Hello. I am a FINE DAY. And you are reading my first attempt at an Isekai. IMHRAAM: BISGF. This is basically how I came up with the idea.
So here I was one day, watching some anime and scrolling web tools and I thought "What if instead of an overpowered human with a starting cheat skill. What if the protagonist was anti social and Reincarnated as a Mimic but instead of cheat skills he just got translation." Yep. So that is how my journey to become an author began.
I had to think of a premise, sure I could go and do the "He got hit by a truck." Route. Or maybe parody another isekai. But then I realized I could just write something like "He and his class got summoned. But the world made him a mimic for no reason." Originally, this story was going to be Louki just spawning as a Mimic In the middle of a forest. But then I remembered Mimics mimic chests in a dungeon so that's how I decided him to spawn in a dungeon.
But then I realized that this story might get boring really quick. So then I got the brilliant idea to make it so that along the way, he makes friends. And these friends each need unique gimmicks and personalities and skills. (At the time of writing this auxiliary, there might be just 1 or 2 of his "friends".)
But then I asked myself "Wait, what happened to the rest of his class?" And then I remembered this is an underrated trope used in Isekais. Infrequently switching perspectives between the main guy and some guy in his class.
