The lizard jumped.
But it didn't fly much. It hit his neck and kept going.
Raizen's hands came up - too slow, too late. The creature was already past his collarbone, tiny feet gripping on fabric, moving with a speed that had no business existing in something that small. It reached his neckline in a fraction of a second and disappeared.
Into his shirt.
Raizen felt it - felt the small body on his bare skin, sliding down the inside of his collar, felt the sharp little feet pricking against his chest as it scrambled deeper into the space between fabric and flesh. Cold skin against warm skin. Moving fast. Moving down.
He panicked.
His back hit the platform before he made a conscious decision to fall. One second he was standing, the next he was on the ground - flat on his back, arms flailing, hands grabbing at his own shirt with the desperate, uncoordinated movements of someone who'd just discovered something alive inside their clothes and had immediately lost all motor function.
