"Ding-a-ling…"
As a Pidgeotto model alarm clock rang, Ash slowly got up, stretched, and said, "Today is another day full of unknowns!"
"Ash, come downstairs for breakfast. Mom made you your favorite sandwiches."
"Coming, Mom!" After washing up, Ash tidied his hair and quickly went downstairs.
"Ash, today is the day Professor Oak is organizing a team-building event. Do you want to join?" Delia asked Ash with a smile.
"Professor Oak? Yes! Mom, I want to go."
"Alright, Ash, after breakfast, head to Professor Oak's house for the gathering. Everyone needs to be there by nine o'clock."
Ash put on his red and white hat, his bangs covering his forehead, and his blue pants matched his red and white top. "Hmm… I'm even more handsome today!"
Ash walked out of the house. The fresh air outside was exhilarating. He took a deep, greedy breath of the crisp air. This air was indeed better than that on his own planet!
Along the way, Oddish ran freely across the vast land, Pidgeotto flew slowly in the sky, and occasionally, a few Butterfree could be seen.
"You're here too, Ash," Xiao Mu said to Ash with a smile.
"What a coincidence, Xiao Mu. I thought you'd still be sleeping in at home?" Ash ran towards Xiao Mu, a wide smile on his face.
"Let's go, Xiao Mu, to Professor Oak's house for the gathering." Ash put his hand on Xiao Mu's shoulder, and the two walked forward cheerfully.
A moment later, the two arrived at Professor Oak's laboratory, which was filled with various instruments and some red and white Poké Balls.
"Hello, Professor Oak!" Ash and Xiao Mu said in unison.
Professor Oak nodded, "Ash, Xiao Mu, you've arrived."
"We still need to wait a moment. Gary isn't ready yet. That child is always dragging his feet."
Ash shook his head slightly, "It's alright, Professor Oak, we're not in a hurry anyway."
After speaking, Ash couldn't help but pick up the Poké Balls, holding some of them with great fondness.
"Is this what a Poké Ball feels like? It's truly amazing!" This incredibly real sensation made Ash immensely excited.
"Come out, Charizard!"
Ash mimicked the scene from the anime perfectly, even replicating the posture and movements flawlessly.
Of course, this Poké Ball was empty, meant only for display and decoration.
"Hahaha, Ash, you actually like Charizard, that's so lame!" At this moment, Gary, who had appeared from nowhere, came up behind Ash.
"Is this Gary?" Ash thought to himself. Since the system had already implanted memories, Ash was aware of these things.
Although Gary was Ash's strong rival in the anime, the transmigrated Ash didn't harbor much ill will.
Moreover, the existence of a system indicated that some things in this world had changed and wouldn't be exactly the same as the original.
"Ash, you haven't been charmed by This Young Master, have you!" Gary said with a smile, looking at the dazed Ash.
Ash finally snapped out of it, "Hello, Gary." He extended his hand, waiting for Gary to shake it.
"Huh?" Gary was confused by this action. Why did it seem like they were just meeting? But he still extended his hand and shook it.
Professor Oak looked at the happy group, smiled, and walked over, "Children, it's time to depart. There might be partners from other regions joining us."
"Other regions? Could it be Rosa and Serena?!" Thinking of this, Ash was already impatient.
On the bus, Ash was visibly excited. He was already fantasizing about these two heroines he had been longing for.
Fresh air drifted in from the bus window, making Ash feel invigorated, as if his entire body was filled with strength.
At this moment, Gary leaned over, "Ash, Xiao Mu, today I'll show you something!"
With that, Gary took a Poké Ball from his backpack, his face showing undisguised pride.
"A Poké Ball? Does it contain a Pokémon?!" Xiao Mu was incredibly excited at this moment. He was very passionate about Pokémon.
Ash paused slightly, then quickly recovered. As Professor Oak's grandson, it was reasonable for Gary to have a Pokémon.
However, Ash was now a little curious, "What exactly is inside this Poké Ball? A Squirtle, a Bulbasaur, or a Charmander?"
These three, as the first-generation Starter Pokemon, held his childhood memories, so Ash was full of anticipation.
Gary smiled faintly, "Come out, Bulbasaur!!"
As the Poké Ball emitted a flash of light, a frog-like Pokémon jumped out, "Bulba, bulba."
"Bulbasaur?? This is too cool!" Xiao Mu's eyes were filled with envy, and he couldn't help but reach out to touch it.
"It's a Bulbasaur. Something has indeed changed," Ash muttered softly, as this was different from the anime he had watched.
But this was good too; he could experience a brand new Pokémon journey. Thinking of this, Ash felt his blood boil.
"How about it? Envious, aren't you? My grandpa gave this to me." Gary's vanity was satisfied at this moment, and he brushed his hair back with his hand.
"Given to you? Don't new trainers get to choose their own??" Ash blurted out directly, somewhat disbelieving.
If that were the case, wouldn't he not meet Pikachu, or would it appear in another way?
Gary rolled his eyes at Ash, "Ash, are you still half-asleep? How could it be given away for free?"
Hearing Gary's words, Ash scratched his head awkwardly. He really had been careless; he hadn't expected even this to have changed.
Ash leaned against the car window, watching Oddish playing carefree. Suddenly, Ash seemed to see something.
"What is that?" He saw a rock-like Pokémon helping to carry things.
Ash strained his eyes, trying to get a clear look at that Pokémon. "Is that a Geodude?"
Under the clear blue sky, humans and Pokémon coexisted harmoniously, together building this beautiful world. This atmosphere was truly wonderful!
A moment later, Ash and his group arrived at their destination. A crowd had already gathered there, making it extremely lively.
"Oh wow, this is truly amazing! I'm so excited to see if Serena and Rosa are here." At this moment, Ash could no longer contain his excitement.
