30 mins after grandpa and uncle left. The suppression holding Donald down was gone; he stood up with an angry but relieved expression on his face.
He was lucky that Augustus didn't bother to deal with him. The thought of that made him grind his teeth in anger. That someone he looked down on was stronger than him. The thought of that made him want to go crazy. How did he get so strong? He wondered. No, I've to tell this to the protectors.
He looked around the compound, not wanting to miss anything. Only two buildings were here. Seeing that nothing was amiss, he turned around to see John standing and looking dazed.
John was distraught after everything that happened. Donald snorted. John looked at him. Noticing the annoyed expression on Donald's face, he quickly regained his bearing and stood straight.
He brought out a black card and poured energy into it. The card glowed, and light rays shot out of it, forming a portal, which he stepped into. John quickly followed after him.
As the two of them left, a building appeared in the compound. Making it three buildings in the compound. The building that appeared was the ancestral building.
The building stood they, as if it had always been there. If one looked closely, one would notice a faint golden barrier covering the building.

At the other end of this part of the village. Ian arrived at the village chief's house.
He went inside, and he saw Leonard watering flowers in the front yard. They both looked at each other and nodded their heads as a sign of greeting.
Leonard was the village chief's grandson. He was tall, with slender skin; his hair was black in color, smooth, and shone with a strange luster; it was also long, the tip reaching his waist, like his grandfather's. He looked like those flower boys in Asian TV dramas.
Leonard always had a quiet personality; he doesn't speak much. But he's very hardworking. He's famous in the village for that. Parents made him a role model for young kids, especially the lazy kids, like me. He is the village golden boy.
Leo, I'm here to see your grandpa. Is he around? I asked him. He nodded and pointed his hand towards the backyard. He's in the backyard; he has been waiting for you for a while now.
I nodded my head. As I was about to go, I saw Leonard stop what he was doing, then he followed me.
I looked at him, wondering why he was following me. Noticing my look, he quickly spoke, Grandpa said he wants to speak to both of us," and looked at me, and spoke.
As I reached the backyard, I saw the village chief tending to some plants. Although he was old, he still looked fit and very healthy, even more than my grandpa. He turned around.
Ian, you're here. I've been waiting for you. Come sit, he pointed towards a wooden chair. I smiled and sat. Leonard found himself a chair and sat down.
Grandpa Mark, how have you been? I asked warmly. I'm good, as you can see, He replied. I nodded and continued. My grandpa sent me, he said I should come get something.
His expression changed slightly as he stared into space for a moment. Then he sighed, looked at Ian, and spoke.
"Ian, I know you're mature enough, so I won't beat around the bush," he said sternly. He continued, "By now, your grandpa and uncle should have left." He glanced at me briefly before continuing, "As for where they went, you don't need to know that right now."
"Soon, you and Leo will be leaving this place." Leo looked at him with wide eyes, wondering why he had suddenly been included in the conversation.
"You boys might not know this, but this village is in a secret realm, and you are about to leave that realm and enter the outside world," he explained, letting his words sink in as he looked at us.
The fact that I was living in a secret realm all this time came as a surprise to me. I looked at the incredulous expression that was on Leonard's face. Looks like he didn't know anything about this.
Are you coming with us? Leonard asked? No, I'm not coming. I still have things to do. Grandpa said.
Not letting us catch our breath, he continued. You boys don't need to worry about anything. I'll provide you with the most important thing you need on your journey. He laughed lightly.
Two golden cards appeared in his hand. Money, he said while smiling at them. Ian, your grandfather told me to give you this, and Leonard, this is for you. He gave each of us our card.
When you reach any town or city, you can use this card to withdraw your money.
Someone will also go with you, boys; he'll accompany you two and take care of you. He'll tell you everything you need to know.
Two cards appeared in his hands again; these were purple in color. These are storage cards, presently you can't access them, cos you don't have any world energy in your body. Just keep them safe for now. When you reach the school, they will teach you how to bind your soul card.
Don't ask me what world energy is, you'll learn that in school. Grandpa Mark stopped them from asking any questions.
Ian and Leonard looked at him with wide eyes. The thought of going to school was something they didn't expect.
I know both of you are confused. But you don't need to worry, you'll both be alright. The person accompanying you is very capable.
That should be all, you both can go now, prepare yourselves. Tomorrow at noon, both of you are leaving the village.
Grandpa, when are we coming back? Leonard looked at his grandpa and asked.
I won't lie to you boys; I don't think you will be coming back here again. He replied. Don't bother yourself with this. When it's time, you'll see me again. Same for you, Ian. Grandpa Mark spoke with a smile.
He then looked at me and spoke. Ian, you should grow up now, stop being lazy all the time. This journey is exactly what you need to sharpen and hone yourself into a fine warrior.
But I don't want to be a warrior. I looked at him and replied.
This matter is not up to you. He laughed. Go home and pack your things. I'll see you here tomorrow.
