Chapter 73 - Ch.73

Luo Guang rode his motorcycle back to the villa. Seeing him return, Asia Argento immediately ran over, worried. "Mr. Luo Guang, what was that commotion outside? I heard a lot of people yelling, and there were explosions!"

"It's all taken care of. Everything's fine now," Luo Guang said, patting her head. He then reached out and patted Est's head as well. "Don't worry. I wouldn't do anything I wasn't sure I could handle."

"Master, if you ever go into battle again, please take me with you. My sword will clear every obstacle for you!" Est said seriously.

"Of course. If it's a dangerous fight, I won't hesitate to use your power, Est. But for this opponent, Draig was enough," Luo Guang said with a slight laugh.

Hearing this, Draig immediately spoke up. "Hey, hey, partner, don't be so disrespectful! I am the great Red Dragon Emperor after all!"

"If you think you're stronger than Est, then I'll agree with what you said," Luo Guang replied. This instantly choked up Draig. In his prime as the original Red Dragon Emperor, he would have arrogantly challenged Est. But after being turned into a Sacred Gear by the God of the Bible, his mind had matured and become much more cunning. He wouldn't mention that his peak strength was already less than Est's true form, but as a weapon, he was inferior to Est, the Demon-Slaying Holy Sword, in terms of attributes.

"Then let's just talk about Juggernaut Drive," Draig quickly changed the subject.

"Juggernaut Drive only needs a first test. I can use it whenever I want," Luo Guang said. "Alright, you should go to sleep now." With that, Luo Guang tossed Draig's Sacred Gear into his Spirit Dimension.

He had other gains, but for now, it was time for bed. Kuoh City was destined to have a sleepless night. However, with Rias, Sona, and the other devil soldiers brought by Serafall taking over the scene, the impact of the incident on the human world would completely disappear.

After giving a few instructions, Serafall hurried back to the Underworld's capital, Lilith. Inside the castle, she met Sirzechs Lucifer and Grayfia Lucifuge, who were both in their offices.

"You two are here? Where are Falbium and Ajuka?"

"They both went to the border. The situation there is good for now," Sirzechs said, looking up. "How is Rias?"

"Oh, your sister and my sister are both fine. They didn't even get hurt. The two girl holy sword wielders from the Church aren't dead, either, just injured. Your sister took them back to settle them in," Serafall said, relaying what she had learned in the human world.

At this, Grayfia raised an eyebrow. "What about Kokabiel? Did you kill him?"

"Not me, it was Luo Guang. The battle was already over by the time I brought the army to the human world," Serafall shook her head. Even though Sona was fine, she knew that her sister had been chased by Kokabiel, who was playing a cat-and-mouse game, all the way from the neighboring city of Hachioji to Kuoh. She was somewhat disappointed that she didn't get to kill him herself.

"Luo Guang? He did it?" Hearing the familiar name, Sirzechs and Grayfia looked at each other.

"How could he have the power to defeat Kokabiel?"

"The first time I saw him was at my sister's marriage challenge. He had only just gotten his Sacred Gear a few days before and not only did he manage to use his Balance Breaker, but he also defeated an old veteran like Kokabiel. Isn't that a little too unbelievable?" Sirzechs wondered if what he had seen before was not Luo Guang's full power. But, wasn't this growth rate too fast?

"Grayfia, do you know what's going on?" Sirzechs asked.

"...Every era has its geniuses, but Luo Guang is different. From a logical standpoint, I personally believe that something in a certain mechanism must have gone wrong after the God of the Bible died."

"He can practice both holy light and magic, and he was able to use his Balance Breaker just a few days after receiving his Longinus. He can easily deal with a Fallen Angel executive..." Sirzechs said with emotion. "At this rate, I'm starting to wonder if he's the reincarnation of the God of the Bible."

When he said this, the air in the office went terrifyingly silent. Serafall and Grayfia both stared at him.

"What?" Sirzechs asked.

"Don't tell a joke like that again. The reincarnation of the God of the Bible, that's really scary," Serafall said. Even just hearing the name, the three highest-ranking devils present couldn't help but get goosebumps. For devils, the story of the God of the Bible was like a ghost story for humans. It was just too terrifying.

The three tacitly agreed not to continue the topic.

"I've already contacted the Grigori. Azazel, the Governor of the Fallen Angels, said that this was a private action by Kokabiel, and he knew nothing about it beforehand. He also said that he sent his subordinate to stop Kokabiel, but they were too late," Grayfia continued. "They also proposed a meeting between the three faction leaders."

"We'll have to accept that reason. The details can wait until the three-way summit," Sirzechs nodded. After this incident, it was indeed time to have a serious talk.

The three continued to carry out their duties. After leaving the office, Grayfia's expression changed slightly. The name "Luo Guang" was starting to feel very familiar to her.

Meanwhile, in a city in the human world, a mature-looking middle-aged man with a small yellow tuft of hair in his fringe, wearing a loose black kimono, lay lazily on a sofa with a small sake bottle in his hand. At that moment, there was a sound from the front door.

Seeing a fleeting flash of white light and the figure of a young man with short silver hair who appeared after it disappeared, Azazel said, "You're back, Vali." He glanced over. But the moment he saw that Vali had returned alone, his lazy expression vanished, and he sat up, looking serious. He seemed to have guessed something. "Where is that bastard, Kokabiel?"

"He's dead," Vali, the White Dragon Emperor, said calmly.
