A dark bluish screen suddenly materialized onto Amra's mind after such a fierce battle.

[Danger! Danger! More weaklings are approaching]

A set of more notification displayed in front of his eyes, but it was quite wrong to call it like that since his eyeballs were already damaged beyond repair from the previous battle, that he had barely survived.

Blood was trickling from his eyesockets with the pain echoing in the back of his head, but he didn't have time to nurture his wounds as more text displayed in the middle of this loaming danger.

[Prompt : Immediate selection of primary combat skill required. This choice will shape the user's combat path and unlock essential system functions.]

....

"If only I still had my sight!" He smirked while stepping back, but he soon had no more room left as his back made contact with a wall behind him.

Amra, a young sixteen years old high school boy was currently standing in the middle of a corridor, top floor of the male dormitory, and maybe the only survivor at the entire school, if not just this floor.

What started as a peaceful day turned to this,a chaotic world, universe, and it all started with just a sudden earthquake, an echoing roaring of thunder in the skies and the lightning stricking different corners of the world.

Then came the black acidic rain that was accompanied by the shadows licking every corner of the universe, and whatever it touched surely changed to something more terrifying.

Every single creature at any corner of the world suddenly heard a high-pitched sound that threatened to shatter their eardrums, and certainly granting them a headache unlike anything they've ever experience before.

And when it vanished, the world fractured. Some humans twisted into grotesque forms; creatures with pitch-black eyes and bone-thin limbs, crawling across walls and ceilings like spiders born of nightmares.

They didn't speak. They didn't think. They just fed on the human flesh, driven by a hunger that had no end.

This creatures are called the Weaklings. Once human, now twisted beyond recognition.

Their bodies are gaunt and contorted, built for speed and savagery. Black, soulless eyes gleam from hollow sockets as they crawl across walls and ceilings like insects possessed.

Their mouths are lined with serrated teeth, jagged and uneven, perfect for tearing flesh. Their hands end in razor-sharp claws, capable of slicing through bone with terrifying ease.

Amra had just fought one of them and barely survived, but he lost his eyes in the process.

"So I really don't have a choice?" He muttered while looking at the group of endless long text displaying in his mind.

He knew he had to act quick as he could hear the weaklings crawling towards him at a crazy speed, but he still needed not to make a decision on a whim.

He needed something that might last him for as long as possible since it was clear that the world has dramatically changed, with danger watching at every corner behind the shadows.

'If humans can change to this, what about the animals? Both domestic and wild, would they really be spared' He thought while quickly going through the notification and understanding every single written word. 'Let's not forget about plants, I really need something that I'm familiar with, something that I understand better, something like archery.' he thought with a decision made.

This wasn't on a whim decision making.

About a week ago, Amra had joined the Archers school team where he obtained some basic skills about this field, and though it was just basic, it was better than having no skills or experience at all.

[Archery has been selected as the primary skill]

[Note! The user has access to an unlimited number of combat skills. To unlock additional disciplines, locate and acquire Skill Scrolls scattered throughout the world. Each scroll contains the essence of a forgotten art waiting to be mastered.]

[Congratulations! You have been granted a Night Fang bow plus night sky arrows.]

The text displayed and suddenly, Amra found himself holding something on his left hand, forged in silence and shadow, the Night Fang Bow, a sleek, obsidian weapon that seemed to drink in the light from the surroundings to amplify its beauty.

Its body was carved from a black, bone-like alloy that was smooth to the touch and etched with faint, spectral runes which pulsed while danger crawled closer.

The curvature of the bow was elegant yet menacing, like the spine of a predator coiled for the kill, but its hidden intend laying beneath the glittering mirror-polished surface.

At each end of the bowstring's arc, the limbs taper into jagged, fang-like blades, curved inward like the teeth of a hunting beast.

The blades weren't just ornamental; they gleam with a venomous sheen, capable of slashing through flesh if wielded in a closer combat.

The weight was perfect, the curving was good, but that wasn't the only thing that Amra found himself having.

On his back rested a sleek, obsidian quiver, less a container and more a sculpted extension of the Night Fang Bow's ominous elegance.

Forged from the same shadow-drinking alloy, its surface shimmered faintly with a mirror-polished sheen, catching the dim light like a pool of ink stirred by moonlight.

The quiver's body was narrow and angular, shaped like a shard of midnight glass, with subtle ridges that resembled the vertebrae of a serpent.

Faint runes etched along its spine pulsed in rhythm with Amra's heartbeat, as if the quiver itself was alive and attuned to his fear, his resolve, his transformation.

Inside, ten arrows stood in perfect alignment, each one a masterpiece of lethal beauty.

Their shafts were carved from the same black alloy, polished to a mirror finish that reflected the surrounding chaos in fractured glints.

The fletching was minimal, made of spectral threads that shimmered like strands of shadow caught in a breeze. The arrowheads were jagged and fang-like, echoing the bow's design, and glowed faintly with a venomous hue, as if thirsting for blood.

[Note! After use, each arrow would take an approximate of thirty seconds to retract back to the quiver, while at 50 meters of rang.]

[Congratulations! A first Archery skill has been granted]

[Wind Piercer – Level 1: A passive skill that allows the arrows to slip through the air with minimal resistance and a hushed flight path.]

[The wind bends away instinctively, reducing drag and silencing the hiss of motion.]

[The user can now view his status window]

[Error!!]

[The screen would be a distraction in the middle of this crawling danger.]

[First Quest has been granted]

[Quest: One arrow, one life]

[Defeat the seven approaching level 1 weaklings to receive a one in a million special skill.]
