"Vita, I need you to remain here with me," Andrew declared.
Amara felt blindsided by his words. She found it impossible to accept that Mr. Sinclair, who supposedly harbored feelings for her, would choose to keep this Asian woman close!
This felt like a complete betrayal!
"Mr. Sinclair, how dare you?! Can't you tell that I despise her?! I refuse to share the same space with her!" Amara exclaimed. "If you insist on her staying, then I'm walking out!"

"I could certainly remove Vita from the room, Miss Ian. However, we're swamped with work, so if you want her gone, then you'll need to assist me with all those papers," Andrew gestured toward the towering pile of documents at the table's far end.
