Luna sat on the floor of her apartment, eyes swollen from tears, when her phone buzzed.
A message from Max.
"Turn on the live stream. Now."
With trembling hands, she opened it—
and froze.
Jayden's voice poured out of the screen.
Raw. Hoarse. Broken.
But every word was her name.
"Even if the world calls us wrong… my heart only calls your name."
The crowd in the bar swayed with lighters in the air, tears streaming.
The comments flooded in:
"He still loves her."
"This is the realest love story I've ever seen."
"Protect Jayden and Luna at all costs!"
Luna's heart cracked open.
Even in pain, even in doubt—his song reached her.
The next morning, paparazzi caught Luna outside, no bodyguards, no disguise.
Cameras flashed, voices shouted.
"Luna! Is it true you've broken up with Jayden?"
"Do you have anything to say about your father's crimes?"
She stopped.
For once, she didn't hide.
Taking a deep breath, Luna raised her chin.
"My father made mistakes. But I am not my father. I will not let his sins destroy the love I've found."
The crowd gasped.
Some cursed.
But others—applauded.
That night, Jayden's phone lit up with a clip.
Luna's words spreading online.
Her voice steady. Her eyes fierce.
For the first time in weeks, Jayden smiled through his tears.
"She's fighting."
Max clapped him on the shoulder. "So should you."
Meanwhile, in her penthouse, Crystal threw a vase against the wall, shards scattering like her patience.
"No, no, no! Why won't they break?!"
Her assistant whispered nervously, "Because they're stronger together."
Crystal's eyes glinted with cold fury.
"Then I'll tear them apart from the inside. If love is their weapon… I'll make it their weakness."
She pulled out a new folder.
This time, with photos.
Intimate, dangerous photos.
Of Jayden.
With another woman.

The Trap
The headlines hit like bombs:
"Jayden's Secret Affair Exposed!"
"Photos Reveal Jayden with Mystery Woman"
"Luna Betrayed Again?"
The pictures spread everywhere—
Jayden laughing with a woman at a hotel bar, another of her leaning close, one blurry shot that looked like a kiss.
The internet exploded:
"Wow… he really played Luna."
"Men like him never change."
"Poor Luna. First her father, now this?"
Luna's phone rang nonstop.
Her manager begged her to deny everything.
Her company urged her to cut ties with Jayden immediately.
But Luna sat frozen, staring at the photos.
Her chest tightened.
Her mind screamed: He wouldn't… would he?
The memory of Jayden's song echoed in her heart.
But doubt was poison—and it was seeping in.
Across the city, Jayden slammed the photos on the table in front of Max.
"This is fake! You know me—I'd never—"
Max held up his hands. "I believe you. But the world doesn't. You need proof."
Jayden's voice cracked. "Proof? Against Crystal's money and power? She owns the media, Max! How do I fight this?"
His phone buzzed.
A message from Luna.
One line.
"Tell me it isn't true."
Jayden's throat closed. His fingers shook as he typed back:
"It's not. Please, believe me."
But the message showed read—
and no reply came.
Meanwhile, Crystal watched from her penthouse, a glass of champagne in hand.
Her lips curved into a razor smile.
"Trust is fragile. And I've just snapped theirs in half."
That night, Luna stood alone on the rooftop where their story began.
The city lights blurred with her tears.
She whispered into the empty air,
"Jayden… if you're lying to me, I don't know if I can survive it."

Shattered Trust
Jayden waited on the rooftop, drenched in moonlight, clutching his guitar like it was the only thing keeping him standing.
Every sound of footsteps made his heart race.
Finally, she came.
Luna.
Her eyes were red from crying, but her posture was stiff, guarded.
"Tell me it's not true," she whispered.
Jayden stepped forward, desperate. "It's not. Luna, those photos—they're fake. A setup. You have to believe me."
But her hands trembled. Her voice cracked.
"I want to. God, I want to. But every time I close my eyes, I see them. You and her. And it feels so real."
Jayden's chest ached. He reached for her hands, but she pulled away.
"Luna, please. Look at me. I've lied about a lot of things in my life—where I slept, how much I had in my pocket. But I would never lie about you. Never."
Her lips quivered. "Then why does it hurt this much?"
Silence.
Only the sound of the city below, loud and indifferent.
Jayden strummed his guitar suddenly, his voice breaking as he sang—not to the world this time, but to her.
"If lies could steal your heart away,
I'd tear the world apart to prove them wrong.
But if you doubt me now,
then maybe my song was never strong enough…"
Tears streamed down Luna's cheeks.
She turned away, whispering,
"I don't know if I can trust you anymore."
And then—she walked off the rooftop.
Leaving Jayden on his knees, guitar slipping from his hands, echoing into silence.
Far away, Crystal watched the newsfeed of Luna storming out of the building.
Her smirk widened.
"Broken. Just like I planned."
But her assistant looked uneasy.
"Ma'am… he's not giving up. Even after all this, he's still fighting for her."
Crystal's eyes glinted.
"Then let him fight. The harder he fights, the deeper he'll bleed."
