Chapter 44 - Chapter 44

Chapter 44

Several hours have passed. Azrael was sleeping peacefully in his room when he suddenly felt something—a surge of someone else's magic? An unsettling aura? He couldn't understand. Instinctively, he opened his eyes.

Rising abruptly from the bed, he scanned the room, but found no one. What was that? I need to check if Yuki is okay. He already knew where she was supposed to be, thanks to her unique aura.

"Activate skill: Aura."

Whoosh, whoosh.

His mind raced to find Yuki. But he didn't find her. He concentrated harder, putting all his strength into the search, and suddenly... He was gripped by a bad premonition, chilling his soul. In his mind's eye, he saw Solomon talking to the maid. But Yuki wasn't with them.

There is no Yuki. There is no Yuki. THERE is NO Yuki!

My little sister... although not blood-related... She's gone! Bitch, where is she?! WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!

His eyes snapped open.

WHOOSH, WHOOSH!

The explosion! His aura suddenly burst out with crushing force, flooding the entire manor. Grabbing his sword, he headed for the door, spewing waves of pure rage.

---

—Damn, where is she?" Solomon shouted, clutching the maid's arm. "Tell me!" "I don't know, sir! She suddenly disappeared! We're looking for her, but we can't find her!

"If he finds out she's missing, he'll destroy us! He has the strength to do it! Before, he only held back because of her, but now... She's gone... What to do? God, what should I do?!"

Whoosh, whoosh...

What... what is it? The aura? A monster? No... This aura is terrifying... No, no, no, no... Who is this?!

And suddenly — AN EXPLOSION!

The shockwave swept through the manor, instantly destroying half of the building. Solomon looked to his left in shock and saw the same teenager. Black hair, brown eyes that held nothing but overwhelming rage and malice.

He understood everything. "Damn..." thought Solomon, and his heart sank into his heels.

Great, then let's continue this fight-style scene. I tried to convey Azrael's furious rage and Solomon's reaction.

---

The dust slowly settled on the ruins.

Solomon staggered back, looking at the figure of a teenager standing among the rubble.

—Ah... Azrael...— the voice faltered.

But he didn't answer.

His aura was rushing out like a pack of wild beasts, ready to tear apart everything around him.

His eyes burned with a bloody light.

Whoosh…

Azrael disappeared from view.

— Wh—?!

Hit.

Solomon didn't even have time to raise his hand — he was thrown into the wall, the stones fell down.

—H-attack! The maid screamed, but she was immediately killed by a shockwave, and the girl lost consciousness.

The soldiers ran into the hall.

"To protect Mr. Solomon!"

But as soon as they lined up, Azrael attacked them.

The sword flashed.

The first soldier fell without even having time to shout.

The second one was hacked apart by an aura explosion.

The third one screamed, but his body was reduced to ashes by the flash.

Blood, dust, screams.

The manor was shaking.

— Stop! Solomon shouted, struggling to his feet. "You wouldn't dare destroy everything!" If Yuki is alive, you won't find her if…

Whoosh.

Azrael appeared in front of him, grabbing him by the throat.

"Tell me where she is..." his voice sounded hoarse, low, almost inhuman.

The aura was so oppressive that Solomon couldn't breathe.

He felt that one wrong word and he would be finished.

But Solomon, despite his fear, managed to say

, "I... I do not know."… But if you kill me, you'll never find her!

Azrael's eyes narrowed.

Rage seethed inside, demanding blood.

But the mind whispered: He may be right.…

The sword in Azrael's hand lit up with an aura flame.

—Then pray, Solomon, that she is alive." Because if not… I will wipe out not only this estate, but your entire family.

With that, he threw him to the floor, and the sword came down, plunging into the ground next to Solomon's head. The blast wave blew apart the remains of the wall.

The soldiers did not dare to approach.

There was only one feeling in the air—fear.

Solomon rose to his knees, panting.

"Stop!" "Stop it!" he shouted. — Call the elite guards!

Ten warriors in black armor emerged from the shadows of the corridors. Masks hid their faces, and their weapons shone with magical runes. Each of them is a master—level killer, battle-hardened.

They stepped forward synchronously, as a single organism.

"There is only one goal,— their captain said in a cold voice. — Destroy it.

Azrael did not move.

His aura raged and exploded around him, but there was only one thing in his eyes: rage.

—You...— he raised the sword, which now glowed with a red-black light. "They're already dead.

Whoosh!

Azrael took off like the darkness itself. The first of the guards didn't even have time to raise his shield — the sword went through his armor as if through paper. Blood splattered on the stone slabs.

"Attack!" The captain shouted.

The spells flashed. Fire arrows, ice spears, and lightning bolts shot at Azrael.

BANG!

The explosion of the aura threw the magic aside.

The wall was blown apart, and the roof began to collapse.

Azrael emerged from the cloud of smoke and struck. The sword cut through three at once. Their bodies flew apart like dolls.

The others surrounded him, trying to act in concert.

The captain struck with a spear enhanced with spatial magic. The tip should have penetrated any defense.

But Azrael caught the spear with his hand.

Squeezed it. The metal creaked and cracked.

—Weak...— he whispered coldly.

Whoosh.

A moment later, the captain's head fell to the floor.

The guards faltered. But it's too late.

Azrael's aura exploded again, turning the entire hall into a storm of destruction.

Dust, screams, blood.

None of the ten guards survived.

Azrael stood among the ruins, his chest heaving.

His eyes glowed with the fire of rage.

He looked up at Solomon.

—I said..." the voice was low, almost demonic. — If something happens to Yuki, no one will be saved.

Solomon felt a chill seeping into his bones.

At that moment, he realized that this was not just a teenager. This was a monster that couldn't be angered.
