Richard's POV
"You're late". I yelled, and she just apologised. How can someone on earth look like my Selina, of all people?. She's going to make me despise her just by looking at her. Is the universe trying to laugh at me, after all I've been through?.

"My pretty Selina, you look breathtaking" I couldn't believe I'm going to be a father and husband to the woman I love the most, with her blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes that remind me of the ocean. Her laugh is melodious, I could drown in it.
~~eight months later~~
I'm all tied up and gagged, the place smells dread, and a cold shiver runs down my spine, but I don't think about me, I think about my darling, Selina and my precious two-month-old daughter Miranda, who's at home waiting for me; she must be worried sick. I tried everything I could, to yank my hands off the ropes, but they were too tight. I reached into my lower pocket to get my pocket knife, and that's when I heard the voices. At first, they were all muffled, but they got clearer. Well, my kidnappers are here. " So you're awake?". I couldn't recognise that voice. I just sat there, helpless. God, I hate feeling like this. Helpless. As my hood was removed, my vision was blurry and I couldn't see a damn thing, whoever did this, had guts I'll give that to them but I'm going to make sure it's the last thing they do, whoever did this to me had Intel, and I'm going to find out who that is and make sure they never remain the same again."What do you want?". "I want the goddamn documents". "What do you mean by document? What documents?".
The next thing I heard was a deafening blow, but I didn't feel anything till seconds later. " Shit". I growled, whatever that thing is, it's got to be metal. I felt blood trickling down the side of my head. "Where are the legal documents for the company?". Legal documents? Does he want to take over the company?. "I don't have such documents with me and if I did, what makes you think I'll give them to you?". " I had a feeling you'll say that, but I bet this will change your mind?" As I sat there feeling like a pile of bones, a woman was pushed into the light and from what I could see, she looked miserable. "Who is she?". "Take a closer look". As the woman was pushed closer to me, my jaw clenched, and I felt rage pulsating through my body. "What the fuck are you doing with her?". "Oh, is Mr.CEO scared to see his little princess in despair?". He moved closer to her and hit her on the nape, my blood ran ice cold. "Don't you dare touch her". "Else what pretty boy?". He gave out a cynical laugh that irritated me to the brim. I looked at my darling Selina and wished I wasn't in this damn position. I couldn't reach my pocket knife. When the voice came closer to her, I couldn't help it, I had to protect Selina. "I'll give you the damn documents, just leave her out of this". He moved closer to her with a knife, and I thought he wanted to stab her. If anything happens to Selina I'm never going to forgive myself. He cut through her ropes, and she started running towards me, and then my ropes were cut also. I didn't realise someone was at my back. What if I tried to escape?. I stood up to go to her, to protect her. I can't function without her. Just as I was about to reach her, I heard a bang. And she fell towards me, I caught her just in time, but she was stained, stained with blood. Her blood. That's when it hit me, "You shot her? How dare you shoot her? I said I'll give you the documents". "You were wasting my time, and time is money, I thought you knew that, Mr. CEO. "Selina?Selina?Don't do this to me, stay with me. You promised to stay with me forever". All pleas fell on deaf ears, she raised her head and looked at me, and I cupped her face and gazed into her eyes, eyes filled with love, love for me, love for our child. And then her hands turned cold. "Selina!!!". I groaned.

"Selina?". I must have zoned out because my secretary just stood there staring at me. " Umm, why do you keep on calling me Selina? I look like someone you know?". "Never mind". "Umm, sure… I'm Katilyn in case you've forgotten". "You're my secretary, I can call you whatever I want". "You can call me princess, I'd like that very much". "Shut up". I didn't want to sit down here and listen to her. I looked as intimidating as I could, but she just smirked and said the most stupid thing I've ever heard. "So, about this Selina? Does she have a dragon tattoo up in her ass and across her chest?". The fuck?. I don't reply. " I'll take that as a no, meaning that I ain't her and quit yapping about her already". I gripped my chair handle tight, and my knuckle turned white, How dare she talk about my beloved Selina that way?. I am going to enjoy ripping away all sense of courage to talk towards me. On the other hand, it could be useful during business meetings. "You will not speak to me that way again, or you're fired, got that? I'm your boss, and you better start listening to me and keep that mouth of yours in check, got that?". "Or you could kiss it, c'mon I know you want to". This girl certainly has some guts. "Get out now!". I thundered, I don't even remember why I had called her in here in the first place. She's nothing but trouble, nothing I can't handle.
