In this world, abstracts are not ephemeral. Courage, Despair, Justice, Chaos—all concepts possess a physical form. They wander the world, either nourishing or corrupting human souls. They are the cornerstones of cities, the bonds of families, and the power behind armies. Beings formed from the fusion of multiple powerful concepts are known as "gods," and they command the laws of the world.
Lin, an extraordinary teenager, was born with the ability to "strip concepts." He can separate the physical forms of concepts entwined with people, thereby changing their destiny. However, this power is not without a price. Every time he strips a concept, the heavy sorrow, anger, or apathy temporarily transfers to him, becoming his lonely burden.
One day, in a city shrouded in "apathy," he discovers a twisted "Chaos" essence, originating from a distant darkness. This essence is silently corrupting humanity, trying to devour all known concepts and return the world to a state of disorder and confusion. A powerful "God of Chaos" is rising, and its goal is to end the order of all things.
Lin realizes he is no longer just a lonely soul surgeon. He must unite with his allies—people who also possess special abilities—to fight against humans infected by Chaos, seek the source of the Chaos, and ultimately face the powerful entity that seeks to plunge the world into the abyss.
