She was shoved into the backseat.The car door slammed shut by her abductor.
Raina struggled to open the door without success.Her abductor got in on the driver seat and started driving away.
After a few minutes of futile attempt to open the car door or kill the glass, and getting answer as to why she wasn't restraint,Raina slumped back into the black leather seat.The adrenaline? All gone.Leaving despondency.
Raina had never noticed that she was not alone in the back passenger seat until a deep voice spoke "Are you done?"
She had almost let out a scream of fright but quickly held it in.A pair of long legs stretched out towards the front seat.Feet clad in expensive sneakers.Black pants, leather jacket.Same colour.
He was seated on the far end.His face out the window.The colour of his clothes blended so well with the black leather seat.No wonder she hadn't noticed him.
"Who are you? Why have you kidnapped me?" Raina queried.
"Keep it down. I am getting a migraine." He sounded slightly irritated.
"Keep it down?" Raina snorted. "Kidnapping is illegal you bastard!"
"I will let you go when we are done Raina so now please be quiet."
That was when she noticed that his voice sounded oddly familiar.Too alike to someone she used to know.She shifted closer and pulled his face from the direction of the window.Raina froze at the face that stared back at her.His beautiful eyeballs framed by slanted eyelids.
Vernon flung her lightly back onto the seat.Swallowing a lump in his throat.
"Vern?" Raina called in a shaky voice.Who would not be emotionally shaken seeing someone their heart onced belong to?
Raina soon realized that she made a mistake.She shouldn't have called him that.
Vern.That was a nickname she used to call him when they were still-- No! When she was in love with him.She immediately changed her question as it clicked in her mind that he was the one who sent the guy in the driver seat to abduct her.
"Y-You were the one who kidnapped me?" She asked.
He didn't say anything and that pissed her off.Raina was not cool with being in the same space as him.Not after their past.

"Keep it down or you wouldn't like what I would do to make you." He threatened in a calm voice.The glint in his eyes capable of sending chills done anyone's spine.
"What the hell are you going to do,huh,huh?" She was curious to know as there was nothing he could do that would hurt her more than he had already done in the past.
"We are here." The driver announced.Stopping in front of a huge skycraper building.Its big sign letters read SILVERIST. What were they doing here? And the driver.She knew him.He once saved her from a bunch of hoodlums and she prayed to see him again.Who would have thought the guy who onced saved her would also abduct her?
"Take off your mask." Vernon said before getting out.
The car door was opened by men in dark corporate suits.Raina quickly got down from also.The well known designer company dazzled magnificently before her eyes.
The Ceo and brand founder herself,Yulia Silver came out to greet them personally.Raina was sensible not to act like a geek and went on with the whole series of pleasantries even though she didn't know why she was there.Most of it towards Vernon.Yulia seemed particularly fond of him.A little too much.Vernon kept a straight face at the woman's open rizz.
"Let us get on with it.I don't have all day." Vernon said in a lazy voice.
