"I'm just noting the coordination involved. The resources. The legal expertise required to protect that many people breaking NDAs simultaneously."
She wasn't asking directly. Just laying out observations and waiting to see if Levi would confirm.
"The lawyers are really competent," Levi said carefully.
"The best." Maya's smile was sharp. "And apparently they have a very motivated client."
The warehouse door opened before anyone could respond. Marcus stepped through, silver hair catching the industrial lighting, moving with that unhurried authority that made spaces feel smaller.
"How did the session go?" he asked, setting his briefcase down near the stairs.
"Good," John answered. "Really good. Levi's trying it differently now. It's not raw desperation anymore. It's controlled vulnerability. Exactly what we wanted."
