Leo felt a sharp pain near the top of his shell, as if, well, as if he had just been shot. Blood trickled out of the bullet wound, as Leo could feel the bullet still in there. The bullet had hit near his shoulder, lodging into his shell half-way to his shoulder. Leo grit his teeth as he slowly turned around. He looked down at Ava, who was trying to catch her breath. She stared up at him with wide eyes. "I told you you'd get shot." Leo snapped, summoning his swords.
Ava staggered to her feet. "No Leo, don't-"
"This is war Ava. I have to." Leo interrupted. He looked back at Baxter. "Hey kid. Long time no see."
"I'm not a kid!" Baxter struggled to reload his pistol, shoving the bullets in the gun's magazine.
"Strange," Leo threw his Odachi at Baxter, teleporting to it. "You sure dodge like one." He swung his second Odatchi at Baxter's neck. However before it hit, Baxter was yanked out of the way. He had been pulled away by a man with dusty blonde hair and blue eyes, who was wearing a suit and tie. Probably another soldier. Leo's marks glowed as he ran after them, this time swinging his sword at the soldier. The soldier barely ducked in time, before he lunged forward, punching Leo. Leo stumbled back slightly, quickly regaining his balance. The soldier lunged one again, punching at Leo's stomach. The soldier let out a painful wheeze as he clutched his fist.
"What the hell?" The man questioned as his fist turned red.
"No, it's a shell." Leo corrected with a smirk. "And since we're playing via street fight rules…" Leo punched the soldier, kicking him away. Leo looked back at Baxter, and- He was gone. Leo whirled around to see Baxter had loaded the gun, raising it to point at Leo.
Before he could shoot, Ava appeared behind him, using the hilt of her sword to hit his head, causing the gun to fire a few feet away from Leo. Ava struggled to wrestle the gun from Baxter, when the soldier grabbed her by the neck and threw her off him. "Kris, the hell are you doing?!" Ava exclaimed.
"I can't just let you kill the general!" Kris explained.
Leo tuned them out as he punched Baxter across the face, before punching him repeatedly in the stomach. Out of the corner of his eyes he could see Ava and this Kris guy engaging in a fist fight. Leo summoned his Odatchi as he shoved Baxter against the wall. He stabbed the sword into Baxter's shoulder. Baxter yelped in pain, freezing. Leo turned to go help Ava when- BANG BANG! Two shots fired next to Leo's head. Leo whirled around to see Kris holding a red gun, his tie nowhere to be seen. HIS TIE TURNED INTO A GUN?! Why wouldn't they just nuke New York if they could pay for disguised weapons?!
Ava grabbed at the gun, trying to disarm him. Kris kicked her off him. "Sorry for this Ava." He stomped on Ava's back twice, heavy stomps that left her stunned for a minute or two, before bringing his fist down on her head. She passed out from the blow. He raised his gun to Leo. "This is for my parents!" Kris roared, his finger pulling the trigger.
BANG! TING! A chain shot forward, the bullet ricocheting off it. The ball of the kusari-fundō swung back around, hitting Kris in the head, the force knocking him out cold. "I leave you alone for TEN MINUTES!" Mikey huffed, his kusari-fundō's chain retracting into the handle. He walked to where Leo was holding Baxter against the wall, picking up a chair on his way. "Leo, let go of the rat for a sec." Leo backed up as Mikey brought the chair down onto Baxter's head, also knocking him unconscious. "Make a portal to the castle will you bro?"
Leo cringed as he twirled his sword. "COUNCIL RESIDENCE." He corrected.
"It's a castle." Mikey clarified. He picked up Kris, chucking him through the portal. Leo followed in suit with Baxter. He walked to Ava, gently picking her up. "You idiot." He sighed, carrying her through the portal. "Go grab the guards and bring them through. I need to get her to the doctor." Leo instructed Mikey.
Leo looked at a nearby guard as he stepped into the dungeon. "Be as rough as you need to get these guys into cells." He ordered. He turned, walking up the stairs into the "castle". He walked into their guest room, setting Ava on the bed. "Donnie! Raph! Get in here!" Leo called. His brothers rushed in.
"Is she okay?" Raph asked.
"I don't know. Donnie, use your magic tech stuff." Leo ordered.
"I will have you know Nardo that magic and science will never go in that order when it comes to a sentence." Donnie corrected as he called in his tech. Leo turned, walking to the door. "Where are you going?"
"I need to go beat some answers out of a general." Leo answered before leaving the room.
