What is the meaning of this you bastard! Let me out of this place right now!" She had a premiere to prepare for.Her very first one at that!
"You are not going anywhere until we are done here."
Vernon said calmly but death certainly,he slowly wiped the blood from the corner of his lips that was drawn from her slap.There was a frosty glint in his eyes.One she had never seen before.
"You just need to take a few pictures Miss.I will drive you back after we are done.It won't take time I promise" Luke stepped in to calm the situation.
"I do not need your promises,I just want to get out of here!" Raina said with a fiery tone that almost mad Luke flinch.
