Chapter 4 - New ability

Shop Status: Level 0]

[Upgrade Requirement: 1000 origin Points]

The inscriptions on the wall shimmered, reshaping themselves into living runes. Aion's breath hitched as the words carved themselves into being, radiant with silver light.

The voice, calm yet inexorable, whispered in his mind:

"To grow the shop, you must complete missions or conduct transactions. Points are the roots that feed its awakening."

Lines of light stretched across the chamber, forming three glowing tasks before Aion's eyes:

Mission I – Advance one beast to Elite tier.

Reward: 250 origin points

Mission II – Evolve one beast

Reward: 800 origin points

Mission III – Analyze one spirit material of rank 2 or above

Reward: 50 origin points

After stepping beyond the threshold of the shop, Aion paused, his gaze lingering upon the entrance as countless thoughts swirled within his mind. Questions, doubts, and an unspoken yearning churned in the silence. At last, he whispered into the still air, "How shall I return this time?"

No answer stirred the silence. Instead, a subtle warmth blossomed on the back of his right hand. Before his eyes, lines of silver fire intertwined, forming an ancient mark—its design a flowing circle broken by three fangs, pulsing with the weight of forgotten eras. It glowed faintly, like the heartbeat of some slumbering beast.

Then came the flood.

Knowledge poured into him—not lofty truths of the cosmos, but the grounded wisdom of a Beast Master. He saw how to read the footprints of spirit beasts in soil damp with dew, how to tell venomous fangs from harmless ones by the hue of their enamel, how to sense the breath of hidden predators when the forest grew unnaturally still. He learned to recognize spirit herbs that glowed faintly under moonlight, and ores whose veins thrummed with latent energy if struck with the right resonance. The simplicity of it all was profound in its own way, the raw foundation upon which greater paths could be built.

Instantly, understanding poured into his mind. Through this seal, he could return to the shop at will, its doors answering only to him. And more than that—his eyes burned with newfound sight.

A line of words etched themselves into his thoughts:

[Origin Insight Unlocked]

With a single glance, he could now discern the essence of beasts and materials, their hidden qualities unfolding before him. The clarity of this vision depended on his own strength—at his current level, he would glimpse only fragments. But as he grew, so too would the depth of insight, revealing entire bloodlines, hidden weaknesses, and untapped potential.

Aion's breath caught. This… this was no mere gift. This was divine.

And then, the voice whispered once more, warm yet commanding:

"Keeper of Origin… this is but your first blessing. Guard it well—for through your eyes, the shop itself now sees."
