Chapter 69 - Ch.69

He tried to grab Luo Guang's head and crush it in front of everyone.

However, Luo Guang remained unhurried. Facing Kokabiel's hand, which was a blur of motion, he reacted with effortless ease and seized the Fallen Angel's wrist. Kokabiel instinctively pulled back, but Luo Guang immediately exerted force. Accompanied by the rapid and loud "boost" sound effect, he snapped Kokabiel's wrist.

"Ugh, ahhhhhh!"

With his wrist broken, Kokabiel cried out in pain, his expression a mix of shock and disbelief as he stared at Luo Guang. How could a mere human possess such immense strength?

But Luo Guang didn't waste any time. After gaining the advantage, he immediately closed the distance, kicking directly at Kokabiel's face. Kokabiel blocked with his single good arm, but his body was still shaken by the immense power, forcing him to take several steps back.

Luo Guang was a little surprised. The last time, when he casually threw a punch at Tatara, Tatara was severely wounded. But the Fallen Angel executive, after taking an even stronger punch, only retreated. He truly lived up to his name as a mythological being.

However, Kokabiel's eyes were filled with disbelief. He was actually beaten back by a human?! His opponents were beings on the level of the God of the Bible, Lucifer, and Michael, and now he was being beaten like this by a human. It was utterly humiliating.

After the initial shock, Kokabiel was instantly enraged. He fully spread his five pairs of wings, quickly putting distance between himself and Luo Guang. He wasn't stupid. Since Luo Guang was good at close-quarters combat, he would just fight from a distance. The tall figure quickly flew into the sky, and with his other good arm, he instantly condensed a Holy Spear. At the same time, more and more Light Spears appeared behind him.

"Die, all of you!" he sneered.

The Light Spears fell from the sky like rain. From a distance, it looked as if a downpour of light was descending. Rias and the others were all caught in it, their faces filled with despair.

However, Luo Guang snapped his fingers. He manipulated the water gushing from a fire hydrant, turning it into water arrows to meet the attack. Kokabiel's large-scale assault was completely neutralized by Luo Guang's water manipulation. When he saw this, Kokabiel's eyes widened. Was this human not only close to him in physical strength, but in magical power as well?!

Sona was also shocked to see the seemingly inescapable situation so easily reversed by Luo Guang. She recognized the water magic; it was the magic of the Sitri family, which Luo Guang was cultivating. But he had only been given a few days, and he was already more proficient than her, even capable of fighting a Fallen Angel executive?

She felt a sense of frustration. Just who was the successor of the Sitri family?

"Damn you! Who exactly are you? And you can use magic too!" Kokabiel couldn't believe it. He was being serious now. Was it a joke that his attack was neutralized just like that? "Don't get too arrogant!"

If a tiger doesn't show its might, do you think it's a sick cat? Kokabiel was not going to stick to his plan. Wait for the Underworld's reinforcements to arrive before killing Rias and Sona? He wanted everyone here to die right now!

Kokabiel's broken arm had mostly recovered. As an executive, his recovery was superhuman. He raised his arms high, and a torrent of holy power took the shape of a spear in his hands. But it didn't stop there. The holy power continued to compress, and the Light Spear continued to grow. In just a few seconds, the Light Spear was the size of a building. The holy power it emitted made devils like Rias feel a primal fear.

Upon seeing his master, Kokabiel, act like this, Valper didn't care about anything else and fled into the distance in a panic. The rest of the subordinates also scattered. They were willing to die for the Fallen Angel executive, but Kokabiel was clearly not going to give them a chance to live.

"Oh no! Kokabiel is going to destroy the entire city!" Sona cried out in disbelief.

"This is bad!" Rias pursed her lips. She wanted to help but was powerless. All she could do was activate a magical barrier. Even so, it was uncertain whether it would hold. As a top-ranking Fallen Angel executive, Kokabiel possessed the power to destroy an entire town.

And it was a city. Even though Kuoh City wasn't big, it still covered hundreds of square kilometers. At 60 kilometers per hour, it would take at least half an hour to drive around it. Yet, Kokabiel could destroy such a city with a single attack.

"Getting angry, are you? Well, you've lived long enough." Luo Guang's expression remained unchanged. If anything, he was a little pleased at the moment. Not because of the fight, but because he now had the power to easily crush a Fallen Angel executive.

The next second, a tidal wave of scarlet armor quickly enveloped Luo Guang's body. A scorching gale swept across the ground, and a crimson metal tail swayed freely in the wind. The sight of him in his Balance Breaker form shocked everyone present.

"The Red Dragon Emperor?!" Kokabiel stared at the figure below, his expression one of astonishment. Why didn't he know that Luo Guang was the host of this generation's Red Dragon Emperor?

"He's so beautiful..." Rias's mouth was slightly agape. Although it wasn't the first time she had seen Luo Guang transform, she was still awestruck. There were no flashy movements or words; everything was so natural.

"So this is the Red Dragon Emperor's Balance Breaker," Sona murmured. The last time she saw it was on a magical screen, but witnessing it firsthand brought her a shock that was even greater than what Kokabiel had caused.

"A guy with a Longinus, how utterly annoying! You damned Red Dragon, are you trying to defy me!" With a mix of old and new hatred, Kokabiel forcefully threw down the Light Spear that was powerful enough to flatten Kuoh City. It was like a missile, a meteor. For humans and devils like Rias, this was a world-ending power.

However, Luo Guang charged forward to meet it. Scarlet magical power swirled around his body, making him look like a massive dragon. The Light Spear was only held in place for less than half a second before it was pierced.

"You damned... Red Dragon!" Kokabiel's expression twisted as he watched Luo Guang so easily tear through his strongest attack.

Luo Guang turned the magical aura that had just swelled up in his hand into a blade of light and swung it. It hit Kokabiel's body with perfect precision, nearly slicing him open from his left shoulder to his right hip. He then fell from the sky to the ground.

"I... I fought the God of the Bible! Why..." The Fallen Angel executive's life force was incredibly tenacious, and he was not yet dead. But anyone with eyes could see that he was at his last breath.

Luo Guang scoffed, "Throwing a Light Spear from 400 miles away counts as a fight?"

Hearing this, Kokabiel's eyes widened, and he stared fixedly at Luo Guang.
