With the Holy Sword factor injected into him, he could wield the power of multiple Holy Swords at once. Even within the Church, he was a top-notch warrior, comparable to a High-Class Devil or Fallen Angel.
For this new, unknown man to take him out as easily as killing a chicken naturally came as a great surprise to Kokabiel. However, beyond the surprise, he had no other thoughts. He had seen many geniuses, but the only ones who could truly be compared to him were the select few from the three major factions. Even those in the Hero Faction were just reckless boys playing a hero's game. Luo Guang was completely unknown, yet Kokabiel was clearly recorded in the Bible. Still, Luo Guang's identity as a human caught his attention.
"Boy, as a human, why are you siding with devils?"
Hearing this, Luo Guang's expression remained calm. "Why should I explain my actions to you?"
"Good. No human has ever dared to speak to me like that. You're the first. If you can survive tonight, you might even have the honor of being recorded in the Bible." Kokabiel's eyes narrowed. "The only ones who can truly be my opponents are the Demon Kings of the Underworld and Michael from Heaven. But as a warm-up act before they arrive, I'll play with you for a bit."
"Hey, little ones from the Gremory and Sitri families, when are your elders going to show up?"
But his question was met with no response. All the girls glared at him furiously. In reality, before Rias, Sona had already secretly contacted the Underworld after Kokabiel's barrier was broken. The response was that her sister would soon be coming with an army. Although she didn't want to trouble her family, the situation had gone beyond what she and Rias could handle.
Rias and Sona moved to stand behind Luo Guang. "Luo Guang, we're here to help you."

Following his actions and the orders from Rias and Sona, all the peerage members gathered behind Luo Guang. They all knew that Luo Guang had a Longinus and could use its Balance Breaker. Therefore, in the upcoming battle, they would do everything they could to support Luo Guang until the reinforcements arrived. Before that, not losing anyone would be a success.
"Honestly, your courage and faith make me want to cry..." Kokabiel said leisurely, resting his right hand on the armrest of his throne. But his face quickly became cold and twisted. "What a joke! Ugly devils should all be killed. Seeing the looks on your faces makes me sick to my stomach!"
"But, luckily, you're all about to die."
As he spoke, Xenovia slowly regained consciousness. Seeing that Kokabiel's attention was elsewhere, she struggled to her feet with a difficult expression. Taking two large strides, she leaped into the air and, with an explosion of holy power, drew a wildly-styled greatsword from thin air—Durandal.
Although Caliburn had been stolen in the previous battle, Durandal was her true hidden trump card.

The Holy Sword Durandal was raised high by the girl. The air was split in two, and the vibrations caused a ringing in the ears. Kokabiel reacted, but his expression was not one of panic.
"Durandal? Unlike the destroyed Caliburn, this sword possesses true holy light, but..." He casually bent his finger as if to flick something, and an invisible force sent Xenovia flying. "The strength of a blade depends on its wielder, little girl. You can't truly handle Durandal. Compared to you, its previous wielder was a real warrior."
The falling Xenovia was quickly caught by a newly awakened Irina. The two tumbled to the ground and were completely out of the fight.
Then, Kokabiel looked back at the ready Rias and Sona. "It's admirable that you have the courage to challenge me, but that's the only praise I'll give you."
As his words fell, the terrifying pressure of a Fallen Angel executive surged like a tidal wave. The devil girls reacted the most intensely. Their limbs involuntarily trembled—a primal instinct that came from facing a superior predator. The surroundings became deathly silent, as if only Kokabiel's voice remained. It was only then that they understood just how terrifying Kokabiel's true power was when he got serious.
However, in this silent world, Luo Guang walked forward a step, his expression unchanged.
"Luo Guang, we need to work together..."
Before Sona could finish, Luo Guang's voice came from ahead without him turning around.
"Just rest. You're too weak. Helping me would only make you a burden."
