Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Severed Head

Detective Jin's POV.

After what happened to the storage area, I was ordered to gone back to my table. The chief pass the case to officer Villanueva and Officer Gonzaga of division One. I can't even be assigned to that case due to my rank. And I'm not from the investigation division unlike those two.

"Officer Jin, do stamp and print these papers. I needed it asap!" demanded by Officer Gonzaga from division one.

Of all the officers here, Officer Gonzaga was one of my archenemies due to his attitude. He's so irritated by my face that I myself thinks that he doesn't live his life without ordering and pestering me around.

"I heard a rumor before, they officer Jin was good at deductions and solving cases and on his prime when he was in high school."

"I mean, really his still good. In staples and printing papers, hahahaha" another mocking coming from officer Gonzaga's filthy mouth.

Other officers laugh and most of them acted like they didn't know me at all.

Officer Gonzaga sometimes mocked me when he knew I could get humilated. When he had his buddies back from division one, he'll starts to bully me just to prove his point that his superior.

I just ignored him and continued to print and stamped the papers he asked me to do. I never slack off when it comes to work. Yet, when he's here, it makes me wanted to quit the force and just be normal just to stop the bullying

He never missed a day without embarrassing me. "Where's the papers Gonzaga?" Someone shouted that makes them gone silent.

Unlike Officer Gonzaga, officer Villanueva is calculated, calm and collected. He knew how to separate personal grudge and professionalism. Unlike Gonzaga, Officer Villanueva respects those who seemed below to them.

After that, I immediately printed and handed it to officer Villanueva personally.

The paper I printed was a case from the storage room. What I saw from the bag was a chopped/severed head of a female cadaver.

Estimated identification is a 17 years old High School girl. Based on the content of the bag, her ID was left and shoved inside the students mouth. The CCTV camera on the bus station was being checked from the moment the bag was left behind and being handled to the station.

The case is being investigated due to the severities of the case. Also the parents of the victim is being notified and summoned to identify the severed head.

As they roam around the station, again, I begone to stare again in spaces and begone to reimagined the severed head inside the bag pack.

I immediately faced my computer and searched something I just randomly remembered. Due to the fact that I am authorized to access files and cold cases files. I searched for some related cold cases and compare those files to the case they're in.

Missing High School Student: Amoral National High School has reported the disappearance of a 17-year-old high school student named Shello D. Cabasa. Missing was reported on May 21, 2000; later, on August 21, 2000, the victim's head (desmembered) was surrendered at Station 10 Amoral, Police Station Region **. (Amoral, Police Station Region**, 2000.)

Missing High School Student; On June 21st, 2003, a missing report was filed for Gen Lyka S. Quinto, a 16-year-old student from Amoral National High School. On August 21, 2003, her head (desmembered) was discovered fluting on the school fountain, witnessed by other students, prompting the Amoral, Police Station Region** to respond and investigate the crime scene. (Amoral, Police Station Region**, 2003).

They're are quite a lot of same cases, but the most common case is the case of Cabasa and Quinto case. They're identical in many ways that it seems like the old cases just happened yesterday. On 2000-2003 these students had gone missing and surprisingly these two also attended Amoral High School, same to the severed head.

The report stated all the common denominator to the case. The whole shift I invest on studying the case and writing the common denominator and also some info that might help me to satisfy my curiosity.

I didn't even know that my shift is already down. "Hey! Are you planning to inherit the whole station? Come on men, go home and sleep!" states by Officer Rodriguez.

I almost jump out of my seat and looked at my watch. I immediately rampage my things and tap Officer Rodriguez's shoulder and run out of the station.

"I thought you hated this job!" I heard him mumbled and I just smile. Officer Rodriguez's switch with me when my work is done. He received reports and complaints at night but really he just slack off and just sleep when on duty. I can't blame him, no one really or people rarely gone through the station late at night.

Unlike the other officers who'll get excited to gone home after work because they'll be welcomed by their family, offsprings, or wife. Me will be gone home sleeping peacefully and alone. Unlike the others, I'm still single. The only single on our station actually. Most of them have already had families or boyfriend/girlfriend.

They even joked about me being gay. I mean, I think I still can't afford to be in a relationship due to my situation. I better be alone than to have unstable income and crumbling family due to poverty.

As soon as I stepped out of the station, I begone to walk forward to where my motorbike parked. My apartment was way too far from the city so, I picked the motorbike for easy transportation.
