Chapter 7 - 007

Aurora's POV

Father would never do such a thing, he would never get me married to anyone without telling me. That was Stepmother's nature, not Father's nature.

Elena held my hand, "You should understand your father," I pushed her hand from mine and ran inside the house.

"Why would you bring us here to insult us?!" Omega Nickolas yelled at stepmother, and I didn't even care, "We will get to the bottom of this," He held his wife's hand and left.

"Why did you do that without consulting me first?!!" stepMother yelled, "Didn't I say I was going to get one of our youngest daughters married to the Lycan so why did you arrange your daughter's marriage with him?!!"

I was angry at Father, but seeing the situation, I couldn't say anything, "Father did the right thing," Justin said, "I would have done it if he hadn't done it."

"Excuse me?" Stepmother spat as she placed her hand on her waist.

"Your eldest daughter destroyed her first Marriage and now you want to get your younger daughter married to the man who proposed marriage to her?" Justin scoffed, "What exactly are you thinking? No, why are you even doing this?"

I stood in front of Justin, "That's enough; you shouldn't argue with your Mom because of me; I'm sure she had the best in mind for me."

"What the hell in god's name is she saying?!!" Stepmother yelled out of anger.

Justin stared at me as he said to his mother, "The girl you hate so much is taking your side and I wish she wouldn't."

I unconsciously shifted when Father touched my head, and his hand hung mid-air; Father redrew his hand and smiled a little.

"I just wanted to protect my little girl from the cruel world; the Lycan King likes you a lot, so I am choosing to trust him so you can leave this hell hole," Father said so only the people who understood sign language understood what we were saying.

"Father, I'm scared, I don't want to marry him," A lone tear rolled down my eyes.

Something didn't feel right; he didn't even know me, and he wasn't marrying me for politics, so exactly did he want to?

"I want you to trust your Father; I promise you will be happy; just accept and leave this hell hole," Father smiled. I tried my best to control my tears.

"Get ready, tomorrow you will do all your shopping and the next day will be the biggest wedding of the century," Justin cheered excitedly.

"You are one lucky b*st*rd," Indigo snickered near my ears, "Never did I think the Lycan King would marry from this family and worse more, the mute from this family," Indigo laughed.

"I will not be part of this wedding, I refuse to be part of it," Stepmother glared at me.

"Then you don't have to be, I will give my daughter away," Father replied calmly.

"I should go to my room," I forced a smile and walked to my room.

"I and Scott would come with you to that unknown place," I turned when I heard Elena's voice from the door of my room.

I looked at her weakly, "Why are you scared of being with him? I think it's for the best."

I sat on the bed, Elena sat near me and gave my hand a light squeeze, "Do you remember that day he brought me home?"

"Yes, is anything the matter?" Elena became concerned and curious.

"I heard him speak to me," I said patiently waiting for Elena's response.

Elena looked at me like I had lost my mind, "Don't you hear everyone speak to you?"

I shook my head aggressively at her, "Not that type of speech; when you left me at the market, I heard his voice in my head; it was clear."

"How is that possible? He Isn't in our pack, you aren't related to him, he hasn't marked you as his mate so how is that possible?" Elena asked me a question I didn't have the answer to, "Did you ask him about it?"

"Why is the room so quiet?" Elena rolled her eyes when Indigo entered my room without knocking.

"Don't you know how to knock?" Elena gritted.

"Someone who my family pays dares to speak to me in that tone," Indigo furrowed her eyebrows with amusement on her face, "You shall take your leave."

Elena glanced at me, and I nodded my head; she shut her eyes tight, opened them, and left the room.

I didn't bother to say anything because she wouldn't understand so I just sat down on the bed and waited for her to say what she wanted to say.

"I don't see it," Indigo said after staring at me, "I don't just see what they see."

"Were you having an affair with the Lycan King while you were married to Alpha Elijah?" My eyes widened and I shook my head as those forbidden words left Indigo's lips.

How could she say something like that? "That's the only reasonable explanation that would make a man like Tristan get married to a woman who was publicly rejected, don't you think so?"

I shook my head but the look on her face showed she was having fun with everything, "I should inform everyone of the betrayal Alpha Elijah faced from such a woman like you."

I couldn't say anything; I couldn't express myself, so I just pushed her, and she fell on the floor. Indigo burst into laughter, "I will not say it now; I will let you get married to such a powerful figure, and then I will make sure he humiliates you in front of everyone."

"Why are you doing this?" I asked, hoping Indigo would understand.

"Why am I doing this?" Indigo asked and I nodded my head, "Finally, I understood you without any translator," I was glad she could understand what I was trying to say.

Indigo stood up, "Why am I doing this?" She took threatening steps close to me, "I hate the sight of you and I can never let you be happy."

I shut my eyes, why does Indigo hate me so much? What did I ever do to her? "This isn't because your trash of a mother destroyed my Mother's marriage; this is simply my own hatred, and one day you will find out the reason."

Indigo was about to leave my room, but I held her hand, "I will make you beg before me, I will destroy everything, and I will make sure you never find peace till the day you remember why I hate you so much."

"You should pray to the almighty to spare you from my wrath," Indigo carefully removed my hand from her wrist, while I lost my balance and fell to the floor.

What does she mean? I don't remember the reason why she hates me.

"My lady, are you alright?" Elena ran inside the room and hugged me when she saw Indigo leave, "I hope she didn't hurt you," Elena looked around my body for any marks.

"Did anything happen between Indigo and me that I can't remember?" I questioned, Elena shook her head after keeping quiet for over a minute.

"Don't mind her, she is just been jealous," Elena assured me but I still felt reckless.
