After his acceptance and determination to manipulate his way into Stephanie's life, he went to his bedroom and slept.
The next day quickly arrived with the sunlight reflecting directly to his face.
Liam rolled slowly on his spacious bed when he had a knock on his door. It was his personal maid, she came to inform him that his father was calling him and he needs to dress modestly because they were heading to the law court for the change of his identity from Maxwell's to Gideon's.
Liam speedily rose from his bed and prepared to go to the Law court with his father.
When they arrived, Liam was showed his new parents, the Gideon's.
Liam thought they had no children, but his father told him that he now has siblings because he is no longer bearing Maxwell, he is now a Gideon so he should take them has his siblings. Although his father would be the one to cater for him and the Gideon's family while he's with them.
"Hello young man, Gideon.
"Hello, Sir, Liam replied.
Maxwell and his wife wasn't happy with this decision, but they had no other option than to take the risk in order to get the cake.
Then they walked into the court room, where Liam had his identity officially changed. Liam felt sad, but he cheered up.
After changing his identity, Liam's new father Gideon introduced him to his siblings named Jack and Aurora, who are older than him with a few years.
The Maxwell's and Gideon's family spent few hours there, then they went their different destination.
When Liam reached he was marveled at his new home designs, he didn't expect to leave that very wealthy lifestyle in a sudden just because he needs to accomplish a mission.
Also, he didn't intend letting go of that dispute that had began when he hadn't been born, so he stayed.
Not accustomed to the place, he acted strange, staring at everything with disgust and questioning the way the furnitures are arranged.
"In as much as I like to accomplish the mission, I won't want to live in such a place, disgusting and stinking. This place literally spells the word poverty, Liam.
Gideon was baffled, he thought he understood the mission, he wasn't meant to live in luxury in order to deceive the Rodrigos and accomplish the mission. But now that he's acting this way, he made Gideon skeptical about the whole plan.
"Perhaps with time he is going to realize how the plan goes and forget about his luxurious lifestyle at the moment until the mission is executed, Gideon mumbled.
Liam was still raged and soliloquizing, when Jack walked up to him trying to inquire how he feels. Liam who doesn't respond to everyone, snubbed Jack like he's a piece of thrash.
Jack felt bad and walked away, to him he just wanted to help him get use to the environment.
The next day, Liam woke up as early as possible, he wanted to visit Stephanie but the place was too far, so he called on Jack to escort him there.
Jack felt amazed, he normally isn't permitted by his parents to go out, unless he had an important place to be at, therefore without delay he went along with Liam.
When they reached, Liam asked Jack to wait for him at the entrance to the gate of the mansion, while he goes inside the mansion to meet Stephanie.
When Liam reached the gate of the mansion, he was already known by the gate keepers. So they welcomed him in to the mansion.
From a distance he saw Stephanie walking down the stairs holding a pot of flowers that she intend laying in her garden.
He rushly ran to her, pretentiously breathing heavily. He expected her to ask him why he was breathing so he could narrate the walking distance he took to her place.
"Why breathing so fast ? Stephanie asked.
"It because I trekked down miles just to come visit you, Liam.
Stephanie smiled contagiously, she never expected such a reply.
Liam took the flower pot from her, and they both went to the garden and started planting.
Maxwell looked at them through his window smiling. In as much as he was happy about their friendship, yet he didn't want anyone to hurt his daughter, because if anyone does he would personally ruin the person's life.
"So what do you intend studying in the university after graduation ? Stephanie.
"i'm interested in business, Liam.
"Wow! Sounds intriguing, so what type of business do you want to specialize in ? Stephanie.
Liam chuckled softly, he intend telling her that she's too inquisitive but he kept shut because of his mission.
"I would love to go into shipping of goods, but I heard there's a lot of risk so I would rather venture into Furniture designs, Liam replied.
Jack felt tired of waiting, he has been standing there for two hours patiently waiting for Liam to come, but he didn't see him.
While Jack was waiting, Madam Clara was coming from afar in her luxury car, then Jack hid behind some flowers until she passed.
After they finished planting the flowers in the garden, Stephanie took him inside for some snacks.
Liam who's pretending to be poor, snarfed the chocolate cookies and apple juice while Stephanie watched him with gentle humour.
"It's been long I ate such delicious cookies, Liam said.
"Well, I have been eating it, I'm starting to get tired of it, Stephanie.
Liam looked at her with his squinted eyes and soft smile, while he said in his mind.
"The mission has just kicked off, Liam.
Then Stephanie's mother entered the sitting room.
"My mom's back, Stephanie.
Then she walked majestically and welcomed her mother, while Liam stood up with fake tension just to honor her presence.
"Liam, Clara called.
"Yes ma'am, Liam.
"It's nice having you here, feel relax. Clara.
"I'll love to stay, but I need to leave, thanks ma'am, Liam said with great urge to leave.
Liam went outside and heading towards the gate, while Stephanie stood by the door and wave at him.
