Carlos's POV
I clenched my fist in silent fury. Rage consumed me as I thought about Amara, who had the audacity to cause Grace such devastating emotional pain when Grace had shown her nothing but kindness.
Amara was the one who crushed Grace under the weight of countless unreasonable demands, and whenever Grace refused to bend to her will, that witch would threaten to call their mother with lies that could trigger a heart attack, forcing Grace to comply or watch their mother die.
Now she had the nerve to defame Grace, twisting their roles and blaming Grace for every vile thing Amara herself had done to their mother. She even managed to squeeze out crocodile tears to sell her performance, though I knew she was probably cackling with glee inside.
This despicable woman was utterly without shame. Amara's wickedness was so revolting that instead of guilt, I felt eager anticipation about sending her to that ice coffin I'd prepared in the frozen wasteland.
