Cosmos blinked a couple of times and smirked with eyes that shown with glee. he had gotten a memory his first one maybe last but still and it was of the awakened tier not strong at all but it was just a journal nothing more. going back into the ruins of his spell he scanned down to the memory's section.
memory's: [lost journal]
memory description: [a journal held by a soul too far gone to be saved]
Cosmos focused on summoning the medium sized journal. it appeared out of a nothingness bringing with it light particles witch quickly vanished. with a flip of the wrist and a smile on his face he flipped the first page only to be greeted with a blank page... alright then. turning the page once more it again had nothing cosmos began to get frustrated a little i mean why would there be a blank journal in the room with a name and description witch clearly meant someone had once owned it witch means they must have wrote something down in it.
Flipping through all the pages cosmoses fears were confirmed there was not a single letter in the entire book no weird ruins no strange drawings nothing at all to be fair even if there were ruins he doubt he could read them. focusing and dismissing the journal back into the soul sea cosmos frowned it was just a journal but i feel like it would be dormant if it was not special at all maybe its only redeeming quality is that it is a memory. cosmos looked at the food and water on the table and grabbed a portion of the food it was not anything amazing but to cosmos, it was amazing the food was really not even food just past that was considered food like the food he had in the out skirts but it tasted much better and the water he could only imagine. he had water in the out skirts but it was nasty and was more like swamp water, he had never even had normal fresh water before and he couldn't wait!
Grabbing the tinfoil wrap witch was probably water he got exited this is the first time he would have had true water he was ready. cosmos screwed the cap off and put his lips to the head of the tinfoil wrap. to his sadness he tasted the familiar swamp water, cosmos was kind of shocked first of all how did the swamp water even get here were the gods cursing him by not giving him a good drink for once. cosmos made sure to leave enough food for tomorrow. and got up out of the chair and looked out the window space was dark yet he felt like he could see perfectly fine he also felt his mussels strengthen.
so that's what [child of stars] does. that's good but it probably wont be much help right now since the only way he can even see out side is this small window. "hey guide do you have another name i could call you?" he said his voice ringing out into the satellite as he looked out the window.
"no" that is all it said not anything else so it seems like i got my answer
the days merged into one. just how long would he be in this satellite with no one to talk to besides guide, and they were not very talkative. it was the 4th day that cosmos looked out the window and saw it the asteroid that would supposedly destroy the planet and the satellite. cosmos had officially ran out of food on the 6th day he searched the storage compartments of the satellite but could not find anything to eat.
sighing with sadness cosmos realized that he would either starve out here or die of the explosion but he would not let it take him that easily he would find a way to survive even if it was impossible his brother was out there his sister was out there he would survive not because he wanted to but because he needed too. even if it brought him to his breaking point.
the first day of no food was bad he was hungry but he had experienced it before in the out skirts sometimes you would have to go days with out eating this was nothing he would be fine he had to be. the astride was getting closer it was a small dot merely 2 days ago now it was the size of his finger nail on his thumb. he was scared he was but he determined to survive this nightmare.
two weeks went by and cosmos was really starting to feel it he had searched every inch of the satellite that was available to him. and yet there was nothing at all not a single ounce of food. the asteroid was getting bigger it was now as big as his hand. cosmos had managed to create a make shift bouncy ball out of the rubber on the wires that connected to the terminal at one end of the ship. he had been gentle as to not harm any wire just incase he needed to use the terminal. and the bouncy ball sucked hard every time he bounced it he had to fully rewrap it back into a ball. it was tedious but what else could he have done.
a month had gone by and cosmos was feeling dead he would eat anything even raw chicken as long as it would fill him you think you have felt hunger you have never felt anything of what he was going though pain all the time he couldn't focus on bouncing the ball anymore he spent all day laying in bed and looking out the window from the bed. the good news is that the asteroid look like it stopped moving for some reason. he was not complaining but at the same time he kind of wished for the sweat break of this torture. he had even thought of chewing on a wire just to end it but no he persisted the gods must be angry in there coffins. he let out a pained laugh.
on the 2nd month with no food, you could see his ribs he was small and dried up of no water and no food he was tired and hungry he wanted to close his eyes so badly but he believed that he would not open them again if he did that he couldn't move anymore his body wouldn't let him he couldn't see if the asteroid was on the move or not he could only be in the fertile position. what type of trial was this how was this fair food to last him less than a week.
suddenly and violently he saw flashes of light from the window he couldn't see what was going on but he had a fairly good guess it had hit the planet and like the devil its self he felt the satellite shake and than the lights started flashing again but this time it was different it was blue lights not red. "guide what's going on?" i asked the stupid voice in my head and it responded with the same dame tone and words it always did
"answer: unknown please repeat or ask a different question" just as he thought the dammed thing still wasn't giving him any answers. than the voice of the satellite rang through the tight room.
"WARNING, WARNING, EXTERNAL DAMAGE SEVERE. WARNING, WARNING, EXTERNAL DAMAGE SEVERE." wow really i couldn't tell i might have never guess honestly the voice rang out more and more until it eventually stopped with a sudden bam cosmos was launched off the bed and hit the other end of the small room and groaned as pain shot through his already pained body. some how he managed to get up and leaned on the terminal and almost flipped a button on but he thankfully did not instead a worse thing happened a rock the size of the window smashed though the hull of the satellite and hit the terminal with a hard thud.
cosmos stared at the rock for a split second and than violently got sucked to the hole where the rock came from unfortunately he was complete ripped out of the satellite but... he felt better he wasn't suffocating and his fluids were staying inside his body he even felt a little less hungry like being in complete silence and darkness was fine for him like it was a normal Tuesday. the satellite was gone by this point floating away from him and he doubted he would ever be back in it either way he had more pressing issues to deal with he tried turning around witch he don't know how he did he saw the planet that was hit with the meter the side where it hit was completely shattered and destroyed.
cosmos was utterly confused one thing had happened and then another and another no doubt its because of [fated] that he was in this predicament now what though what did the spell want him to do its not like he could do anything really and that question was one he asked the entire time though the starvation what did the spell have in plan for him.
turning back to the satellite it exploded well the best a explosion could do in outer space it was kind of like a fart being expelled it just blew up no smoke or fire just boom it sent tiny pieces of itself in all directions one of those was sadly mine. i saw the metal flying saucer come flying at me i tried to get away but with no force to push off of i was kind of screwed.
it hit me in the side i felt it cut my abdomen get cut in i could feel my stomach getting sliced i tried to let out a scream of pain but in the empty void no sound was heard
He felt his body healing trying to push out the metal object. Only to feel a hook attached to his internals with a serge of power through his body he grabbed the metal dish and began to try and pull it out his head was killing him and his entire body was on fire. Trying to pull out the metal dish his fears were confirmed when he tried to pull it out. He could feel the metal hook on his internals. With a unadubal groan he wiggled the hook free unfortunately the hook was keeping the blood in but if he wanted his body to heal he needed to get the hook out of his internals. Pulling the metal dish out of his abdomen. he could feel his abdomen healing witch of course was painful, I mean his body had gotten some what used to the intruder even if it was in there for a few moments. He saw his abdomen go back to the normal malnourished belly it normally was. He still felt a little hungrey.
Turning his head to look at the small planet that was more like a moon if anything. it was cracked and had peices the size of continents floating around the dwarf planet. The asteroid must have done that. He was currently heading straight towards the tiny planet witch was growing bigger with each passing second. It was clear what was going to happen he was going to crash on to the planet and hope the gravity wouldent kill him
