"Obviously I want to give him a baby! I want my own child too!" The fury coursed through my veins as the topic hit a nerve. Hot tears threatened to spill from the corners of my eyes after holding them back all night, but I quickly brushed them away.
'I refuse to shed tears over that worthless excuse for a man. It's degrading,' I told myself firmly.
I'd soaked long enough. Rising from the bathtub, I reached for my towel and caught sight of myself in the oversized bathroom mirror.
