As I walked towards the village chief's house, I was thinking about what grandpa told me, although it didn't really affect me. I am also curious about my true identity, and how that card knew I'll be there, could this body have come from another world like my soul? Ahh, this transmigration shit is too stressful. Ian sighed. I'd better stop thinking about it.
I didn't really like going to the village chief's house, not because I didn't like it, but because his house was at the other end of the village, opposite ours.
I don't really know how those two became friends, with their houses this far apart from each other.
Hahn, Ian sighed as he continued walking.

Back at the house
Father, is today the day you saw in your vision? Ian's uncle asked with a solemn expression. Yes, son, today is the day I saw in my vision. Grandpa replied.
Father, is the fortune card secured, Uncle asked.
You and I don't need to worry ourselves with that.
The card is beyond ordinary means; it can't be found unless it wants to.
Well, it's good you sent Ian away, I hope he can take care of himself after we're gone, Uncle said. Have you ever seen him flustered? Grandpa chuckled? I'm pretty sure he would take care of himself well when we are gone.
Just as they were talking, a portal appeared above the compound.
In the main house, grandpa looks towards the door, We have visitors, he said. Uncle and Grandpa stood up and came outside. Two men came out from the portal and floated down slowly.
The two men were dressed in military style outfits; from the aura they were giving out, it was obvious they were not ordinary people in the military. They were definitely high in rank.
Are you the guardians of the divine card? The man on the right asked.
I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about. We're just an ordinary father and son in this village. Grandpa replied.
The military man on the right looked at them. For an ordinary father and son, they didn't look scared upon seeing them, nor did they show any reaction. They even looked unfazed. This surprised the man. These two were definitely not ordinary, he said in his mind.
The man on the left looked at the two of them with an arrogant expression. You'd better know what is good for you. Give us the divine card, and we might consider sparing you. He also noticed these two were not ordinary, so he was being cautious; if not, he would have killed them already.
Kind gentlemen, as you have heard from my father, we don't know anything about any chaos card. Uncle said to the two military men.
Let's stop wasting time with these bumpkins, the arrogant man said to his companion. His aura started to increase. He was trying to pressure them.
The man on the right just watched and did nothing. But he noticed that the father and son didn't flinch before the aura his comrade was releasing. These two truly aren't simple. He said in his mind.
He held his companion's hand, and Luke held on. He looked at the father and son duo. Look, we are not here for trouble. Just give us the divine card and we won't have to trouble you. If not, he didn't complete his words, but he let out a threatening glare.
Like I said before, we do not know of any divine card. You should go back to where you came from. Uncle replied.
Playing dumb, huh, so that's how you want to do it. I've given you enough chances. The arrogant general spoke. He then released his grip on Luke's hand.
Luke smiled. He then rushed towards the two of them. As he appeared in front of the father and son duo, he raised his fist and threw a punch at the son. He could already see his face getting pummeled. Before he knew it, the man he was about to punch raised his hand and stopped his fist.
Luke's companion John was surprised. He knew Luke's strength well; both of them were roughly on the same level, yet his punch was stopped easily, and Luke was not holding back.
Luke was already at the limit of the sixth phase. That strength was enough to put Luke at the upper echelon of this world. An ordinary person wouldn't be able to see his movement, not to mention stopping it.
Luke was surprised. This unassuming man was able to stop his attack, but he quickly recovered. He tried to pull back his hand, but it wouldn't budge. His hand was held tightly by the man before him, which gave him another shock. He then held the man talk.
I gave both of you a chance to live, but you didn't treasure it. Don't blame me for keeping you here.
Uncle let go of Luke's hand, before Luke could even move, he felt a huge force hit him, then he spiraled backwards.
John, the other soldier, upon seeing Luke shooting his way, tried to catch Luke. As his hands came in contact with Luke's body, he was pushed back; he only managed to regain his footing after taking more than a dozen steps back.
John and Luke looked at each other. There was a grave expression on their face. They looked at Uncle, like they were looking at a great enemy.
A silver card appeared in John's hand, which he then crushed. The card dissipated into particles that formed a strange symbol in the air, and flew upwards and disappeared.
We underestimated both of you, but this fight is far from over. John said with a determined gaze. Luke, release your card. John shouted.
Between the index and middle fingers of Luke was a black card engraved with three purple lines. The card had seven white stars on the back. On the front of the card was a long golden saber, which he tossed into the air. As it soared upward, the card transformed into a radiant golden saber.
John did the same, but instead of a saber, he held a pair of red boxing gloves in his hands.
John and Luke rushed towards uncle, and for the first time, uncle moved. The fight had started, and Uncle faced both of them unarmed. The battle was intense. Yet the buildings still stood, but if they kept fighting, it was bound to draw attention.
Uncle, noticing this, led the two into the back forest to fight without drawing attention.
Grandpa watched all this with an unreadable expression on his face.
