I put my bag on my bed as i sighed deeply, laying at my bed and making myself comfortable. I faced my phone and saw my bestfriend smiling at the photo.

'I missed you beshy. ' I Wisphered as i kissed the photo remembering our memories together.

"Oh come on plum, you should try it. That game will blow your mind!" Keisha excitedly stated as she smirked at me.

I loves playing games. I think i've already played so much games such as COD, ML, PUBG, valorant, simulator games, etc.

"I'll get just bored."

"No you won't." Keisha exclaimed

" Then why aren't you playing it anymore? " I asked as she avoided my eyes.

"I got banned. "

"Huh? Why? What did you do??" I could see the hesitation in her eyes to answer

"Listen Plum, that game is a special game. That game could help you in everything but also could cost you a big prize." Keisha picked her another phone and started browsing, as if she wanted me to show something.

"This."

It's a picture of conversations with different people, but the profiles of each person are named with numbers.

"That game will help you a lot Plum, just follow the rules. "

I woke up as the sun hitting my face, my mom opened the curtains and telling me to woke up as the class starts at 8:00.

I glanced at my left side corner and saw a picture of me with Keisha my bestfriend. The remnants of the dream clung to me, manifesting as a sharp, throbbing pain that bloomed behind my eyes. It was a sudden, my bestfriend, triggered by the lingering echoes of the night.

The circumstances surrounding Keisha's disappearance are still a mystery, cloaked in unsolved questions and unsettling doubts. The inability to find closure still plagues me, and the specifics of that day are still a blur.

How did she disappear? Remembering her last words were all about the number. A number that I didn't even know what it means.

After taking a bath , i changed clothes and picked a bread on a table that mom did. I stormed out of the house after kissing her cheeks.

I went on a bus and sat near the window. A sudden man sat beside me, wearing a black glasses with a cap. His body was so manly, he's tall, his jaw were sharp as i gulped seeing his Adams apple.

"All done checking?" he asked, looking at me for a moment. His voice sent a chill down my spine, and I froze. The baritone was deep and resonant, commanding attention and suggesting a strength that made it unquestionably appealing. I could tell right away that the sound of it would make women swoon.

When the bus finally screeched to a stop, indicating that I had arrived at school, I felt a wave of relief. I saw the man from earlier getting up from his chair as I got up to collect my belongings. My first thought was, 'was he also a student here?' The idea persisted, giving the already exciting morning an air of mystery.

The smell of old books and forgotten papers filled my nostrils as I opened my locker. However, I sensed the man from the bus almost instantly. He was leaning against the very end of the locker row, standing idly at the corner. As I realized he was staring at me, his intense and unwavering gaze swept over me, and I swallowed hard, a knot forming in my stomach. The man's voice pierced the air as I slammed the locker door shut, the metallic clang resonating in the sudden silence, each word tinged with an eerie calm that chilled me to the bone.

"Your best friend is code 792, correct?"

"W-what? " I stuttered trying to understand what he is trying to say.

" Keshia Vella Cort, code 792. Is your best friend right? "

His words echoed in my head, and I froze, every muscle in my body tensing up. Instinctively, I took hold of his hand, clamping down with unexpected strength, and dragged him to the closest door, a dark storage room hidden at the end of the hall. I let go of his hand and spun around to face him as soon as I was inside, the musty air heavy with the smell of things long since forgotten, my voice quivering with a mix of anger and fear.

"What is this code you're referring to, and what do you know about her?"

"Download this our future code 999, You'll know about it. " A small

He moved in closer, supporting me against the wall's chilly, uneven surface. He gently but firmly tipped my chin up so that my eyes had to meet his. I couldn't understand the depth in his intense, dark eyes. His voice was a low murmur that seemed to reverberate through me as he said,

"Hey, Ms. Plum Cielo Guttierez," "If you want to know the whole story, just ask your connection partner."

I felt a wave of confusion. I had no husband, much less a boyfriend, so why was he referring to me as "Mrs. Guttierez?" My hand brushed against something tiny and rigid in my pocket as I struggled to understand what he was saying. My eyes widened in shock as I took it out and unfolded it.

It was a small, black piece of paper. On it was written the name of a game, followed by the number he had mentioned earlier: CODE 999.
