Chapter 66 - [LOU] 66: Transcendent Gods

Cosmo.

Will of the Gods.

Ultimate Power.

These three powers were wielded by Primordial Gods, gods, and humans, respectively.

So…

What was the core of these powers?

"Demeter, Persephone," Alistair mused, then spoke suddenly. The mother-daughter duo turned to him as he asked softly, "Do you know about the Ninth Sense, Tenth Sense, and the Omega Cosmo?"

"???"

The women exchanged bewildered looks. What were those?

The Eighth Sense already marked one as a demigod.

To clarify, the Fifth Sense of Cosmo was achieved by humans pushing their bodies to the limit, honing all five senses to their peak, gradually transitioning to the Sixth Sense.

From the Sixth Sense to the Seventh and Eighth, it was nothing short of a life's sublimation.

Simply put!

Cosmo brought life's elevation. Sixth Sense Cosmo granted a lifespan of one to two centuries with ease.

Seventh Sense Cosmo? Six or seven centuries, no problem.

As for the Eighth Sense?

Reaching it meant transcending life and death, breaking their limits entirely. At this level, it was obvious.

Humans could no longer be called mere humans but had crossed into long-lived species.

Truly reaching the Eighth Sense, burning Cosmo to its limit, could awaken God Cloths!

Why?

Simple.

God Cloths represented a god's power, the core of the Eighth Sense. Advancing further, mastering one's law, meant ascending to godhood, like Nezuko Kamado, igniting her divine spark and condensing her Godhead to become a true god.

Crucially, gods who rose step by step were far more formidable in combat.

For example!

Pandora, a low-tier god with the law of hope and despair, would be crushed by a Seventh Sense Gold Saint.

Similarly, Charon, a mid-tier god, facing an Eighth Sense Saint burning Cosmo to awaken a God Cloth?

It'd be over in a single move.

Pegasus Meteor Fist, 27 hits—learn your place.

That was the stark gap.

A born "divine heir" versus a self-made "first-generation" god.

Without backing, in a real fight?

Heh…

The heir would be thoroughly outclassed. They weren't on the same level.

This was Cosmo's sublimation.

The Will of the Gods and Ultimate Power followed a similar principle.

But…

The Ninth Sense, Tenth Sense, and Omega Cosmo? What were those?

Alistair sensed the women's curious gazes but didn't respond, instead looking to Demeter and Persephone.

"I…" Demeter shook her head. "Dust, I don't know. Are the Ninth Sense, Tenth Sense, and Omega Cosmo some special powers?"

"Dust," Persephone added, "I'm unaware as well."

"As expected!" Alistair nodded knowingly, hands propping his chin on the table, deep in thought.

"The source world doesn't have the Ninth Sense, Tenth Sense, or Omega Cosmo?"

"Parallel universes."

"As I thought."

Alistair squinted, pondering the matter.

Truthfully, he'd been considering this since Persephone's clash with Apollo.

God-King-level divine power could create or destroy a universe with a thought.

Theoretically, this surpassed single-universe settings, reaching super-single-universe but not multiversal combat power.

Yet…

"World restrictions?" Alistair mused. "Or perhaps…"

He continued, "Speaking of, Persephone, can you travel to parallel universes?"

"Parallel universes? Impossible," Persephone shook her head. "From what I know, only Primordial Gods can barely reach parallel universes, or rather, project into them."

"True parallel universe travel requires at least Absolute God status."

"As I suspected!" Alistair nodded, understanding much.

"Let me think…" He waved. "Hold on a moment."

"Alright," the women nodded quietly. Though curious, they knew to wait.

"The Ninth and Tenth Sense system comes from Saint Seiya Episode.G Assassin and Saint Seiya Episode.G Requiem—essentially one world, a parallel universe."

"The Omega Cosmo system comes from Saint Seiya Omega, another distinct parallel universe."

Alistair contemplated the origins of these systems.

"Hmm…" He rubbed his brow, still uncertain, needing further thought.

"Dust," Persephone stood, approaching him, her voice gentle. "If you can't figure it out, don't force it. Take your time."

Alistair shook his head. "It's not that. I need to make some plans, and they're important."

"Alright," Persephone didn't press, sitting in his lap with tender affection.

Notably, the chairs at Hell's Council were large, easily accommodating two.

Alistair wrapped an arm around Persephone's slender waist, his hand wandering as he mused, "Demeter, Persephone, do you know who created this world?"

One thing Alistair was certain of: this was the source world, the original.

No joking about that.

Like Marvel's 616 universe, it was the main universe, unchanging.

"Chaos, the Absolute God!" the mother-daughter duo answered in unison.

Alistair nodded, thinking, "If that's correct…"

"Then…"

"I recall Saint Seiya Omega's universe was created by Apsu, the Absolute God of darkness from Mesopotamian mythology."

"As expected!"

"The source world's future development is uncertain."

"What's certain is that other stories are separate parallel universes."

"In that case…" Alistair's eyes gleamed.

Honestly!

In his view, he could traverse the multiverse.

But ordinary worlds, at best, were single-universe, and their yields?

Decent, but not exceptional.

However, consuming more Saint Seiya worlds would be a game-changer.

"Multiverse?" Alistair thought. "No! No!"

He squinted. "Based on current deductions, Absolute Gods can create universes, and their interwoven universes form a multiverse."

"So, how many Absolute Gods are there?"

"At minimum, Chaos, Apsu, and Saturn…"

There were certainly many.

Apsu hailed from Mesopotamian mythology.

And, as known, Mesopotamian mythology blended Sumerian and Babylonian mythologies.

In essence, Apsu was Sumerian, while Tiamat was the true Babylonian Absolute God.

Theoretically, they'd merged, as the mythologies intertwined.

But now?

This was a world of converged gods, with two Absolute Gods.

As for Saturn!

If Alistair recalled correctly, Saturn was an incarnation of Chronos, the Transcendent God of time.

Unimportant.

Any incarnation, like in certain Type-Moon worlds, lowered one's rank upon descent.

God descending as Jehovah, Buddha as the Enlightened One.

Chronos descending as Saturn.

Chronos was Saturn, but Saturn wasn't necessarily Chronos.

Like Chronos appearing as an old man, it was a lowered-rank manifestation, not the true self.

Each Absolute God created their divine system's universe, forming a multiverse, which together built the complete Omniverse.

"And…" Alistair thought, "the supreme Chronos."

"The Omniverse!"

He concluded this was a true Omniverse.

He'd considered this before, and now, it was nearly confirmed.

"Dust, figured something out?" Persephone asked, noting his relaxed brow.

"Yes, a bit," Alistair nodded, beginning to explain.

Soon, as he finished, the women fell silent.

For a moment…

Gasp!

They couldn't help but inhale sharply. What was this? Too terrifying!

In that moment, the women from the three renamed Dark Universes exchanged glances, thinking, What kind of background do we have?

Look at this!

What was all this?

"Hmm…" Demeter propped her chin lazily on the table.

This goddess seemed to have fully embraced letting go.

Now, she was like an elegant, languid noblewoman, barely bothering with clothes—often in black lace pajamas and minimal undergarments, as breezy as could be.

In the Pure Land of Bliss, she'd completely unleashed herself.

In her words: What? It's just women and kin here, or Dust. This outfit's convenient—ready for anything, anytime.

To that, everyone could only give a thumbs-up. Truly a goddess—terrifyingly so.

Demeter drawled lazily, "Based on Dust's explanation, we're in the source world, the core of the entire Omniverse. That means Chaos can't be the creator."

She pinpointed the issue.

As the Omniverse's core, how could a mere Absolute God be the creator?

"Exactly," Persephone said, unbothered by Alistair's wandering hands, considering seriously. "Mother's right. The source world was likely created by Chronos, the Transcendent God of time."

"Chronos…" The name silenced everyone.

The women felt a surreal disconnect.

It was like being a small-town tycoon, only to face the world's richest, a centuries-old super-family patriarch.

Awkward…

Alistair shook his head. "What are you thinking? That I'd fight Chronos?"

"Let's be real."

"If Chronos noticed me, he'd have come for me already."

"So far, he hasn't."

Alistair leaned back, holding Persephone, utterly relaxed.

For a moment, the women froze, then realized something.

"Heh…" Persephone chuckled behind her hand. "Exactly. This proves, Dust, your rank either matches or surpasses Chronos, the Transcendent God of time."

Alistair shrugged, not denying it.

This wasn't boasting.

When he built Hades' Castle, he'd planned for this.

True Hell was nearly detached from the Saint Seiya world. If trouble arose, he'd seal it off, develop steadily via the Dimension Star Map, and forget the Saint Seiya world.

Once strong enough, he'd return, launch a full-scale war, and conquer.

Now?

Heh…

Alistair was certain Chronos couldn't detect him.

Why?

At Chronos' level, if Alistair discovered a time god of equal or higher rank, would he show mercy?

No way!

He'd act without hesitation.

"I see!" The women nodded, understanding.

Alistair continued, "What I need to confirm is that we can plan ahead. This proves the Dimension Star Map can likely search for other parallel worlds."

"Maybe even more easily!"

He declared confidently, "This world is very close to us. With the Dimension Star Map, finding more parallel worlds should be straightforward."

"Of course, that's just a theory for now."

He wasn't certain.

"Got it!" Everyone nodded.

Persephone asked, "So, Dust, should we be cautious going forward?"

Alistair waved dismissively. "No big deal. We stick to our original plan."

"And now?" He surveyed the women, sinking into thought.

Hmm…

It seemed he hadn't thrown a proper party yet.

A grin curved his lips. Seeing it, the women instantly understood but knew their place as subordinate gods and kin—best to follow their god-lord's lead!
