Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 The Beginning of a Dream

At night, countless stars lit up the sky.

"It's Friday today, yay!" Ash quickly finished his dinner and returned to his cozy little room.

Ash lay directly on his bed, holding the latest Pokémon game console, staring intently, "Is it going to succeed?"

"Ding, ding, ding."

"It succeeded! I caught Garchomp!"

His expression was incredibly excited; although he had played countless versions of Pokemon, that passion still remained.

"Alright, let's continue our journey. My goal is to become the League Champion!"

"I choose you, Garchomp, so cool. Garchomp, use Dragon Rage."

"Yes, successfully defeated the opponent!"

Unconsciously, he glanced at the time; it was already two in the morning. "It's too late. Mom will find out I stayed up late tomorrow. I need to go to bed early."

Ash was sleeping soundly when a shooting star streaked across the night sky.

"Ding ding, system is starting, confirming host identity, binding complete, spacetime transaction complete, target confirmed, Pokémon world, currently traversing..."

The warm sunlight fell on Ash's face. Ash, still drowsy, opened his eyes. "I slept until morning, what a good sleep!"

Suddenly, he looked at the decorations beside him. "A wooden house? Seven-colored Pidgeotto dolls, and his earliest memory, a Charizard doll!"

"Where exactly is this? Did my dream really come true, did I transmigrate to the Pokémon world??"

"Ding ding, please confirm host identity. Identity: Pokémon world, Kanto region, Pallet Town, Ash."

"This is? A system??" Ash quickly chose to confirm.

"Ding ding, identity transaction complete, host identity confirmed successfully."

A memory emerged in Ash's mind. "System is implanting both parties' memories, implanting, please wait..."

"This is the Pokémon world, also known as the Pokemon world. This is the Kanto region, Pallet Town. Welcome, host, to the Pokemon world!"

At this moment, Ash was incredibly excited. "Pallet Town, the beginning of a dream!"

"Alright, let me experience the world of Pokemon!"

The Pokémon world he had longed for, he was finally here!

Ash slowly walked downstairs. Ash's mother, Delia, was making breakfast.

"Since I've come to this world, I'll adapt to it!"

"Good morning, Mom!"

"Morning, Ash," Delia smiled slightly.

"Ash, you have to go to school after breakfast," Delia said gently.

"School? Isn't today Saturday? No, this is the Pokémon world."

Ash quickly checked the calendar. "Today is Friday, no wonder. Alright, let me experience the education of the Pokémon world!"

"Mmm, delicious, delicious!" It had to be said, Delia's cooking was exceptionally skillful, and Ash devoured his meal.

"Eat slowly, Ash, don't choke," Delia came over and gently patted his back, which made Ash feel a lot of love.

"Ash's mom is too gentle!"

Ash finished his hearty breakfast, feeling completely satisfied.

"Mom, I'm going to school!" Ash waved to Delia.

Delia smiled slightly, "Mhm, be careful on the way, and study hard."

"Okay! Pokemon world, here I come!"

Along the way, he looked at the cute Pokemon, his heart incredibly excited: Oddish, Pidgeotto, Butterfree.

"Wow, so excited!"

"This should be it, right?" Ash slowly walked into the classroom and found a relatively neat seat.

Because the system had already implanted the memories of this world, he was very clear about it.

"So sleepy..." He didn't know if it was because of the recent identity swap, but Ash felt a little tired.

"I'll just close my eyes for a bit, I definitely won't fall asleep!" Ash directly lay on his desk, but the next second he was fast asleep.

The next moment, "Ash! You're Slack Offing again!"

A beautiful teacher wearing glasses, Na Zi, frowned slightly, looking at Ash with some anger.

Ash scratched his head, "Sorry, Teacher, I accidentally fell asleep, hehe."

"Ash! Answer this question for me: [What type is Pikachu, and what is its Electric move?]".

Ash didn't think much, "Answering Teacher, Pikachu is an Electric-type, and its Electric move is Thunderbolt!"

The yellow rodent, he was more than familiar with it!

Na Zi adjusted her glasses, "He actually answered it?" Her large eyes were fixed on Ash.

This was not like the usually Slack Offing Ash. Normally, Ash didn't focus on studying but preferred battling.

Therefore, his grades were always at the bottom, and Na Zi was still somewhat disbelieving.

"Alright, everyone should learn from Ash. Let's give Ash a round of applause."

Clap, clap, clap. Instantly, countless claps echoed in the classroom.

As the applause slowly died down, Teacher Na Zi posed another question.

"As punishment for Slack Offing in class, Teacher will test you with another question: What is Pikachu's Ability?"

Hearing this question, the students in the classroom also whispered, "This is too difficult?!"

Ash blurted out directly, "Answering Teacher Na Zi, Pikachu's Abilities are Static and Lightning Rod."

"The Static Ability has a 30% chance of paralyzing enemies who attack it with physical moves."

"The Lightning Rod Ability prevents damage from Electric-type moves and raises Special Attack by 1 stage."

"Furthermore, Pikachu has an incredibly destructive tail. The electricity generated by the electric sacs on its cheeks is all stored in its tail, which it uses to Slam opponents during battle."

Teacher Na Zi's mouth hung open, her eyes filled with shock, but then she was overjoyed. "Good, good, let's move on to the next question!"

Na Zi slightly adjusted her glasses, "Ash, which Pokemon does Gyarados evolve from? What are its types?"

"Gyarados?" Ash's expression was excited, clearly eager to answer.

"Teacher Na Zi, Gyarados evolves from Magikarp, and its types are Flying and Water!"

"Many students might mistakenly think Gyarados is a Dragon-type Pokemon."

The classroom immediately erupted in an uproar, "Gyarados isn't a Dragon-type Pokemon?"

"Yeah, I clearly remember Gyarados is Flying and Dragon-type!"

Na Zi was somewhat astonished, her eyes filled with excitement and disbelief. This Ash, who always had the worst grades, actually answered correctly.

"A perfect answer! Let's give Ash a warm round of applause!" Na Zi was incredibly excited at this moment, her face beaming with smiles.

Clap, clap, clap. The classroom once again filled with enthusiastic applause.

"That's the correct answer. I always thought Gyarados was Dragon-type!" a few students whispered.

At this moment, Ash's deskmate was completely dumbfounded. "Are you really Ash? The Ash whose academic performance was at the bottom of the class?"

Ash chuckled and winked at his deskmate.
