Chapter 1 - Dream, nightmare or reality?

I don't know if it is, or would be, normal "to wake up" with someone laughing, almost a psychopathic laugh perhaps, but was I really awake? My eyes, which I tried to open, but couldn't due to an immense pressure that prevented them from opening, unfortunately. The laugh, getting closer and closer to me, echoed in my ears relentlessly, to the point that my ears started to bleed. I don't know if it was real or not, but I felt my heart beating with such force that it seemed it would tear a hole in my chest. It was then that I started to feel short of breath. It was impossible to breathe. My eyes began to twist, to the point that I felt I was being dragged by something out of the ordinary, with a malevolent intent that was impossible to control. Several colors began to appear in the infinite darkness that lay before me, enveloping me, making me feel insignificant. The laughs returned, but now even stronger, and a figure began to appear before me with a red color. It was impossible to see its eyes, for they were surrounded by petals. Wait! Was its entire head a flower? I couldn't say for sure, but it had a highly sinister air. When I realized, I felt a deep breath behind me, very close to my ears, almost panting. The being whispers to me in my ears, very low, with a malevolent tone: "The blood is deveras delicious, so delicious to the point of making me go mad... ahhhhh…..hummm, its crimson color makes my lips twist, my throat begs for more, ahhhh..., what a thirst I have...…." The feminine voice became almost hypnotizing. Suddenly, I feel the breath even closer to my right ear and I begin to feel what seemed to be someone licking me. The entity now licked the lower part of my ear, starting to leave me, in a way, excited, thing abnormal given the situation I was in. The panting breath now moved away, to the point that I could no longer feel it, and it was then that I felt my life leave my body entirely. A slender and delicate arm pierced through my chest, ripping out my heart. The heart beat in front of me, incessant. Blood dripped from the hand and my chest, forming a pool at my feet. The figure then pulls it back and appears in front of me with it in hand, raising it to its mouth. She begins to bite into it, little by little, savoring it as if it were something delicate and exquisite. The figure, now finished with its meal, exclaims as if it were something indeed amusing: "Forgive me, pilgrim, but this is… haha… a sublime delight! I thank you for the feast. When the hour comes, I shall reward you, freeing you from the burden of your soul with pleasures you cannot even dream of… hahaha…" "Pilgrim?", I thought. "What do you mean by pilgrim?", I tried to ask, but to no effect, for my voice did not reach her. "The time will tell you when the hour comes. Until then, prepare yourself for what is to come… haha… indeed amusing… haha…" A snap of fingers echoed in the immense darkness, dispersing it, and my body gives a slight jump from the bed, waking me in the middle of the night. The smell of death hovered over my room, almost as if someone had died. I went to the window. Outside, the moon illuminated the street in Domius Street. I sat in an armchair that was to the left of my bed, near the door, and began to think about the dream, or nightmare, I don't know what to call it. I only know that it provoked a deep fear in me, out of the ordinary. I placed my hand on my chest, on the left side, resting it over my heart, but nothing bad had happened to it, for it was beating normally. What could that figure have meant by "pilgrim"? And all that talk about rewarding me when the day comes? All of this was extremely strange, but I decided to leave my thoughts for tomorrow. I went back to lie down in bed and fell asleep shortly after.
