Peng Ying Tao returned just as Ning Li Ming and his family were ready to leave. Initially, Peng Ying Tao wanted to keep her son-in-law and his family a while longer, especially as Ning Wei's adoptive mother, Qing Ke, had not arrived.
But she still had to agree when she heard about Huang Wen's mother's health.
Ning Wei walked her father outside and watched as Ning Li Ming's driver helped them into the car.
A car approached just as Ning Li Ming's car was about to depart.
Ning Wei squinted to get a clear look. Then, she remembered that Qing Ke was coming over.
"Who is that?" Peng Ying Tao asked. Her brow furrowed slightly as she followed Ning Wei's line of gaze. Her son-in-law had just left. She wondered if they were expecting another guest.
"Grandma, that should be Miss Qing," Ning Wei said, descending the stairs with a bright smile on her face.
