Chapter 70 - The Castle

Zed and Blade looked at the black ashes scattered on the ground, bewildered and embarrassed, then turned their heads to the stairs.

Natasha twirled the ultraviolet gun in her hand, blowing a kiss at the barrel in a cool and alluring manner, and then whispered:

"Natasha, one point!"

Zed's mouth twitched involuntarily: "You guys at S.H.I.E.L.D. are fast! Even faster at stealing kills!"

Natasha walked to Zed's side calmly, unconcerned by his mockery:

"These vampires jumped out and sought their own deaths, S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn't just stand by and watch. Haven't seen you for a few days, and your power has grown again."

Zed didn't intend to answer Natasha, turning his head to look at Blade and beckoning with his hand.

Blade understood and removed the small bat from his belt, and Kiva's power returned to the Ridewatch.

Blade, holding the Ridewatch in his hand, shed his usual cold demeanor, appearing somewhat bashful as he wanted to say something, but couldn't bring himself to speak.

Zed guessed that Blade had indeed fallen for Kiva, even though Zed had a good impression of Blade. But Kiva was, after all, one of the Heisei era's twenty main Riders, a Ridewatch that had to be in his possession.

Zed sensed the power within the Kiva Ridewatch, and with a gesture of his hand...

Whoosh~

The Kiva Ridewatch slowly floated away from Blade's palm, then flew into Zed's hand.

Zed tossed the Kiva Ridewatch in his hand and said:

"I can't give you this Ridewatch. I have a great use for it!"

Natasha immediately realized that this bat-themed Ridewatch was absolutely crucial to Zed.

Natasha stared intently at the Ridewatch, wanting to memorize every detail, while also trying to recall the specific appearance of Blade's armor just now.

Blade sneered, forcing himself to be aloof.

"Hmph! I am Blade. I only trust my blade."

Blade's attempt at acting proud was obvious to anyone watching. Zed couldn't help but chuckle.

"There's nothing wrong with being honest. Let me see you get jealous!" Zed said, patting Blade on the shoulder.

"I am Blade!"

"Alright, alright."

Zed waved his hand, no longer teasing Blade, and took the lead, heading up the stairs and out of the ruins. Natasha and Blade followed close behind.

Natasha followed behind Zed and said: "You haven't used the Zangetsu Ridewatch in a long time. It probably doesn't help you much anymore, right?"

Zed guessed this was Nick Fury's intention and retorted:

"Is Nick Fury that naive? Even if I don't use it often, keeping the Zangetsu Ridewatch around is a good precaution. You think I'd actually give it to S.H.I.E.L.D.?"

Natasha didn't care about Zed's sarcasm and continued, "You just recalled the Ridewatch from Blade earlier. That shows you already have absolute control over the Ridewatches, right?"

"That's right. I can now completely control these Ridewatches," Zed said without hesitation.

There was nothing to hide about this information, and saying it could also discourage certain people from making any rash moves.

Natasha seemed to be casually chatting with Zed, but the questions she raised actually contained hidden meanings.

Natasha was assessing Zed's mental state based on his answers, expressions, and actions.

However, Zed didn't show any signs of mental issues. Instead, Natasha felt Zed was even more greedy and overbearing than before, and the whole person exuded a casual, lazy confidence.

Throughout the journey, Natasha and Zed chatted. Blade walked silently ahead of them, slaying all the surviving vampires along the way.

When the three of them exited the ruins, Woz and the others were already waiting. S.H.I.E.L.D.'s special operations team had also gathered there, keeping a respectful distance from Woz and his group.

Natasha, upon emerging, ordered the special ops team to enter the ruins for a thorough cleanup.

The narrow ruins were not conducive to human-vampire combat, so Blade took the initiative to lead the team back underground.

"This is my job," Blade said, flicking his trench coat and turning to leave with a flourish.

Zed, on the other hand, waved the Ridewatch in his hand enthusiastically at Woz: "Just got it! Haven't used it yet. Get ready to celebrate, Woz!"

After saying this, Zed immediately swapped the Chihaya Ridewatch and inserted the Kiva Ridewatch into the driver.

A bat phantom reappeared, attaching itself to Zed's back, and the spread wings closed, enveloping Zed.

A strange, eerie whistle pierced the air, followed by the thwack of bat wings unfurling. Zed transformed into Kamen Rider Zi-O - Kiva Armor.

Woz stepped forward and loudly proclaimed:

"Celebrate! The time king, who inherits the power of all Riders, who understands the past and the future, his name is Kamen Rider Zi-O. At this very moment, he inherits the power of another legendary Rider, Kamen Rider Kiva!"

As Woz finished speaking, a black dot appeared on the full moon in the sky.

The black dot grew larger and closer. Zed, with his exceptional eyesight, saw its true form – the Doran Dragon Castle!

"Awesome!"

Zed leaped into the air, flying upwards, and then landed atop Doran Dragon's head, overlooking the entire land. Mountains, lakes, forests, and ruins all seemed so small.

Zed's spirits were also stirred, and he shouted out to express his excitement.

"Is that a dragon or a castle?" Skye murmured in confusion from the ground.

Woz flipped open Ohma ZI-O's Book and consulted it:

"The Dragon Clan's strongest monster – Doran, later modified into a mobile fortress, is also the castle of the Vampire King. It truly suits the Demon King's status!"

Skye's eyes were already sparkling as she looked at the flying Doran Dragon Castle. Perhaps Skye also had dreams of princes, white horses, and castles.

Boom!

After the Doran Dragon Castle landed, it roared at everyone, displaying its title as the strongest of the Dragon Clan.

But Doran Dragon didn't know that its roar wasn't imposing at all; instead, it was very cute.

"We know you're cute, open the door! Stop messing around!" Zed patted Doran Dragon's head affectionately.

Doran Dragon, pleased with itself, opened the castle gates and welcomed Skye, Xin, and Woz inside.

Before Natasha could speak, Doran Dragon Castle flapped its wings and soared away, leaving the vampire ruins behind.

Natasha watched Doran Dragon Castle fly further and further away, then initiated a communication with Nick Fury:

"Sir, the first objective is complete. Zed Oleg's mental state shows no issues, or rather, has been effectively healed.

The second objective was not achieved, but I have confirmed that Zed Oleg can fully control the Ridewatches."

Nick Fury asked in a deep voice:

"What do you mean by 'fully control the Ridewatches'?"

"Zed just waved his hand, and the Ridewatch flew into his hand on its own. He himself admitted it," Natasha then described everything she had seen in detail.

"Very important Ridewatches? A flying castle dragon?"

Nick Fury tapped his fingers on the table, lost in thought. After a moment, he turned to Natasha.

"Then the chances of us acquiring the blank Ridewatch are higher. Natasha, this mission still falls to you."

"Consider it done."

Doran Dragon Castle, guided by Zed, flew into New York. It then deployed a distorted illusion, concealing its massive form, and slowly descended onto the top floor of the Illusion Dream Tower.

Once Zed had settled Doran Dragon Castle's landing, he finally had time to enter the castle itself.

Regal!

Luxurious!

The interior of Doran Dragon Castle exuded a noble, royal atmosphere. Curled chandeliers, flickering candlelight, and incomprehensible oil paintings all showcased the designer's refined taste.

Zed walked along the wall, heading deeper into the castle, his fingers lightly tracing the artistic patterns on the wall.

"Pretty nice!"

Zed didn't know much about art, but he had a basic sense of aesthetics. He specifically went around the entire castle, not just to admire his own castle, but also to see if there were any other good things inside.

But it was obvious Zed hadn't rolled a max-level Doran Dragon. The castle was empty, with nothing good left.

Zed shook his head and stopped thinking about it, stepping into the castle hall. At this time, Woz was already waiting beside the throne.

"My Demon King! Please take your seat, this is your place!" Woz saluted with one hand, clearing the way.

Zed didn't hesitate, walking directly to the throne and sitting down frankly: "Woz, celebrate!"

Woz's eyes rolled, then he was ecstatic: "Celebrate! The time king who inherits the power of all Riders, who understands the past and the future, his name is Kamen Rider Zi-O. This is the moment he reigns over the castle, history has turned a new page at this moment!"

Skye watched the two, who were so ridiculously middle school, covering her eyes and shaking her head, unable to bear to watch anymore. Even though she'd seen it many times, Skye still wasn't used to the two of them playing off each other like this.

Xin ignored the actions of Zed and Woz, standing calmly and seriously on Zed's right, earnestly guarding the Demon King on the throne.

Zed didn't sit for long before getting up from his seat, saying to himself: "Let's go, move! Let's move our room into the castle."

Skye, although she really wanted to live in the castle, didn't want to move in the middle of the night, which was a time-consuming and energy-consuming task: "Now? Look at the time! Go back to sleep! We'll move tomorrow!"

Zed turned to look at Xin and Woz, hoping they could help. But the two of them pretended not to see, looking up at the ceiling.

"Alright, alright, sleep!" Helpless, Zed waved his hand, ending this busy night.

Then Zed put his arms around Skye and Xin's waists and returned to his living room in the company.

After Zed, Skye, and Xin left, Woz quietly flipped through Ohma ZI-O's Book, muttering to himself: ---

"You know my origins, yet you don't care at all. You even keep helping me find opportunities to celebrate. You truly deserve the title of my Demon King, Your Majesty!"

Blade and the S.H.I.E.L.D. task force worked together to thoroughly clear the ruins, not missing a single vampire.

Natasha stood beside Blade and asked: "How does that armor feel to wear?"

Blade looked up at the moon, pondered for a long time, and then uttered a single word:

"Cool!"
